Triathlon Junior African Cup 2019
The flagship event of our Season Calendar takes place on place on Saturday 16th February 2019 at Troutbeck Inn Resort – as many of you know, this is an incredible event with so much to offer with different races for all – the 2019 event will be bigger than before with the inclusion of the ATU Cross-Triathlon African Championships AND the ATU Junior Triathlon African Cup.

As a summary of the Races on the Event Schedule – please take note of the following –
SWIM
Water temperature: Expect 20 degrees
Number of laps: SPRINT: 1 LAP x 750m
Start Mechanism DEEP WATER
Conditions: LAKE-CLEAN, DISEASE & ANIMAL FREE.
BIKE
Number of laps: SPRINT: 3 LAPS x 6.6km.
Hilly and technical, no requirement though for gear/cassette changes – 16% gradient. Road closure.
RUN
Number of laps: SPRINT: 2 LAPS x 2.5km..
Hilly, 19% gradient, 90% pavement,10% grass.

ALL OTHER EVENTS
All entries MUST be made ONLINE via this website – please go to “2019 TROUTBECK MULTI-SPORT FESTIVAL” on the home page and FOLLOW THE LINKS to each event. There will be NO PRINTED ENTRY FORMS – all entries have to be done online and are linked to an electronic timing and results system.
The website pages will be updated regularly with relevant information to include course maps, race schedule, accommodation details etc.
ACCOMMODATION
All accommodation reservations for host Hotel TROUTBECK INN RESORT are to be made through Triathlon Zimbabwe – bookings will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.
All rates quoted are US$ based and RTGS/Ecocash rates at the time will apply.
DOUBLE – US$ 140 BED AND BREAKFAST (2 people sharing)
SINGLE – US$ 100 PER PERSON PER NIGHT BED AND BREAKFAST (single occupancy)
CHILDREN SHARING WITH PARENTS – aged 4 – 12 – US$ 50 PER CHILD PER NIGHT BED ONLY – breakfast and all other meals will be charged separately
