Breca Coniston SwimRun 2017
The Lake District is too perfect for swimrun for us to have only one event there, which is why we have returned for the newest addition to our UK series: Breca Coniston.
Explore four of the most beautiful and imposing of the English lakes: Coniston Water, Windermere, Rydal Water and Grasmere. The course follows tracks and paths along valleys and over passes in the midst of splendid and varied Lakeland scenery.
Join us for the inaugural event on 7th October 2017. As the pioneer edition, we’re offering a reduced price of £125 per person. Entries are for teams of two only.
NEW TO SWIMRUN?
Welcome! As a Breca Swimrunner, you will take part in ultimate endurance challenges through incredible landscapes carefully selected to fulfill your desire for adventure, a break from the norm and for paths less trodden.
The three key things to know about swimrun are:
– You switch between swimming and running many times during the race
– You participate in pairs, making it a team event
– You swim in your trainers and run in your wetsuit – there are no gear changes

Run: 38km | Swim: 5km | Transitions: 16 | Total: 42km
Entry:
Breca Coniston – £125 per person for the first 50 teams, £125 per person thereafter
The entry fee includes:

Swimrun is raced in pairs – entry is for teams of two only
ENTRY CRITERIA
1.1 To participate entrants must race in teams of two. Team members must be at least 18 years old on the date of the race
1.2 Participants must comply with all biosecurity measures where applicable
1.3 Teams must inform Breca Swimrun, immediately and in writing to ben@brecaswimrun.com, should they need to withdraw from the event. Withdrawals up to 8 weeks prior to race day are eligible for a 70% refund. Withdrawals after that time will not be refunded for any reason as all costs will have been incurred by that stage and your team will not be replaced. There are no deferrals or transfers to alternative or later events.
1.4 Teams may change one team member prior to the race. Please inform the Breca Swimrun team via the contact page
1.5 Teams must attend Registration and the Safety Brief
