Registration will take place on the Plass outside the Wales Millennium Centre CF10 5AL on a Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning of the event weekend.
Saturday: 12:00 – 16:00
Sunday: 05:00 – 07:00
Sunday: 05:00 – 06:15 (Sprint Duathlon)
Confirmed weekend timings and locations will be detailed in your final instructions, available on the website, and via email ten days before the race.
Start waves are allocated using the estimated finish time on your entry.
Race packs will be picked up from registration at the event village before the race start. This will include all your necessary race numbers and your timing chip.
Competitors must be at least 17 years old to participate in the Olympic Triathlon and at least 15 to take part in the Super Sprint, Sprint, and Age Group Qualifier.
You must bring a wetsuit to the event, and based on the water temperature; the wetsuit may be forbidden, optional or mandatory. The water temperature will be measured on race day and communicated with everyone participating.

You must bring your own bike and helmet; E-bikes and power-assisted bikes are not allowed, but any other bike is, including mountain bikes.
Olympic: Swim cut-off: 50 minutes, bike course must be clear by 10:00.
Sprint: Swim cut-off: 30 minutes, bike course must be clear by 10:00.
Super Sprint: Swim cut-off: 20 minutes, bike course must be clear by 10:00.
World Triathlon Age Group Qualifier: Swim cut-off: 30 minutes, bike course must be clear by 12:50.
Transition opens early on the morning of the event and closes no later than 45 minutes before the first wave starts.
The transition will only be open for racking on the day of the event. It is not possible to leave your bike overnight. You may not enter transition for any reason after the allocated time.
If you are not a member of the British Triathlon Federation, your entry will include the cost of a day membership for £6.
World Triathlon Age Group Qualifier
You will need to have a valid membership by 17:00, three working days before. To be eligible for qualification, athletes must have registered their intent to qualify with British Triathlon by 17:00 on Friday before.
