Carthage Race International Marathon 2019
Event Information
The Carthage Race 2019 come to discover a historical site, a millenary city, a young and unique race in the World. Sports Med Event’s offers with the assistance of the Municipality of Carthage, Kram and Goulette a new circuit for a better discovery of the wealth of Tunisia.
42km – The Carthage Race Marathon 2019 wants to be more fit with a more fluid racing setup. However the perimeter of the race area is very restrictive but we managed to make it easier in terms of loop. We hope it will meet all your expectations.
The 4 races are of course AIMS-IAAF certified and a chrono timing by Chronosports Race Result. 5th The Carthage Race Marathon 4 distances: Marathon – Half Marathon – 10 & 5 K
This year 2019 will also see the renewal of the “Challenge Team” Clubs & Companies registration with the relay marathon.
Removing bibs
Places: Village Marathon – Roman Theater of Carthage
Thursday 21st of February from 16hrs to 20hrs
Friday, February 22 from 7 am to 8 pm
Saturday, February 23 from 7hrs to 20hrs
NO bib distribution on the day of the race
Starting signal
Sunday, February 24, 2019 – Top start 9:00 in the heart of the legacy of Carthage at the foot of the Roman Amphitheater
Rules & regulations
Your participation in the Carthage Race Marathon can not be refunded or transferred to a third party.
General Regulations
Aid Stations & Refreshments
Every 2.5 km and according to IAAF standards you will find refueling points as well as sponges. Water – Fruit juice – dates & raisins will be available as well as a final refueling.
Rescue & Kine
A doctor of the organization will be present during all the competition in the zone finisher as well as a team Kiné in addition to the SAMU and the Tunisian Red Crescent present on the race
Winners’ bonuses
T-shirt offered during the withdrawal of the bib – a finisher medal specially designated for the race awaits you on your arrival. The first 3 winners will receive a gold medal – Silver-Bronze and a bonus in Tunisian Dinars (link to bonuses)
