Senshu International Marathon Japan
The race is conducted in accordance with the FY2018 official regulations of Japan Association of Athletics Federations and the official agreements of the Race Organize.

Eligibility
Please be informed that wheelchair athletes cannot participate in this race because of the race administration restrictions and other reasons.
Eligible runners must be 18 years old of age or older as of race day and complete the race with the set time limit.

Escort Optically Inconvenienced Runners

It is necessary to register at the race entry. The runner can request two escort runners, but run with only one escort runner at one time.

Entrants will be given a T-shirt as a gift at the check-in desk. Be sure to specify size on your application form. If non specified, male runners will be given a size L, and female runners will be given a size S. Please note that exchange is impossible in this case.

(1)Full Marathon
All finishers who complete the marathon within the time limit of 5 hours will be given a finisher towel at finish line and get a official certificate result after the race through JSS homepage.
(2)　Half Marathon
All finishers who complete the Half marathon within the time limit of 2 and a half hours will be given a finisher towel and a official certificate result at the race day.

Others
1. The organizer does not have the parking lot for participants.
2. During the race, please follow instructions given by police officers and staff on the route.
3. The course will have 7 checkpoints (or 3 checkpoint for half marathon). Runners who fall excessively behind will be instructed to leave the course at any points other than the checkpoints.
4. The 26th race guidance for international residents will be opened by the end of January at the latest.
5. Bib Number Pick-up Vouchers will be sent out by email.
6. Runners may leave one luggage (maximum size: 65cm x 50cm) at the designated place at the start area. The luggage will be transferred to the finish area. The organizer will not bear any liability for damage, theft, or loss of luggage.
7. If the event organizer grant permission, third parties may sell photos and other items.
8. Runners are not allowed to run the race with items that are not necessary for the race. [Fancy costumes prohibited.]
9. Concerning matters related to the race other than the above, please follow the instructions of the organizer.
Event Agreement
Before applying, please agree to the following terms and conditions for the entry.
1. Registration for both half marathon and full marathon is prohibited. Please make sure to apply for only one category. Duplicate application will be disqualified.
2. Any false information such as age, gender, record are prohibited, a third person is not permitted for run instead of the applicant in any situation. All fees are non-refundable in this case.
3. Any false application regarding the rule 1) or 2) will be disqualified and non-refundable.
4. A runner under 20 years old must obtain the consent of the guardian.
5. Once the registration is completed, no refund will be done for duplicate or excessive payment.
6. All fees are non-refundable after application has been submitted.
7. Changing the race category is not available after application has been submitted.
8. Event organizers are not responsible for any delayed or not completed application due to your internet connection or software.
9. During the race, event organizers will provide first aid treatment only and not responsible for any further treatment.
10. Runners must not have any sickness, be in sound state of health and carryout sufficient training in preparation for this marathon.
11. Any sickness, injury and any accidents that occur during the race are personal responsibility.
12. Event organizers are not responsible for being late to the race due to any issues regarding traffic situation on the race day.
13. In the case of an earthquake, storm, flooding, snow, or accident, the organizers will assess the situation and make a decision concerning scaling down or cancelling the race accordingly. Organizers in no way will be held responsible for the cancellation of the race and entry fees will not be refunded.
14. All photos and documentation taken or used during the KIX Senshu International Marathon event are subject to copyright and belong to the organizer.
15. The organizer will conduct the race in accordance with these terms and conditions for entry and the terms and conditions for the race.
16. The organizer will handle applicants’ information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law in Japan.
