Launched as a celebration of 10 years of Outlaw, Outlaw X takes competitors in and around the stunning grounds of Thoresby Park. So whether this is your first or fiftieth triathlon, the atmosphere and picturesque views are something not to be missed, so come and have fun and break records at the Outlaw X 2021.
Route description
Swim
Start the event right with a swim in the unspoilt, private lake within Thoresby Park grounds. Swimmers will start in a waved format with a deep water start as they swim 1.2 miles in a single loop.
Bike
The single-loop bike ride takes entrants through stunning Nottinghamshire countryside, including Walesby Forest and Clumber Park. The highest point of the course comes at mile 51, with approximately 2000ft of climbing. The rest of the route is host to a few climbs followed by plenty of long, fast sections.
Run
Finally, it’s onto the run section of the event, with 2 loops of the off-road course. Undulating in a few sections but with plenty of stunning views of Thoresby Hall, the course meanders into some private woodlands before heading to the finish line for that photo finish.
