In Greek mythology, a phoenix is a long-lived bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the Sun, a phoenix obtains new life by arising from the ashes of its predecessor.
In this virtual run, we want to emphasize the importance to embrace new beginnings. “Rise like a phoenix from the ashes of failures”.
You can complete the Phoenix virtual run in your own pace and time. Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, either outside or inside on a treadmill.
All you have to do is register for the race and provide evidence that you have done it. The evidence can be a screenshot of your running app, a photo of the treadmill screen etc.
