Come along for Shropshire’s largest Santa Run and be part of the Santa invasion. With a closed-road, flat run, the Oswestry Santa 5k sees thousands of runners come out. So come to burn off those mince pies and run with family and friends this December.

Route information
The Shropshire Santa Run takes place on Shropshire’s fully-closed roads. Starting and finishing on Church Street, runners will be taken around the town and show their Santa costumes to the locals.

Parking
There are two car parks which are close to the event site:
Bailey Head car park SY11 1PZ
Salop Rd Central Car Park SY11 2NR
The organisers advise entrants to park on the outskirts of town and walk to the event.

Age Requirements
All entrants must be 11 and older to enter the event.
Race Packs
Race packs will be posted to participants the week before the event. For those entering who live outside of the UK and those who enter close to the event date, race packs will be collected on the day from Race HQ.
Cut-off Time
There will be a 70-minute cut-off in place at the event. Roads will reopen in line with this, and runners falling behind this time will be asked to stop.
Toilets
There will be toilets available in the public park, and extra toilets will be placed in the walkway next to the start.
Para-Athletes
Participants with disabilities should contact the event organiser at hello@adrenalinesportingevents.co.uk to discuss their needs.
There is no dedicated wheelchair race at the event, but accompanied wheelchairs, visually impaired and learning disabled athletes are welcome. Entrants are asked to choose their start position with care; typically, the back of the race is the safest.
Wheelchair users are advised that there are some speed bumps on the course.
Spectator Info
Spectators are encouraged to watch the event from the start and finish on Church Street.
