Shropshire Santa Run (5K)

Hitch up your sleigh for Shropshire’s largest Santa Run and bring a flash of red to the streets of Oswestry with thousands of runners dressed as Santa Claus to spread festive fun and burn a few cheeky calories for the holidays.
The streets of Oswestry will transform into a festive course for everyone to enjoy from 11 years old up.
Run the course with your family and friends to burn away those mince pies.

The event HQ & start/finish are a short walk from several car parks in the town centre.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
- Arrive in Oswestry: 8 am
- Warm Up: 8:45 am
- Race Start: 9 am
PARKING
Bailey Head car park SY11 1PZ or Salop Rd Central Car Park SY11 2NR. We advise local residents to park on the outskirts of town and walk in.
Race Start / Finish
The Race Start / Finish will be full of music and flags. There will be a help desk at Race HQ for any last-minute issues. The race village is just a short walk from the local park, car parks, retail shops, cafes and eateries.
Run Experience
We are keen to ensure that everyone enjoys the day regardless of their ability. Our great race cut-off time will allow everyone to return to Church Street before we open the public roads. And at the finish line we will give you your festive medal.
