Come along to England and Wales Highest Peak – Snowdon/Yr Wyddfa – for the ultimate hiking challenge. Fantastic for keen hikers looking for a new conquest, the challenge is to climb up and down Snowdon as many times as you can within 24 hours. Come along for a test of endurance like no other.
Snowdon 24 Challenge route
The hiking challenge of all hiking challenges – athletes either individually or as a team must ascend and descend England and Wales highest peak as much as they can in 24 hours.
The course begins in Llanberis Village and will take you up the Llanberis path, which is a 15KM out and back route. The course will take passed the famous Half Way House, Allt Moses and Clogwyn Bridge.
The winner will be those who have completed as climbs as possible and there are three race categories:
Solo Entry
Pair Relay Entry
Team Relay Entry
There will be rest areas on site. Always Aim High will be given their own shelter, Pair Relays will be given space for one shelter between the pair (2 person tent), and teams will be given space to pitch a 3 person tent.
Between 9 PM and 8 AM, there will be no music or noise, while the rest area will be a silent zone for the duration of the 24 hours.
