Toronto Marathon 2018
The Marathon course is fast, downhill, and scenic. Starting at Mel Lastman Square in North York and finishing at Ontario Place, the Marathon winds through many of the City’s great neighbourhoods. This Toronto favourite is one of the fastest courses you will find anywhere and is a great qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
7:30 AM – START – On Beecroft Road behind Mel Lastman Square north of North York Blvd.
Marathon participants must be at least 18 years of age on race day. Walkers are not permitted in the Marathon. In-line skates, roller-skates, skateboards, bicycles, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. For the safety of all participants, iPods and similar audio devices are not recommended.
All participants will receive a bib and technical shirt. Bibs must be worn on the front and visible at all times. Shirts and bibs must be picked up at the Expo.
We encourage all participants maintain a minimum 7.5-minute/km (12-minute/mile) pace. Participants running slower may be asked to move on to the sidewalk upon course closure and obey normal traffic laws.
