From the organisers that founded Long Course Weekend and Ironman Wales, a new event with the same big atmosphere will hit the shores of Pembrokeshire in West Wales – The Wales SwimRun.
The Wales SwimRun will take place from the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Starting on the cliff tops above Freshwater East, the race will move East,taking in Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby and will end to a huge party finish in the fishing harbour of Saundersfoot. All running will be off-road following the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, with 2 feed stations positioned on route. In total the event is just over 16 miles with 13 miles of running and 3 miles of swimming.
Year 1 will be capped at 150 teams total.
