Zofinger City Run 2019
A sporty ambience with spectacular duathlon and running sports in the middle of Zofinger’s old town.
The Duathlon Interval and the Zofinger Stadtlauf offer participants and the public a great range of adrenalin and entertainment.
The Zofinger city run is a compact and atmospheric city run with various categories for young and old, teams and individual athletes, amateur athletes and performance athletes. It will be held for the 22nd time in 2019 and can be played singly or as a team. The routes are 6km or 10km.
Getting There
The journey is easily possible both by train and by car. Zofingen train station is only 400m away from the competition area. For the car, the public parking outside the city, preferably at the station parking garage, to use.
Doping
The use of doping substances is prohibited.

closets
The cloakrooms are located 250m from the start / finish area. Both are located on the grounds of the large community schoolhouse.

Liability / Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. All participants must be insured against personal liability risks and accidents.
All runners take part in the race at their own responsibility and risk. The organizer declines any liability for accidents and damages of any kind (including theft).
Participants must submit a signed waiver and exemption from liability before the start of the race.
Music
If you cannot do without: Music in the ears is allowed at the Zofinger city run, although it is forbidden in the international rules. Please adjust the volume so that the surroundings can be perceived, eg calls from other runners.
Personal Data
The personal data of the participants can be used for marketing purposes (eg brochures, mailings, etc.) and for this purpose also be passed on to partners. The organizer undertakes to process all personal data only in accordance with the Data Protection Act. If you do not agree with this use of your personal data, please notify us in writing before the event to info@intervallduathlon.ch . Participants agree to the use of film and photo material for the illustration of websites and other PR purposes of the organizer and its partners.
Personal preparation
Get familiar with track length, number of laps and the course before starting. Orient yourself where the start and where the goal is. The route is well marked, there are many marshals. Nevertheless, you are responsible for turning the target channel after your number of laps!
Prize money / finisher prizes
The 3 best categories in all categories receive prizes in kind.
No prices will be forwarded.
All participants over 12 years receive a commemorative price in the city run look.
Children and pupils up to 11 years receive the city run finisher medal.
Rankings
The rankings are published online at Ranking Lists or at Datasport.ch .
On race day, printed rankings are hung at the info points. No rankings will be sent.
Medical service
Sanitation is on site.
Presentation ceremony
After the races, the award ceremonies take place during the festival in the market hall.
Costs insurance
Entry fee insurance is the responsibility of the participants. You can insure yourself for a small amount when registering. There is no refund of entry fees from the organizer.
Starting numbers
The start numbers are not sent. They can be picked up on the race day at the start number issue (Rosengartenturnhalle).
The bib number issue will open on Sunday morning at 09:00 .
Food
During the race there is a refreshment point with water every 2km shortly after the start sheet. In addition, refreshing fruits are served in the finish area in addition to drinks.
In the covered area of the market hall, young and old can quench their thirst and hunger and this right up close to the running track. There is also coffee and cake.
Valuables deposit / lost property office
At the start number issue, we offer a free custody account for the participants of the city run. The lost property office can also be found there. The valuables are to pick up until 14:00 against showing the start number!
Timekeeping
Official timekeeping by Datasport. The electronic chip is attached above the ankle using Velcro. Chips not returned after the finish will be charged.
In addition to the end time, the lap times are measured.
Competition rules
The city run is subject to the Regulations of Swissathletics and belongs to the running trophy of Swissathletics.
Deadline
Online Registration Deadline: Thursday, 16.5.2019, 23:59.
If you are registered until Sunday, 19.5.2018, your first name will be printed on the start number.
Late entries are possible on the day of the competition at the start of the race at the Rosengarten gym (Rosengartenstrasse, 4800 Zofingen) until 1 hour before the start against a late entry fee (opening of the starting number at 09:00, the amount of late registration fees can be added to the category tables for the Stadtlauf and the Duathlon are taken. No late entry fee for Kids categories.

City run Team relay new
This year we are making a team relay for the first time. The team consists of 3 runners and everyone makes a round of 2 kilometers through the old town. After this round, the next runner will be sent to the next round by handing over the baton. The final runner then makes the finish line.
City run group registration
As an alternative to online registration, you can fill out an Excel form (in full) for your team or for a large number of children or adolescents and send it to nadine.zurschmiede@crossfirecoaching.ch . Then you get the account data for the immediate deposit of the entry fee. Only after the payment, the runners are placed on the start list.
Costs insurance
Entry fee insurance is the responsibility of the participants. It can be solved by online registration. There are no refunds of paid entry fees in case of disqualification, assignment or absence. If an athlete is prevented from attending the event because of an injury, illness or any other of the insured reasons, he will contact ERV’s claim center directly. He submits the policy and the medical certificate to the ERV. The policy is the e-mail confirmation from Datasport. The athlete received it by e-mail after registering online.
