Marathon in South Africa
Join us this year as we take off from the Isak Steyl Stadium in a thrilling 10km, 21km and an all grueling 42.2km marathon this September. Dust off those old running shoes and get fit.
TIMING AND RESULTS
The race distance for the 3 main distance have been measured, certified and approved by the IAAF.
Timing will be MAT to MAT for 42.2km and 21.1km (start line to finish line). There will be a 15min restart window for the 42.2km & 21.1km runner. GUN to MAT on 10km. Additional timing mat will be placed on the course to verify timer. Participants must cross ALL mat (restart line, on route & finish line) to record official timer, failure to do to could result in no official record or dissrqualifcation.
Marathon runner will not be permitted to restart second lap of 42.2 km distance after 08h30.
Start window for the 42.2km & 21.1km will be from 6:00am – 6:15am.
