Event day logistics
08:00 Arrive in Welshpool
09:00 Race start
The race cut-off time is 90 minutes. Roads will reopen after this time, and runners travelling slower than this may be asked to withdraw from the event.
Athletes with a Disability
While this is not a dedicated wheelchair race, accompanied wheelchairs, visually impaired and learning disabled athletes are more than welcome.
If an athlete needs a carer or guide to accompany them during the race, the carer is entitled to a free place in the race.
Please get in contact with Alan Lewis at firstname.lastname@example.org to apply for this and help ensure your needs are met.
Race packs will be posted out to entrants who have entered more than four weeks before the race. Those who live outside of the UK or who have joined later will be able to collect their race pack on the day at Race HQ.
Fancy dress is welcomed and encouraged! However, it is asked that you are considerate to your fellow runners and do not wear a costume that might be obstructive or dangerous to others.
Spectators are welcome to attend and support their runners; however, for the safety of the runners and volunteers, it is asked that you listen to the marshals and stay off the course until all runners have passed.
It is recommended that spectators cheer on their runners from the start and finish on the High Street, but the route has good pavement coverage, so do feel free to cheer them on from all areas.
