The race site is a short walk from the Host Hotel. There will be no secure bag drop at the race course, please leave valuables at the hotel.
Do not fold your race bid as it will damage the chip. Please ensure bid is on front of shirt. 5K runners ensure you do not set off your race bib chip by standing to close to the start of the race when cheering on the 10K runners.
To ensure that roads reopen to vehicular traffic at the scheduled times, course time limits will be STRICTLY ENFORCED. Participants must maintain a pace faster than the course time limits in order to complete the race on closed city streets. Cut-off locations will be enforced on the course; runners or walkers who do not reach the cut-off location by the communicated time will be advanced forward on the course, or shuttled to the finish line area. Please note – cut-off times are calculated based on participants’ timing tag time, not starting gun time. Course time limits begin when the last participant and Tail Vehicle cross the start line.
The race staff would like to thank you in advance for considering these etiquette tips as you enjoy the run! Please pay attention to pre-race instructions – both print and verbal. What you read and hear will not only help guide you through the course but will also keep you safe.
Run or walk no more than two abreast. Other runners will want to get by you.
If you are stopping at a water station, move all the way over to the table. Grab water and move away from the table so that others may get water, too.
Move to the side if someone behind you says, “Excuse Me” or “Coming Through”.
When you are approaching the finish line, you may see loved ones cheering you on. Please do not encourage anyone to join you in the finish line stretch. Your support team is very important, but please communicate that the race course and finish area is for registered participants and staff only.
Each runner will be issued a race bib at Race Packet Pick-Up. Please wear your assigned race bib centered on the front of your outermost garment. It is your responsibility to wear the bib number during the race.
Please confirm that your bib is:
Clearly visible on the front of the torso
Unaltered and unmodified (do not fold or wrinkle)
Pinned in all four corners
Not covered with shirts, jackets, etc.
Have a great race!
