DESCRIPTION:Returning on 9 July 2023\, ASICS London 10K is the most iconic capital city 10K race. Live bands\, DJs and cheering fans will motivate you all along the route that takes you to Westminster Bridge\, The London Eye\, Regent Street\, Piccadilly Circus and Big Ben. Don’t miss your spot on the start line! \n\n\n\nRace Day Details: Asics London 10k 2023\n\n\n\n\n\n9:30 am Sun 9th Jul 2023\n105 Piccadilly\, London W1J 7NJ\, UK\n\n\n\n\n\nASICS LONDON 10K FAQ’S 2023//General Information \n\n\n\nWhat time does the ASICS London 10K start\, and where?\n\n\n\nThe exact 2023 start time is still TBC. There is a race cut-off time of 1 hour and 45 minutes for each runner\, after which any runners still on the course will be asked to move to the pavements so that we can give Westminster residents their roads back! \n\n\n\nWhat time does the ASICS London 10K start\, and where?\n\n\n\nThe Asics London 10K race start line information will be shared in the weeks leading up to the event with your arrival and wave times. \n\n\n\nAll runners will be allocated a time slot to arrive at the event\, which  MUST be followed. Please do not arrive any earlier than your allocated time.  If you arrive in Central London before your allocated time\, please find a safe open space nearby to wait before entering the race facilities or the start area. \n\n\n\nThe start process will be seeded with your actual start time\, dependent on your predicted finish time.  Further detailed information will be shared with you well in advance of race day\, along with being included in the Race Day Guide\, which will be emailed to runners shortly before race weekend. \n\n\n\nThere is a race cut-off time of 1 hour and 45 minutes for each runner\, after which any runners still on the course will be asked to move to the pavements so that we can give Westminster residents their roads back! \n\n\n\nHow do I get to the ASICS London 10K?\n\n\n\nAll runners will be allocated a specific time slot to arrive at the event\, which  MUST be followed. Please do not arrive any earlier than your allocated time. If you arrive in Central London before your allocated time\, please find a safe open space nearby to wait before entering the race facilities or the start area. \n\n\n\nThe entry point for Asics London 2021 was at the junction of The Mall & Horse Guards Road. This location is at the North-East end of St James’s Park: \n\n\n\nApproximate postcode: SW1A 2BE \n\n\n\nTo reach this location if using public transport\, please use one of the following stations on event day and follow directional signage: \n\n\n\n\nVictoria Mainline or Underground Station (Victoria Line\, District & Circle Line)\n\n\n\nSt James’s Park Underground Station (District & Circle Line)\n\n\n\nWestminster Underground Station (Jubilee Line\, District & Circle Line)\n\n\n\nCharing Cross Mainline or Underground Station (Northern Line\, Bakerloo Line)\n\n\n\nEmbankment Underground Station (Bakerloo Line\, Northern Line\, District & Circle Line)\n\n\n\n\nIs there a bag drop for the ASICS London 10K?\n\n\n\nIf possible\, please arrive ‘race ready’\, meaning you don’t need to drop a bag at our bag facility.  This will reduce queues and give you a smoother route to the start line.  If this is not possible\, please note there will be a limited bag drop facility available for participants on the day. \n\n\n\nMore detailed information on this will be provided closer to the event date and will also be available in the Race Day Guide\, which will be emailed to runners before the event. \n\n\n\nCan I bring friends or family to watch me?\n\n\n\nThere will be lots going on around the 2023 start and finish lines\, from entertainment to cheer points! The more\, the merrier\, so please bring along your friends and family to get involved and have a great Sunday. \n\n\n\nWhat time does the ASICS London 10K finish\, and where?\n\n\n\nThe exact 2023 start time is still TBC. There is a race cut-off time of 1 hour and 45 minutes for each runner\, after which any runners still on the course will be asked to move to the pavements so that we can give Westminster residents their roads back! \n\n\n\nIs the ASICS London 10k route the same as the British 10k route? \n\n\n\nThe route will remain the same as the former event\, with plenty of entertainment and an exciting atmosphere route-wide. \n\n\n\nDoes any part of the entry fee go to charity?\n\n\n\nYour entry fee covers the staging of the event and third-party insurance. \n\n\n\nIs there a minimum age?\n\n\n\nThe minimum age for competitors is 16\, as long as you are 17 on or before 31st December 2023. \n\n\n\nHow do I get my ASICS London 10K race pack?\n\n\n\nRace Pack Delivery: \n\n\n\nYou can purchase race pack delivery upon registration\, so your race pack will be posted to you two weeks before the event. Your address must be up to date on your registration four weeks before the event for these to be sent to the correct place\, as we will not be able to re-send them. If you need to update your address\, please get in touch via hello@thelondon10k.com \n\n\n\nRace Pack Collection: \n\n\n\nIf you did not pay for race pack postage when registering\, you would need to collect your race pack from the collection point in the Festival Village or the London ASICS store before the event. Details about collection times will be shared shortly before the event. \n\n\n\nWhat if my race pack doesn’t arrive in the post?\n\n\n\nIf your pack doesn’t make it to you in the post\, you’ll need to collect a new race number from the collection point in the Festival Village or London ASICS store before the event. Details about collection times will be shared shortly before the event. \n\n\n\nWhat is in my race Pack?\n\n\n\nYour race pack will contain: \n\n\n\n– A race bib with a unique runner number and the chip which records the runner’s time. \n\n\n\nWe are encouraging participants to try to keep and reuse items such as safety pins from event to event. As a result\, we are no longer sending out safety pins in our Race Packs\, reducing the environmental impact of our event and as part of our broader sustainability manifesto. Please do your best to bring some with you on event day! \n\n\n\nFor anyone unable to bring their own safety pins\, we will have areas within the festival village to collect some. \n\n\n\nIs there a prize for winning?\n\n\n\nAs always\, we aim to create our events so they are fully inclusive and appeal to participants of all experiences and abilities. We are investing our resources into our overall event experience for our participants and engagement with the local community\, from hosting engaging route entertainment and festival village activities to improve the event’s sustainability and carbon footprint. This is all whilst continuing to deliver seamless race operations as part of a safe and enjoyable day for all taking part. \n\n\n\nWhilst we’re all about celebrating every single participant in the ASICS London 10K\, we still want to acknowledge the speedy performance of our race winners. We will therefore be offering prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd places in female\, male and racing wheelchair categories.
