SUMMARY:Bacchus Wine Half Marathon &10KM
DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday 10th September 2023 \n\n\n\nSet in stunning surroundings of the North Downs\, Bacchus has rapidly become one of the must-do events on the UK running calendar.  Most of the field turns out in fancy dress\, and bands and other musical entertainment are around the course. Still\, the drinks stations on the route separate Bacchus from other running races and epitomizes the event’s spirit. \n\n\n\nYou will have the chance to sample six fabulous award-winning English wines at five drinks stations along the course (you visit one station twice\, going out and coming back) with food and soft drinks to accompany them. If you are running 10K\, you’ll visit two of the wine stations. More food\, drink\, and music are waiting for you at the finish at the post-race hog roast\, where the party carries on long into the evening. \n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, there will be no Marathon in 2023. As numbers in the full Marathon distance start to dwindle we felt we could no longer fully support the marathon runners without compromising the Half Marathon or 10K. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSTART WAVES \n\n\n\nThere will be eleven start waves\, the first seven for the Half Marathon runners starting at 9:30 am. Subsequent waves will be set off in 10-minute intervals. There will be three 10K start waves starting at 10:40 am. You will need to pre-select your wave to be sure of starting with your friends. The children’s fun run has one start wave at 11:05 am.  \n\n\n\n09:30am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n09:40am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n09:50am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:00am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:10am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:20am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS  \n\n\n\n10:30am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:40am                10K RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:50am                10K RUNNERS \n\n\n\n11:00am                10K RUNNERS \n\n\n\n11:05am                FUN RUN \n\n\n\nTOILETS \n\n\n\nFor 2023\, as well as ample toilets in the car park and behind the main building at the start/finish area\, we will have portable toilets on the route at two different locations. \n\n\n\nBAGGAGE \n\n\n\nA secure baggage area is behind the main marquee to the right of Denbies’ main building. You will be asked to approach the start by walking through the marquee and will therefore pass the baggage area on your way to the start. After finishing\, reverse your direction and pass the baggage again before entering the marquee\, which hosts the post-race hog roast.  \n\n\n\nMUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT \n\n\n\nThere will be bands or musical entertainment at each of the drinks stations and at other sections of the course. A DJ will also be playing at The Hog Roast in the finish area.  \n\n\n\nHEADPHONE POLICY \n\n\n\nAs we are not running on any public highways (although there is one road to cross in two places)\, we allow headphones to be used. Still\, it is your responsibility to make sure you listen to any instructions from marshals\, and you wear headphones entirely at your own risk.

SUMMARY:13th Dartford Bridge 10k 24th September 2023
DESCRIPTION:Race day information for the 10th Bridge 10k.\n\n\n\nThank you for entering this year’s Dartford Bridge 10k. I really can’t believe it’s our 12th Anniversary race. \n\n\n\nParking will be in the Crosswater Lake View House\, Rennie Drive\, Dartford\, Kent\, DA1 5FU. There will be signs directing you to the race start. Please don’t leave any rubbish behind. They do have security cameras on site. \n\n\n\nRegistration is about 400m from the car park.  Keep off the fast track at all times\, as the buses are still using the road. Registration will open at 8:00 a.m.\, and we will start the run at 9:30 a.m. \n\n\n\nWe have real toilets and showers on site\, which are about 200m away next to the security office.  Please car share if you can as we have limited parking spaces. There will be bike racking next to registration for anyone cycling there. There will be a bag drop area to the left of the registration. We will have a tea wagon on site this year next to registration. There will be a short race brief over the PA\, but all you really need to know is the race brief. \n\n\n\nThe run course will be two laps around both lakes. We now feel it’s not safe to cross the road by the roundabout. The course gets checked every year and is 100% a 10k. Please don’t wear headphones. You will be crossing the FastTrack bus lane\, and you must listen to any instruction given to you by the marshals. \n\n\n\nThere will be a water station as you start the second lap and at the finish.
