DESCRIPTION:10 mile running event – 8th February 2026\nGet ready to go a little further in the next edition of Cattle Creep… A Little Further\, a unique and scenic 10-mile running event set in the beautiful parklands of North Milton Keynes. \nThis extended version of the original Cattle Creep 10K challenges runners with a stunning riverside route and features the iconic Cattle Creep tunnel – a low\, narrow passage under the Grand Union Canal that adds a fun and quirky twist to the course. Whether you’re building distance\, chasing a new personal best\, or simply running for the joy of it\, this event promises a memorable experience. \nPerfect for runners of all abilities\, the Cattle Creep 10-Miler is also dog-friendly\, so your four-legged running buddy can join in the fun too! \n\n\nWhat makes this 10-Miler race special?\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScenic Parkland Trails – Take in the peaceful\, green landscapes of Milton Keynes’ linear parks as you run along winding riverside paths and woodland tracks. \n\n\nThe Famous Cattle Creep Tunnel – Run through the event’s namesake – a dark\, narrow\, and slightly quirky tunnel that adds a distinctive twist to the course. \n\n\nDog-Friendly – Want to bring your dog along? They’re welcome too – just make sure they’re on a lead and start at the back for safety. \n\n\nAll Levels Welcome – Whether you’re chasing a 10-mile PB\, building up your endurance\, or simply running for fun\, this inclusive event welcomes all types of runners. \n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Information\n\n\n\n\nRace packs will need to be collected on the day from the registration tent at the venue. Registration will be open from 8am. \nThe race will start at 9am and has a cut-off of 3.5hrs (12:30). \nAbout a week before the event an Athlete Guide will be emailed to you with all the event info you will need. SUMMARY:Smurf Run
DESCRIPTION:About the event:\nCome and join Saturn Running for our Smurf Run\, who doesn’t love those little blue characters and therefore a medal reflecting how adorable they are! \nDate & time: Sunday 15th of February 2026\nOfficial start time: 9.30am \nLocation: Durham Amateur Rowing Club\, Green Ln\, Old Elvet\, Durham DH1 3JU \nThe £17.00 entry price is available only to members. You can become a member by logging into your profile and purchasing one of the membership schemes. As well as the cheapest entry price\, a member is guaranteed entry to the run and gets a mini-me medal pin at every event they attend! \nDistance & Time\nThis is a 7 hour Time Challenge event which allows you full control over the distance you want to run. The minimum distance is 3km\, which is part of a lap. A full lap is 4.37 miles or 7km (this is subject to change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions) and you can run as many\, or as few\, of these laps as you like subject to UK athletics age restrictions (please see the restrictions below). We will have a 3k turn point and 5k turn point within the lap which is available to allow our younger runners to comply with the UK Athletics distance rules. It is 3 laps for a half marathon\, 6 for a marathon and 7 or over for an ultra\, we also have a 50km distance available. \nCourse:\nThe course is along a beautiful stretch of the River Wear with views of the Cathedral and is classified as a trail run. It is fully signed so no navigational experience is required. \nAll abilities are welcome at our super-inclusive events and we also welcome walkers too. \nSpecial Event:\nIf our event is a special event for you\, for instance your 50th\, 99th\, 100th\, 150th\, 200th\, 250th etc. marathon or half marathon then please let us know. We will provide you with a great number with your name and the event date on it. \nVenue Facilities:\nToilets and changing facilities are available at the race HQ. Bag drop is near the start and finish area. Runners should be aware the bag drop is not staffed and items are left at the sole responsibility of the participant. No liability for lost items will be accepted by the Organiser. \nOther Information:\nThere will be somewhere to leave a bag at the start / finish area.
