DESCRIPTION:You’ll need to bring a head torch for this epic event in Woodbury. There’s something for the whole family with mixed and fun sections on the course and multiple races on offer. So lace up your running shoes and start the year right at the Battle of Woodbury Common 2021. \nHow to enter\nTickets available until Fri Jan 14 2022 \nWhat’s included: \n– Finisher’s medal\n– Chip timing\n– Fully marked course\, including lights\n– Feed station\n– Bottled water for finishers\n– Category prizes \nRoute description\nThe flat and varied routes will take in the lovely surroundings of Woodbury Common and Bicton College. Although runners may encounter some mud\, most of the courses will be run on well-drained\, sandy soil\, allowing runners to enjoy their running on flat and reliable surfaces. All the races will occur in the dark\, creating a wonderful and unique experience for all competitors. The courses will all be well marked with poles\, arrows and flashing lights. \nKids 1k and 2k \nBoth races will take part exclusively within the grounds of Bicton College. \n5k \nThe 5k route is new for 2022\, and although 3k of this race will take place on the tarmac\, it is on tranquil country lanes where there will be little to no traffic. The race will be a combination of these on-road sections and a few grand and varied off-road areas. \n10k \nThe 10k has the same start and finish as the 5k\, with the extra distance coming from a complete loop of Woodbury Common\, which includes a fun single track section. Running the circle of the Common in the dark will be a wonderful\, immersive experience for everyone taking part. \nHalf Marathon \nRunners taking on the Half Marathon will complete two loops of the great 10k course. DESCRIPTION:We are super excited to bring you a brand new run called our CheckPoint Run Challenge. A perfect way to be part of a live event (without any mass gathering!) \nBelow is a brief on how it works but sign up to our Richmond Upon Thames challenge. You choose what time you fancy starting your run (start can be any time between 8am and 10am) You decide which CheckPoint you want to start from! There typically is parking at each location. We will have event crew at each CheckPoint to support you\, check you in\, set you off!  \nThis is how it works – \n* On event day you can come to any of our set checkpoints and start at whichever one suits you.\n* You can start anytime between 8am and 10am\n* You can do the full circuit\, checkpoint A to B\, B to C\, C to A (remember you can start at any one and finish at any one) See race map visual for more info.\n* Or you could do for example\, B to C and C back to B\n* Typical distance for a full circuit will be around 10km and between each checkpoint about 3km or so\n* There’s no set route in between each checkpoint so you can either take our recommended route or choose your own\n* Live results will happen as you scan a QR code at each checkpoint and these results will go straight to our live leaderboard\n* Receive a stunning medal on completion

DESCRIPTION:The Paluma Dam Trail Run on Sunday\, 28 October 2018 starts and finishes at the village green in the Paluma township\, north west of Townsville\, Queensland. \nThere is an array of trails around the village crossing creek\, passing waterfalls and lookouts. Paluma is cooler than the coastal region and it makes for great trail running in October. \nThere is a 6km short course\, 10km intermediate course\, and 20km long course. Trail running comes with some risk\, running in the rain forest and on remote takes a certain skill and fitness level. Please make sure you are up to the distance you wish to run.
