The terrain is a mixture of tarmac paths and closed traffic-free roads.\nWhen you finish your race\, competitors must proceed into the finish line funnel to collect your finishers medal.\nAs one of the flattest courses in the UK\, this is a great chance to record a PB.\nHalf Marathon – 4.5 laps\n15k – 3 laps\n10k – 2 laps\n5k – 1 lap\nDuathlon:\nThese races are ideal for those looking to participate in their first duathlon event\, and Dorney Lake is the perfect venue.\nThere are three options to choose from:\nSuper Sprint Duathlon – 2.5k Run\, 10k Cycle\, 2.5k Run\nSprint Duathlon – 5k Run\, 20k Cycle\, 5k Run\nStandard Duathlon – 10k Run\, 40k Cycle\, 5k run \nWhat’s included\n– Finisher’s medal\n– Chip-timed\n– Bag drop\n– Refreshment stations\n– Aid stations\n– Marshalled course\n– Prizes for 1st\, 2nd\, 3rd overall Male and Female\, 1st Vet (40+) Male and Female \nEvent day logistics\n08:00 Standard Duathlon starts\n08:00 Sprint Duathlon starts\n08:00 Super Sprint Duathlon starts\n11:00 Half Marathon starts\n11:00 15k starts\n11:00 10k starts\n11:00 5k starts\nRegistration will take place by the main boathouse at the far end of the lake.\nBib Numbers\nAll bib and bike numbers will be collected on the day of registration. Nothing will be sent to participants in the post.\nPlease arrive at least 45 minutes before the start of the race to collect your race number and timing chip.\nBag Drop\nParticipants can leave essential belongings at race HQ. However\, a tear-off bag tag attached to bib numbers will need to be fixed to any bags left at the bag drop. All items are left at their own risk.\nWater Stations\nThere will be water stations on the run routes only. During the bike leg of the duathlons\, participants must carry water and anything else they’ll need with them.\nAge Requirements\nThe 5k is open to runners aged 11 and over\, the 10k\, Super Sprint\, and Sprint duathlons are available to participants aged 15 and over\, the 15k is open to runners aged 16 or over and the half marathon and Standard Duathlon are open to those aged 17 or over.\nHeadphones\nNoise-cancelling headphones/ earphones are strictly prohibited. All other types of listening devices are also banned for duathlons and are strongly discouraged for the lake runs – you should be aware of what’s going on around you and be able to hear encouragement and instructions from marshals.\nB\nThis event is suitable for wheelchair users. However\, please get in touch before the event if you require any specialist equipment or requirements.\nEntries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs\, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.\nResults\nYou can find your time online as soon as you’ve finished (internet connection permitting)\, and results will be sent out to participants within 24 hours after the event. \n     \nRace Organiser: F3Events
