SUMMARY:Devon Duathlon Autumn 2023
DESCRIPTION:OVERVIEW\n\n\n\n\nBicton College is a  stunning location for a duathlon\, with quiet local roads & trails and ample free parking. \nThe sprint duathlon\, a British Triathlon European qualifier for 2024\, starts with a 5k mixed terrain run. The bike is an anti-clockwise 22K loop on rolling roads. The final run is an accurately measured out & back 2.5K tarmac run on the first half of the 5k run course. If you’re competing in the qualifier\, you must register as a qualifier on the British Triathlon website. \nThe standard distance duathlon begins with a 10 km 2 lap run on tarmac & gravel paths. The bike leg is 43 km and is two laps of our sprint distance bike course on rolling roads. The Standard duathlon finishes with a final one-lap 5K. \nAll duathlons are non-drafting & run in accordance with the British Triathlon Federation rules. \nWe recommend first-timers read our Duathlon Tips. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWHAT YOU GET\n\n\n\n\n\nProfessional chip timing with transition splits\nMass start\nMedals for all finishers (new design)\nPrizes for category winners in 5-year age groups\nFull Covid-19 Risk Assessment & plan\nEvent caterers serving hot food & drinks\nFree Parking\nPublic liability insurance\nProfessional First Aid\n\n\n\nRACE STATS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSTANDARD DUATHLON|SUN 5 NOV \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n10 Km 2 lap run43 Km 2 lap bike5.6 Km 1 lap runAGE18+ on 31st Dec 2023Start Time: 7:50 amRegistration: 6:30 amCut Off Time: 12:00 pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSPRINT DUATHLON|SUN 5 NOV \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n5.6 Km 1 lap run22 Km 1 lap bike2.5 Km 1 lap runAGE15+ on 31st Dec 2023Start Time: 8:15 amRegistration: 6:30 amCut Off Time: 12:00 pm \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDEVON TRAIL RACES|SAT 5 NOV \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n10 Km\, Half Marathon & 5KSame venue on Sat 4th NovAGE16+ on race dayStart Time: 10:30 amRegistration from: 9:00 am \nFIND OUT MORE. \nEvent Information\n\n\nParking\n\n\n\nPlenty of free parking in the car park at the top of the drive on the right. \n\nMedals\n\nThere is a medal for all finishers.
