DESCRIPTION:Ipoh\, Perak\, Malaysia is going to have two great international athletes leading workshops and training camps for anyone interested in Triathlon.  Swimming Cycling and Running. \n  \nHi Everyone \nBelow is you’ll find the weekly training structure for our group and others that are bound to join. It will help develop us all for our goals moving forward even if your goal is just to be a healthier happier person J \nThese sessions start TOMORROW and I just want to run you through some key points on the plan. \nThe track session is a key session for the week and will develop your run technique and leg speed\, giving you tremendous pace awareness. The first session TOMORROW is an important session where I will test your aerobic capacity (or your run VO2 max)\, this can be done fairly accurately with a simple time trial and will provide paces which will really help each training phase. If you do own a pace watch PLEASE wear it to each session and I will provide you with your paces that we will be using after our simple test tomorrow. We meet at the polo ground run track (around the pond) at 7am sharp for a 1 hour session. \nSwim sessions are less than I would like at just two 1 hour sessions per week\, we should swim more than this and we eventually will\, but please attend these two sessions if possible and use the techniques learnt in your own sessions. Just pay your public entry fee at 8am to access the outside MBI pool\, PLEASE bring Fins\, Paddles\, Pull Buoy and kick board if you have them and if you do not PLEASE purchase them as you will not be able to participate in valuable drills without them! Head to the pool as quickly as possible so we can get in and secure a centre section of the pool in what is a public session. \nKelly’s Castle TT on Tuesday nights is both fun and a very valuable session we will meet at the Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu Temple next to Kellies Castle https://goo.gl/maps/8yAqnVkHmaE2 I have agreed parking here for all our participants\, but please kindly make a donation at the box inside the temple to show our appreciation for accepting us! These sessions WILL build speed and develop your threshold power through the season\, I can give you pointers on this\, but the fun bit is that all results will be entered onto a league table to provide end of year results which will result in prizes and awards for the most improved and fasted riders as well as some fun awards as well! The timing chip is mandatory only for competitive categories 8km (4km Ride + 4km Run) & 4km (2km Ride + 2km Run) and you will get your official timings and ranks. \nJUNIOR Duathlon Season 4 BIBS will be distributed only at the BIB EXPO\, date\, time and venue of which will be informed accordingly \nNo participant will be allowed inside the holding area without the running bib. No bibs or timing chips will be distributed on the main race day. \nOrganizers reserve the right to stop any participant who is found medically unfit in the opinion of the medical personnel present on the ground at the event. \nJUNIORUN reserves the right to ask for any documentation that may be required for verification and confirmation of the participant at any point in time. \nJUNIORUN reserves the right to disqualify a participant in case of any discrepancy being found in the application/documents or in the performance\, at any point in time. \nA charge of Rs. 50/- + GST per ticket will be applicable in case of the change in category of the race after registration. We would love you join us at this well-established and exceptional event on 27 May 2018. \nOur routes will be set in the beautiful surrounds of this historic stately school and in the scenic roads adjoining the estate. Our open water swim events will take place in the picturesque private lake. \nWe are pleased to offer our full range of sporting events from the children’s fun run right up to a Half Iron distance triathlon; there really is something for the whole family at a Hercules Festival of Sport. So why not make a day of it? Sign up your family or friends in a team for one of our many events in the Festival and make it a day to remember. \nAll our adult events are chip timed**\, professionally photographed and you will receive a finisher’s medal and a technical t-shirt for your participation. \nTriathlon\nWe are hosting four open water Triathlon distances at the Festival of Sport Northwood: \n• Novice – 400M/10K/2.5K\n• Sprint – 750M/20K/5K\n• Standard – 1500M/40K/10K\n• Half Iron – 1.9K/100K/20K (8 hour maximum completion time) \nEach wave will start with an ‘in water’ start in the large and sheltered Merchant Taylors private lake. The swim courses will be well marked and there will substantial water safety staff on hand and in the lake for safety and reassurance. After the swim\, it’s just a short dash to the Transition Zone\, which situated in a fully fenced and secure area adjacent to the lake. The bike leg will take you out on the picturesque Hertfordshire roads on interesting\, fast and challenging routes. The run leg is predominately flat and is set within the confines of the stunning Merchant Taylor grounds. The finish\, as always\, is in our sports village where you will receive a hero’s welcome over the line. \nMinimum Age: Novice and Sprint 15+\, Standard 16+ and Half Iron 18+ \nRun\nThere will be 3 run distances at the Hercules Festival of sport Northwood: 1.5K Fun Run\, 5K and 10K. \nWe have created interesting routes through the picturesque private Merchant Taylors’ grounds. Please note the following age restrictions for our run events below: \n• 1.5K -Everyone welcome\n• 5K -11 years +\n• 10K -11 years + \n**1.5K Fun Run is not a chip timed event \nCycling\nWe have an excellent out and back 100KM Cyclo Sportive on offer at the Hercules Festival of Sport Northwood: \n• 100 Kilometres \nOur route takes you out in to the outstanding Hertfordshire countryside\, and into neighbouring counties. Our route will be well marshaled and a feed station will be available on route. DESCRIPTION:Swiss City Marathon-Half Marathon-Duo Marathon\nThe SwissCityMarathon – Lucerne is the Marathon in Switzerland and takes place always on the last Sunday in October. The route leads from the Museum of Transport along Lake Lucerne\, around the Horw peninsula\, through the football stadium of FC Lucerne\, back in the city of Lucerne\, through the KKL Lucerne and the old town back to the finish in the Museum of Transport. The next SwissCityMarathon – Lucerne will take place on October 29\, 2017. \nClosing time\nClosing time is 12.15pm for Halfmarathon and 3.00 pm for Marathon and 10k. Runners who do not cross the finish line within the time limit will not be classified. Marathon runners who pass the turning point after 12.00 am have to end the race. The end of the official competition is determined by the broom wagon which is on the move in such a way that he arrives the finish line with the set time limit. Runners who are overtaken by the broom wagon\, have to hand over the bip to the correspondent staff and are no longer part of the official competition. \nTiming\nChips are used for time measurement. The race number must be visibly worn and unfolded on the front. \nIntermediate time\nKilometer 12.5 (Horw)\nKilometer 21.0975 (Halfmarathon)\nKilometer 34 (Horw) \nVictory ceremonies\nHalfmarathon – 11.00h\nMarathon-12.30h\nDuoMarathon – 13.15h\n10k – 14.15h \nThe ceremony is only for the overall winners. \nSecurity Instructions\nInstructions given by the race course personnel must be followed. Private escort of participants by all type of vehicles\, especially by bicycles or inline skates\, is not allowed. To carry a dog\, a pram etc. with one is not permitted. A general ban on driving applies to the whole race course. Any short cut from the race path and other illicit aids are forbidden. Participation in a wheelchair is not possible because of security reasons. The technical directors of the organising committee will make the final decisions for disqualifications. \nClothes\, Changing rooms\, Showers\nWill be at the “Schulhaus Würzenbach” close to the start- and finish area by the Museum of Transport. The bags of the 10k participants can be left at the changing rooms in Horw. They will be transferred to the finish in Lucerne (Changing rooms “Schulhaus Würzenbach”). \nToilets\nToilets are at the food and medical stations\, at start and finish area\, the changing rooms and by the entertainment areas

DESCRIPTION:Run 3miles  (4.82km) \, Bike 15miles (24.14km) \, Run 2miles (3.21km) \nEvent Overview\nThe event takes place on the magnificent closed road circuit surrounding the 2012 Olympic velodrome in the Velopark\, Stratford. \nThe purpose built circuit is 1mile in length. Depending upon entry number there could be two waves: Wave 1 registration from 09:30am\, Wave 2 registration from 13:00pm \nThe event format of run-bike-run\, starts with with a 3mile (3 lap) first run then a 15mile (15 lap) bike section before finishing with a 2mile (2 laps) final run. \nThe event is chip timed with medals for the places in 16-19years\, 20-39years\, 40-49years and 50+years age bands. Each particicpant will get a T-shirt as part of the entry fee. \nThe event is open to all ability levels and is both an ideal venue for your first duathlon whilst at the same time provides a challenge for the more experienced duathletes and triathletes. \nThere are changing and showering facilities as well as cafes on site. Providing the backdrop to the event is the London Aquatic Centre (used for the 2012 Olympic swimming events)\, the 2012 athletics Stadium and the ArcelorMittal Orbit and the vast Westfield shopping centre. \n
