DESCRIPTION:This is a small and deservedly popular and well established pool-based Triathlon event. The ethos of the event is very much taking part\, with a wide range of abilities taking part each year. Bute Triathlon is a novice and sprint triathlon in and around the town of Rothesay in the Clyde Estuary. Come join us for a fund weekend and a bit of sport. \nEvent momentos to all participants; fabulous buffet afterwards. Results will be posted online as soon as possible within 24 hours of the event. This is a great location and triathlon course\, with fabulous views on the cycle leg and a terrific run course…and a great atmosphere. Come on and sample the Isle of Bute!

SUMMARY:Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon consists of a 10km run followed by an 18km mountain bike around the flowing trails of the Galloway Forest Park in South West Scotland. \nThe run follows walkers paths and forest road\, with the mountain bike route sticking to the Seven Stanes Red route. (The Twister). \nThe start\, transition and finish will be at the Kirroughtree Visitor Centre. All routes will be signed\, supported by marshals with radio coverage and mobile first aid. Chip timing with split run bike times. \nTeam options:\nIndividual male/female or team of two\, male/female/mixed\, one runner and one biker. \nEntrants wishing to withdraw must inform the organiser by email. Entry fees will be refunded as follows. Up to one month before the event date\, cost of entry minus £5. Within one month of the event date no refunds available. Transfer of entry is available within the month before the event date. This must be done by email. \nEntrants must be aged 16 or over. On May 28\, 2017 Tim Don posted the incredible 7:40:23 finishing time and broke the World record. Many athletes did also break their personal records turning the race into one of the fastest in the world. \nCalled “the place to be” and “a mixture of St. Tropez and Ibiza without the attitude” by the New York Times\, Florianopolis\, Brazil on the Island of Santa Catarina boasts world-class entertainment\, beaches and restaurants. The sun-soaked stretches of coastline in “Floripa\,” as locals affectionately call it\, make up forty-two beaches in total. Athletes lining up for the event will find themselves in a sanctuary for sports\, natural life and tourism from around the globe. \nThe 2.4-mile mass swim start is located at Jurere Internacional Beach – in front of La Serena Restaurant. DESCRIPTION:EpicMan is the ultimate middle distance (half Iron) triathlon\, based at YMCA Lakeside\, on the shore of Lake Windermere. The 1.9km Swim takes place in the clear waters of Lake Windermere and is a single lap course. SUMMARY:Tallington Lakes Triathlon 2020
DESCRIPTION:Race while enjoying the beautiful rural beauty in the East Midlands. \nChoose from a SuperSprint\, Sprint or Olympic distance not forgetting the addition of Tallington Lakes Aquathlon & Aquabike  – race over the Sprint and Olympic distances with just a swim & run OR a swim & bike. \nThe swim is set in one of the beautiful\, clean\, spring fed lakes (Wet suits are optional). Swim to either the first\, second or third boye. The new bike entry / exit out of the venue now completely avoids the busy entrance of the Water Park and now brings you out from the side of the park onto Kings Street. The SuperSprint and the Sprint have a 1 lap course. The Olympic follows the Sprint course over 2 laps. The SuperSprint remains fairly flat\, whilst the Sprint and the Olympic have a little more elevation\, yet still takes in some beautiful scenery. Staying within the private park\, the run follows the road running past the sailing centre with lakeside views. Brought to you by the organisers of the 2015 Most Enjoyable Event and the 2016 Event of the Year\, Monifieth Triathlon Club (2017 Club of the Year) \nThe 400m swim in the calm waters of Monikie Park’s north pond\, followed by an opportunity to sample some beautiful scenery with views over Angus and the River Tay during a 12km cycle on quiet country roads round the park\, finishing with a fast 2.5km run around the South ponds of the park makes for a scenic and enjoyable race. Coupled with an amazing post race feast. It would be a brilliant way for novices to transition from pool triathlons to Open water. \n𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙈𝙞𝙭𝙚𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨\nOur Mixed Team Relay event\, aimed at ages 15+ will take place in and around Monikie Park in a safe and fun environment and is a fantastic spectator event for everyone to enjoy. The Team Relay takes place directly after the completion of the Tri Stars and Youth event and requires 4 team mates to take part . Each athlete completes a 300m open water swim\, 5km bike and 1.25km run before handing their chip over to their next team member. The final team member completes the event by crossing the finish line. The fastest team on the day wins! \nSWIM : The swim will take place from the beach in the north pond\, following a simple 300m course before exiting up the sluice and up the banking before running into T1. This will be a fast course with athletes entering the water continuously throughout the event as each of their team mates passes them their timing chip at the beach changeover. \nBike : The bike starts off at the main transition area before exiting via the south gate\, looping around the outer perimeter of the park in a counter clockwise direction before reentering the park via the south gate. The Team Relay event takes place on open roads however is heavily marshaled as this is a fast and furious event. Athletes only need to complete one single loop of the bike course \nRun : The last leg of the event takes place on the paths between the North and South ponds with the athletes running a fast out and back loop\, The first three of each team will return to the beach changeover zone and the last athlete of each team will finish by running through the finish arch \n𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙠𝙞𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙣\nOur Tristars events\, aimed at children aged 9-14 will take place in and around Monikie Park in a safe and fun environment. \nTristars 1 – Ages 9-10\nTristars 2 – Ages 11-12\nTristars 3 – Ages 13-14 \nSWIM : The swim will take place from the beach in the north pond\, following a safe sheltered course before returning to the beach and into T1 located nearby. SUMMARY:Eastbourne Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne welcomes athletes back for the Eastbourne Triathlon on the 14th June 2020. The 2020 event will once again feature a standard distance race alongside the established sprint distance event. Athletes of all abilities and experience\, from novice to elite\, can sign up to take on the challenge. Starting from the lifeguard’s beach\, triathletes will take on an iconic route\, swimming against the backdrop of the historic Eastbourne pier\, cycling the roads through the South Downs National Park via Beachy Head and running on the iconic promenade to Holywell\, before finishing on the Western Lawns. \nThe sprint distance event is ideal for novice triathletes\, consisting of a 750m swim\, 18.3km cycle and a 5km run.
