DESCRIPTION:Discover the charm and tropical beauty of Florianopolis while racing to the finish. \nIRONMAN Brazil offers a fast and scenic course\, which have been attracting athletes from all over the world for over 17 years. On May 28\, 2017 Tim Don posted the incredible 7:40:23 finishing time and broke the World record. Many athletes did also break their personal records turning the race into one of the fastest in the world. \nCalled “the place to be” and “a mixture of St. Tropez and Ibiza without the attitude” by the New York Times\, Florianopolis\, Brazil on the Island of Santa Catarina boasts world-class entertainment\, beaches and restaurants. The sun-soaked stretches of coastline in “Floripa\,” as locals affectionately call it\, make up forty-two beaches in total. Athletes lining up for the event will find themselves in a sanctuary for sports\, natural life and tourism from around the globe. \nThe 2.4-mile mass swim start is located at Jurere Internacional Beach – in front of La Serena Restaurant. SUMMARY:EpicMan Windermere Triathlons
DESCRIPTION:EpicMan is the ultimate middle distance (half Iron) triathlon\, based at YMCA Lakeside\, on the shore of Lake Windermere. The 1.9km Swim takes place in the clear waters of Lake Windermere and is a single lap course. The 90km cycle takes place on undulating roads around the South Lakes and the half marathon follows the Windermere YMCA trails for a scenic Lakeside course. \nIf you’re not up for the middle distance\, we also have a standard distance course (1500m / 40k / 10k) on the same day. Brought to you by the organisers of the 2015 Most Enjoyable Event and the 2016 Event of the Year\, Monifieth Triathlon Club (2017 Club of the Year) \nThe 400m swim in the calm waters of Monikie Park’s north pond\, followed by an opportunity to sample some beautiful scenery with views over Angus and the River Tay during a 12km cycle on quiet country roads round the park\, finishing with a fast 2.5km run around the South ponds of the park makes for a scenic and enjoyable race. Coupled with an amazing post race feast. It would be a brilliant way for novices to transition from pool triathlons to Open water. \n𝙎𝙘𝙤𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙈𝙞𝙭𝙚𝙙 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨\nOur Mixed Team Relay event\, aimed at ages 15+ will take place in and around Monikie Park in a safe and fun environment and is a fantastic spectator event for everyone to enjoy. The Team Relay takes place directly after the completion of the Tri Stars and Youth event and requires 4 team mates to take part . Each athlete completes a 300m open water swim\, 5km bike and 1.25km run before handing their chip over to their next team member. The final team member completes the event by crossing the finish line. The fastest team on the day wins! \nSWIM : The swim will take place from the beach in the north pond\, following a simple 300m course before exiting up the sluice and up the banking before running into T1. This will be a fast course with athletes entering the water continuously throughout the event as each of their team mates passes them their timing chip at the beach changeover. \nBike : The bike starts off at the main transition area before exiting via the south gate\, looping around the outer perimeter of the park in a counter clockwise direction before reentering the park via the south gate. The Team Relay event takes place on open roads however is heavily marshaled as this is a fast and furious event. Athletes only need to complete one single loop of the bike course \nRun : The last leg of the event takes place on the paths between the North and South ponds with the athletes running a fast out and back loop\, The first three of each team will return to the beach changeover zone and the last athlete of each team will finish by running through the finish arch \n𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙠𝙞𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙡𝙤𝙣\nOur Tristars events\, aimed at children aged 9-14 will take place in and around Monikie Park in a safe and fun environment. \nTristars 1 – Ages 9-10\nTristars 2 – Ages 11-12\nTristars 3 – Ages 13-14 \nSWIM : The swim will take place from the beach in the north pond\, following a safe sheltered course before returning to the beach and into T1 located nearby. DESCRIPTION:The beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne welcomes athletes back for the Eastbourne Triathlon on the 14th June 2020. The 2020 event will once again feature a standard distance race alongside the established sprint distance event. Athletes of all abilities and experience\, from novice to elite\, can sign up to take on the challenge. Starting from the lifeguard’s beach\, triathletes will take on an iconic route\, swimming against the backdrop of the historic Eastbourne pier\, cycling the roads through the South Downs National Park via Beachy Head and running on the iconic promenade to Holywell\, before finishing on the Western Lawns. \nThe sprint distance event is ideal for novice triathletes\, consisting of a 750m swim\, 18.3km cycle and a 5km run. DESCRIPTION:Ireland’s premier sprint distance triathlon. Swim from the mainland to the island\, cycle around the island and finish with a run to the slate quarry and back. Valentia Island is one of Ireland’s most westerly points. It lies off the Iveragh Peninsula in the southwest of County Kerry. It is linked to the mainland by the Maurice O’Neill Memorial Bridge at Portmagee. Simply beautiful! \nSwim\nThe swim will begin from Renard pier. Known as the capital of triathlon in Germany\, this dynamic event features an unforgettable finish in the famous Town Hall market square. \nThis race offers 40 qualifying slots for the 2020 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona\, Hawai’i. \n \n  \nThe one-loop 3.8 km (2.4 mile) ROKA swim course offers a first glimpse of this stunning race in Hamburg\, which many consider Germany’s “Gate to the World”. The course leads from the Jungfernstieg jetty through the Binnenalster and the Außenalter lakes. \nThe new two-loop 180.2 km (112 mile) Ventum bike course is fast and flat with a short climb at the Köhlbrandbrücke bridge. It leads athletes out of the city and towards the idyllic Vier- und Marschlande region. Crazy crowds await you at the Zollenspieker Fährhaus! \nThe four-loop 42.2 km (26.2 mile) HOKA One One run course was made for fast run times as it takes athletes through the city of Hamburg and into the heart of the harbour. SUMMARY:Porthcawl Standard Distance Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The aim of the event is to give like minded people the opportunity to race in a high quality standard distance event (Olympic) on the fabulous South Wales coast line. The swim is in the sheltered bay of Coney Beach. The race starts with an Aussie beach start with a two lap swim\, bike and run. This makes the event spectator friendly with continuous support along the course. \n  \nSwim \nDistance = 1500mtrs \nThe swim will take place in the sheltered bay of Coney Beach. The start will be an exciting Aussie beach start and consist of two laps of 750 metres exiting the water after each lap. We aim to make the swim as spectator friendly as possible with the two laps exiting the water with a short run on the Beach before commencing the second lap. \n \n  \nCycle \nDistance = 40k \nThe cycle route is 40 km over a two lap undulating circuit with excellent road surface. It will follow the natural coastline towards Rest Bay before heading inland and encorporating the climbs of Dan-Y-Graig hill and Stormy Down. There will be a Prime for KOM on Danygraig Hill. \n \n  \nRun \nDistance = 10K \nThe run course is flat and over two laps following the spectacular South Wales coastline.
