You can choose the Ultimate 112 miles\, the Half 56 miles\, or the Quarter at 28 miles. \nSUNDAY is the UK ULTIMATE RUN around Alderford and out onto closed country roads. SUMMARY:Outlaw X 2021
DESCRIPTION:Launched as a celebration of 10 years of Outlaw\, Outlaw X takes competitors in and around the stunning grounds of Thoresby Park. So whether this is your first or fiftieth triathlon\, the atmosphere and picturesque views are something not to be missed\, so come and have fun and break records at the Outlaw X 2021. \nRoute description\nSwim \nStart the event right with a swim in the unspoilt\, private lake within Thoresby Park grounds. Swimmers will start in a waved format with a deep water start as they swim 1.2 miles in a single loop. \nBike \nThe single-loop bike ride takes entrants through stunning Nottinghamshire countryside\, including Walesby Forest and Clumber Park. The highest point of the course comes at mile 51\, with approximately 2000ft of climbing. The rest of the route is host to a few climbs followed by plenty of long\, fast sections. \nRun \nFinally\, it’s onto the run section of the event\, with 2 loops of the off-road course. Undulating in a few sections but with plenty of stunning views of Thoresby Hall\, the course meanders into some private woodlands before heading to the finish line for that photo finish. \nLogistics and schedule\nSaturday \n10:00 – 16:00 Registration opens \nSunday \n07:10 Outlaw X starts \nAll timings are subject to change. \nRace Packs \nRace packs will be posted to entrants before the event. If your race pack does not arrive by the Wednesday before the event\, please contact the event organiser. \nKit List \nWetsuits are compulsory for the event. Sleeveless wetsuits are accepted\, but one must be worn\, or entrants will not be permitted to participate. \nCompetitors can wear standard running or racing shoes. \nCut-off Times \nThere are cut-off times for each section of the event\, which are as follows: \nSwim – 1 hour 10 mins after your wave start\nBike – 5 hours 20 mins after your wave start\nRun – 9 hours after your wave start\nRunners falling too far behind will be asked to stop\, and all entrants must be ahead of the cut-off time at all times during the race. \nElite Entry \nYou need to have evidence of being capable of sub 5 hours if you’re a woman or sub 4:30 if you’re male. \nIf the event isn’t sold out\, you can enter via the event entry system and select ‘elite wave’ during the process. The organisers will review the names in this entry list to ensure that athletes meet the minimum criteria. However\, if the event is sold out\, don’t hesitate to contact the organisers via info@osbevents.com\, and they will do their best to accommodate you if there is space. \nPlease note\, athletes entered in the Elite wave are not eligible for Age Group prizes. \nDrafting \nEntrants are asked not to ride dangerously or draft to ensure all those at the event. SUMMARY:ULTRA X JORDAN - Ultra Marathon October 2021
DESCRIPTION:Ultra X Jordan (previously the Wadi Rum Ultra) takes place in the land of Lawrence of Arabia. The mystical desert course takes competitors past historic sites\, into dramatic wadis and over magnificent sand dunes. \nWadi Rum’s nickname is “The Valley of the Moon” and participants will quickly see why. Its landscape\, characterised by unique towering rock formations\, is truly mind-blowing\, as is the challenge. As locations go\, this place is unrivalled in its beauty. \nWe are dreaming of the desert! \nDid you know that Ultra X Jordan was our first event? From 2016 to 2018 it was called the Wadi Rum Ultra. In 2017\, Sam and Jamie (the co-founders) met\, Sam was running and Jamie was the Race Director! The two got on and the rest is history! \nHere is why we think you should be joining us this October: \n1) The Course \nOur race course\, which changes slightly each year will take participants on a grand tour of Wadi Rum’s protected region. You’ll pass through canyons\, dried up riverbeds and occasionally over big sand dunes. \n2) The History \nThe desert is steeped in history. Wadi Rum may be best known for its connection with British Army officer T. E. Lawrence aka Lawrence of Arabia\, who passed through several times during the Arab Revolt of 1917–18. \nIf Wadi Rum isn’t enough for you\, the opportunity to visit the Lost City of Petra on the Saturday after the race certainly will be. \nPetra will take your breath away. The area is thought to have been inhabited from as early as 7000 BC and was once a major regional trading hub used by the Nabataean people. For the film buffs among you\, it’s fame was amplified in Indiana Jones\, The Last Crusade \n  \n\n\n\n\nMEDAL RIBBONS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll finishers will receive a race medal. DESCRIPTION:Dirt Duathlon is a series like no other! We are made up of 3 mini adventure races (approx. 3 – 4 hrs. depending on how fast you are!) between June and August. You and your team can enter 1\, 2 or all three events. You train over winter. Why not race over winter too? \nIn teams of 2\, 3 4\, you can enter 1\, 2 or all three events on foot and bike\, experiencing the Big Bang Dirt Duathlon in the day or by night! \nRaces 1 and 2 will allow you to explore your adventure racing skills during daylight hours and progress in difficulty. Race 3 will test these skills to the max – in the dark! \nWe like to spread the love\, so the events are held between the Wellington\, Kapiti and Horowhenua regions. \n​\nWe know that’s how you like to roll to keep things easy. The day events will start at 10 am to have a lie-in. The night event will begin at 7 pm.

The day events will start at 10 am to have a lie-in. The night event will begin at 7 pm.

DESCRIPTION:Eton Sprints Weekend| Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 May 2023\nThe Eton Sprints are the traditional start of the triathlon season\, welcoming competitors and supporters to Dorney Lake annually every May. The core distance options available are usually Sprint and SuperSprint. It’s the first of three events in the Dorney Lake series\, followed by Banana (1 July 2023) and Season Finale (17 September 2023). The series is organised by Human Race\, who have over 30 years of experience in putting on high-quality\, enjoyable\, and safe triathlon events. \nWhere is the event?\nDorney Lake in Eton\, just to the west of London\, is the ideal setting for a triathlon. The 2012 London Olympic venue attracts thousands of triathletes a year with it’s clear\, calm\, clean water to swim in and flat\, car-free bike and run course. \nWhen is the event?\nEton Sprints 2023 takes place on Saturday 13th\, and Sunday 14th May. \nDistances\n  \nEvent Registration\nREGISTRATION MARQUEE OPEN FROM 07:15 \nRegister and collect your race pack\, which has the following: \n\nRace numbers to be pinned to your front or on a race belt so you can easily switch it from rear for the bike course to the front for the run course\nNumbered wristband for transition entrance/exit. This will be removed by our crew when you leave transition with your bike and kit for the last time.\nSticky numbers for the front of your helmet and bike\nTiming Chip – Velcro strap needs to be collected before leaving the registration marquee\n\nTo collect your event pack\, you MUST show a photo ID and your registration QR code. Please ensure you have registered a minimum of 1 hour before your wave. Please attach all numbers before entering the transition. Bikes are racked by wave. \nElectronic Timing\nYour electronic timing chip should be securely fastened to your left ankle. To attach\, fasten the Velcro thread around your ankle. Once attached\, please DON’T remove it until you have completed your Triathlon. We will endeavour to provide all timing splits\, but this is not guaranteed. Lost chip charge is £35\, so secure it well. We will collect it at the finish line. \nPLEASE NOTE: Only competitors are allowed in the transition area. You will be given a security-numbered wristband attached at registration. This wristband allows access in/out of the transition area and may only be removed by crew checking your equipment on final departure from Transition. \nCOURSE INFO\n\nON COURSE HYDRATION: There will be one drinks station at the half-way point of the run course. All athletes should be self-sufficient and bring water / drinks with them for both your bike and run sections.\n\nFINISH LINE: The finish line will be self-service – please collect your Medal\, Water\, SIS product and Erdinger Alkoholfrei from the tables keeping your distance from others. Please collect your bike and equipment from transition promptly to enable crew to clean the racking prior to subsequent waves using it. \nEVENT RULES\n\nNo mobile phones\, personal stereos\, MP3 players or iPods to be used in Transition or during the event itself at any time.\nIt is forbidden to mark your position in Transition.\nYour cycle helmet is to be on and fastened before you touch your bike and remain on and done up until after your bike is racked.\nIt is forbidden to cycle in Transition.\nDisc brakes are allowed in triathlons and duathlons.\nDrafting* is forbidden on the bike.\n\nFor more information and the latest rules\, visit the BTF Website.\n*Drafting is cycling too closely behind another cyclist and gaining an advantage. The drafting zone is 10m\, so keep at least 10m behind the cyclist in front unless you are overtaking over a 20 second period.
