This is in response to feedback that some participants are interested in the challenge\, but not so interested in being timed\, or being listed in results. You will still be issued with a dibber (for safety purposes)\, but we won’t publish your result\, we will just list you as finishing. Just select the Non-Competitive option on Entry Central to sign up to this wave. \nFinally\, A Greener Aviemore Triathlon!\nFeed station cups are our biggest source of waste. So we’re stopping using them. Completely. There will be no cups at feed stations. You need to bring your own or\, if you don’t have one\, we’ll provide you with a re-usable soft folding cup with your race entry in 2020. You will need to carry this with you and use it on the course if you wish to use feed stations. \nT-shirts: some of you love them and some of you don’t. DESCRIPTION:The World’s Largest Junior Triathlon \nHever Castle Triathlon has established itself as an essential destination for British and international triathletes and the mainstream media\, for its picture postcard venue\, elite action\, age-group choice and festival atmosphere. Put simply\, instant classic doesn’t do the Hever Castle Triathlon justice. \nSibling bonding\, friendship and sporting camaraderie are the theme at the Hever Castle Triathlon. The World’s largest children’s triathlon continues the Brownlee spirit\, with a festival of sport at the historical Kentish and iconic venue. \nAs in previous years\, the children’s races are split over two days (8-10 year olds on Saturday afternoon and 11-15 year olds on Sunday afternoon). \nThe races will again commence with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden\, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent\, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\, and up to the stunning Ashdown forest for the longer distance races. SUMMARY:Ludlow Sprint Tri 2020
DESCRIPTION:400m swim – 26km bike – 6.25 km run \nA partnership between local volunteer groups\, Ludlow Runners\, Ludlow Cycling Club and Teme Leisure\, the Ludlow Sprint Triathlon has been going since 1996 which makes this year its 22nd year.  Situated at the northern edge of town\, Ludlow Leisure Centre is just off the A49 and along side LudlowSecondary School. The swim will take place in the 25-metre pool in the Leisure Centre\, with Transition situated to the rear of the building\, access through reception and down the corridor. The cycle will be through part of the town\, out onto country roads before returning to the centre on the A49. During a big part of the swim\, you will swim close to the coast\, which makes the swim course really accessible for spectators. \nThe way to T1 is something really special. The two-laps bike course starts with the flat part of the course through Budva and Bečići. After passing these two cities\, the bike course will become more hilly. DESCRIPTION:The World’s Highest Extreme Triathlon in Nepal began in the Himalayans. \nThe Roof Of The World\nHimalayanXtri is a new extreme long-distance triathlon to come to Nepal in South Asia and the first in the region as part of the XTRI World Tour. \nNepal embodies the very definition of the words extreme and diverse. Home to the great Himalayas and 8 of the world’s top 10 highest mountains\, giant glaciers\, subtropical forests\, and sweeping arid deserts. It is about the closeness of sharing the day with your support and crew. It is about community. But never forget. This race is seriously extreme. Nothing in Nepal is flat! \n  \n3.8km swim\, 175km bike\, 43km run \n4\,000m highest point\n 8\,800m overall elevation gain\nSwim \nThe 3.8km swim will start at 04.00 at Lake Phewa\, Pokhara. It will be a night swim and will require wetsuits. The water will be about 15 degrees Celsius. \nBike\nThe 175km road bike ride is all on asphalt but will  not be suitable for TT bikes. Overall course elevation gain is 5\,260m.  T1 is at 800m altitude.  Highest point is 1\,740m. \nRun\nThe 43km run is entirely off-road. T2 starts at 1\,740m. DESCRIPTION:What: \nThis is a team event. A team consists of three people only. You must enter your team into one of two disciplines. These are; \n– On Foot (running/walking)\n– Cycling \nYour team cannot mix disciplines (ie if you enter your team ‘On Foot’\, none of your team can cycle and vice versa). \nYou and your team must then see how many kilometers you can clock up between dawn and dusk. For the purposes of making this inclusive to all those around the world\, the start and finish times are set at 06:00 (6am) and 18:00 (6pm)\, wherever you are taking on the challenge. You have 12 hours to go as far as you can. Your total distance will be the sum of the distance covered by all three of your team members. \nExample: \nStefan\, Mary and Jan cover 22km\, 45km and 92km on foot. Their total distance and the one submitted to Ultra X will be 159km. \nWhen: \n #Dawn2Dusk will take place on Saturday 13th March 2021. \nAs this is a truly global challenge we want to ensure that as many people around the planet can take part. The challenge is from dawn to dusk! All competitors will swim 16 lengths which total 400m. \nBike Route \nThis 20km cycle will take you out\, and then back towards race HQ. On the return to Honiton\, competing cyclists will return to the transition area by turning left at the Fire Station onto Northcote Lane. \nRun Route \nThis scenic 5k run will take you over the River Otter and up into Combe Hill Woods. DESCRIPTION:The 2021 Dartford Bridge Triathlon will take place on the 27th June.\nAs things stand as of now the 2021 race will now be run safely under covid19 rules. This means a competitor will start every 10 seconds. The race is now limited to 200 entries. This is the only way the race can take place safely.\nWe have now run 7 events successfully following covid19 safety rules.\nThe early bird entry ends on the 1st January. Due to covid19 and we have had to reduce the size of the race the entry fee will be going up on January the 1st. \nThis will be our first price increase in 12 years.
