DESCRIPTION:Mixed Team Relay Triathlon is the latest format of triathlon and will feautre in the Tokoyo Olympics for the first time in 2020! Teams of 4 athletes (2 male\, 2 female) race back to back mini triathlons of 250m Swim\, 10km Bike and a 1500m Run (each athlete races each discipline before tagging their next team mate). \nFast\, Furious and Fun with lashings of team spirit thrown in to the mix! \nWho will be crowned Evolve Mixed Team Relay Champs in 2020? \nHow entry works; \nOnly the Team Captain needs to sign up for the event and pay the team entry fee. You will need to enter the details of your team members when you register. The team must consist of 2 males and 2 females and can be of mixed age. The race order will go female\, male\, female\, male. SUMMARY:Swedeman Xtreme Triathlon 2020
DESCRIPTION:SWIM UNDER SWEDEN’S LARGEST WATERFALL\nBIKE THROUGH THE NORTHERN WILDERNESS\nAND FINISH ON TOP OF ÅRESKUTAN\n  \nBased out of Åre\, Swedeman is an official member of the XTRI World Tour. The XTRI family is growing and you can join too. The race offers this stunning course to the Swedish and international audience. Enter the 250 km distance triathlon before slots run  out. There are 250 slots available on a first come-first served basis. \n  \n\n\nSWIM:\nEncounter undercurrents and temperature changes to keep you alert and on your toes!\n3.8 kilometers in Öster-Noren\, finishing under Sweden’s largest waterfall. Average water temperature for August should be around 13 degrees Celsius. Athletes will run up a steep 400 m long track to access T1 above the waterfall. \n\n\n\n\nSWIM COURSE\n\n\n\n\nBIKE:\nThe road to the wilderness! Travel 205 kilometers from Tännforsen. along an incredible course with hill after hill after hill\, totaling nearly 2000m of ascent. You will likely encounter large wildlife including reindeer and moose so be careful out there! \n\n\n\n\nBIKE COURSE\n\n\n\n\n\nRUN:\nApprox 2000 metres of ascent\, tough terrain and some fabulous views.\nFrom T2 the run starts on a short section of gravel road before turning west onto forest paths and technical trails on the south side of Totthummeln towards Åre village.\nClimbing up towards Lillskutan you will run above the tree line for the first time during the run. This section has some fantastic singletrack that will allow for great views if the weather is clear. In the distance\, in northwest\, you can see the finish line just below Åreskutan. But that’s for later! There can be fields of snow on the trail or right next to it\, which can make for\nan icy run. On the top of Lillskutan the course turns east and then keeps climbing north on a snowmobile track. \nThe last 10 kilometres you will need to be accompanied by your support runner – it is steep and you will be tired. \nThe total climb from T2A to the top of Åreskutan is 1000 meters. Passing the top of Åreskutan and\nToppstugan\, the tiny waffle house\, may give you a view over Åre village below and the mountain ranges in the distance\, if the weather cooperates. Whether it’s your first triathlon or you’re trying to qualify for the British Age-Group Team\, we guarantee you’ll enjoy this fantastic venue. \nThe swim takes place in the beautiful clean waters of the River Ouse\, with a simple out and back course followed by a one or two lap bike course that takes you through some of the most scenic villages in the area. Although undulating this course with its smooth roads and downhill last 5 miles will see some fast times. The run is a two or four lap course around the Riverside Park that loops past the finish area on your  laps so your friends and family can support and cheer you on. The venue offers camping and ample free car-parking\, so it’s an ideal event to bring the family to as they’ll get to see you swim\, bike and run as well as have the opportunity to enjoy the park environment. This is in response to feedback that some participants are interested in the challenge\, but not so interested in being timed\, or being listed in results. You will still be issued with a dibber (for safety purposes)\, but we won’t publish your result\, we will just list you as finishing. Just select the Non-Competitive option on Entry Central to sign up to this wave. \nFinally\, A Greener Aviemore Triathlon!\nFeed station cups are our biggest source of waste. So we’re stopping using them. Completely. There will be no cups at feed stations. You need to bring your own or\, if you don’t have one\, we’ll provide you with a re-usable soft folding cup with your race entry in 2020. You will need to carry this with you and use it on the course if you wish to use feed stations. \nT-shirts: some of you love them and some of you don’t. DESCRIPTION:The World’s Largest Junior Triathlon \nHever Castle Triathlon has established itself as an essential destination for British and international triathletes and the mainstream media\, for its picture postcard venue\, elite action\, age-group choice and festival atmosphere. Put simply\, instant classic doesn’t do the Hever Castle Triathlon justice. \nSibling bonding\, friendship and sporting camaraderie are the theme at the Hever Castle Triathlon. The World’s largest children’s triathlon continues the Brownlee spirit\, with a festival of sport at the historical Kentish and iconic venue. \nAs in previous years\, the children’s races are split over two days (8-10 year olds on Saturday afternoon and 11-15 year olds on Sunday afternoon). \nThe races will again commence with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden\, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent\, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\, and up to the stunning Ashdown forest for the longer distance races. DESCRIPTION:400m swim – 26km bike – 6.25 km run \nA partnership between local volunteer groups\, Ludlow Runners\, Ludlow Cycling Club and Teme Leisure\, the Ludlow Sprint Triathlon has been going since 1996 which makes this year its 22nd year.  Situated at the northern edge of town\, Ludlow Leisure Centre is just off the A49 and along side LudlowSecondary School. The swim will take place in the 25-metre pool in the Leisure Centre\, with Transition situated to the rear of the building\, access through reception and down the corridor. The cycle will be through part of the town\, out onto country roads before returning to the centre on the A49. It’s located in the central part of the Montenegrin coast and it is the center of Montenegro tourism. The area surrounding Budva is called the Budva Riviera. Part of Budva Riviera are also Bečići\, Sveti Stefan and Petrovac\, smaller tourist towns. The towns of the Riviera boast cobbled streets\, medieval towers\, imposing battlements\, formidable city walls and charming terracotta rooftops mixed with the more contemporary restaurants\, bars and modern\, luxury\, up-market boutiques. \nBehind the hotels\, business- and residential buildings\, closer to the sea\, there are a multitude of hidden places nestling close to the villages. During the swimming segment\, athletes will -on one side- have views on the beautiful walls of the Old Town\, while on the other side their views will extend towards the blue open sea. During a big part of the swim\, you will swim close to the coast\, which makes the swim course really accessible for spectators. \nThe way to T1 is something really special. Athletes will go through the narrow and paved streets of Old Town\, where the transition area is located under the city walls. \nThe Montenegrin coast is considered one of the most beautiful coasts on the Adriatic. The two-laps bike course starts with the flat part of the course through Budva and Bečići. After passing these two cities\, the bike course will become more hilly. In this part of the course you will bike along the famous Sveti Stefan and Petrovac\, a fisherman village\, were you’ll have stunning views of the environment. \nThe final part of the race\, the two-laps run course- starts in the harbour and leads the athletes to Slovenska Beach. There you will enter one of the best parts of the run course: the pedestrian tunnel which connects Budva and Bečići. On the run you’ll pass all different things from small fishing boats and palm trees to a Mediterranean promenade. These are just some of the details that adorn this course. DESCRIPTION:The Osprey Sprint “Spring Race” is set to put good use to those winter months of training before the first open water swim events. \nThis is a perfect event for newcomers to the sport of triathlon and a fantastic start to the season for the more experienced athlete. The facilities at the Osprey Centre are perfect for a pool based triathlon with secure racking for the bikes\, chip timing by FullOnSport\, a beautiful and scenic bike ride and a fantastic flat off-road coastal run. \nThe Legacy cafe will be open during the event for spectators and competitors alike. \nPlease make sure you input your estimated swim time as accurately as possible when going through the online entry system as this will decide your swim group start time. This race will be chip timed so there will be NO wave starts. Each competitor will start 10 seconds after each other in one continual wave in the pool. \nAll information will be emailed out to you\, everything you need will be given to you at registration. \nWhether this is your first triathlon or you are a seasoned athlete this will definitely be a fantastic start of season race. \nEach competitor will receive a custom race medal and one of our customs made buffs too.

DESCRIPTION:The World’s Highest Extreme Triathlon in Nepal began in the Himalayans. \nThe Roof Of The World\nHimalayanXtri is a new extreme long-distance triathlon to come to Nepal in South Asia and the first in the region as part of the XTRI World Tour. \nNepal embodies the very definition of the words extreme and diverse. Home to the great Himalayas and 8 of the world’s top 10 highest mountains\, giant glaciers\, subtropical forests\, and sweeping arid deserts. It is about the closeness of sharing the day with your support and crew. It is about community. But never forget. This race is seriously extreme. Nothing in Nepal is flat! \n  \n3.8km swim\, 175km bike\, 43km run \n4\,000m highest point\n 8\,800m overall elevation gain\nSwim \nThe 3.8km swim will start at 04.00 at Lake Phewa\, Pokhara. It will be a night swim and will require wetsuits. The water will be about 15 degrees Celsius. \nBike\nThe 175km road bike ride is all on asphalt but will  not be suitable for TT bikes. Overall course elevation gain is 5\,260m.  T1 is at 800m altitude.  Highest point is 1\,740m. \nRun\nThe 43km run is entirely off-road. T2 starts at 1\,740m.
