It’s located in the central part of the Montenegrin coast and it is the center of Montenegro tourism. The area surrounding Budva is called the Budva Riviera. Part of Budva Riviera are also Bečići\, Sveti Stefan and Petrovac\, smaller tourist towns. The towns of the Riviera boast cobbled streets\, medieval towers\, imposing battlements\, formidable city walls and charming terracotta rooftops mixed with the more contemporary restaurants\, bars and modern\, luxury\, up-market boutiques. \nBehind the hotels\, business- and residential buildings\, closer to the sea\, there are a multitude of hidden places nestling close to the villages. These places are blending in with the rocky hills\, which are covered in olive trees\, coniferous trees\, oaks\, hornbeam\, ash or other Mediterranean and continental trees and vegetation. \nThe Budva coast is 21 km long with 17 beaches. It is among the most beautiful coasts in the world and its beauty will not leave you indifferent. During the swimming segment\, athletes will -on one side- have views on the beautiful walls of the Old Town\, while on the other side their views will extend towards the blue open sea. During a big part of the swim\, you will swim close to the coast\, which makes the swim course really accessible for spectators. \nThe way to T1 is something really special. Athletes will go through the narrow and paved streets of Old Town\, where the transition area is located under the city walls. \nThe Montenegrin coast is considered one of the most beautiful coasts on the Adriatic. The two-laps bike course starts with the flat part of the course through Budva and Bečići. After passing these two cities\, the bike course will become more hilly. In this part of the course you will bike along the famous Sveti Stefan and Petrovac\, a fisherman village\, were you’ll have stunning views of the environment. \nThe final part of the race\, the two-laps run course- starts in the harbour and leads the athletes to Slovenska Beach. There you will enter one of the best parts of the run course: the pedestrian tunnel which connects Budva and Bečići. On the run you’ll pass all different things from small fishing boats and palm trees to a Mediterranean promenade. These are just some of the details that adorn this course. DESCRIPTION:The Osprey Sprint “Spring Race” is set to put good use to those winter months of training before the first open water swim events. \nThis is a perfect event for newcomers to the sport of triathlon and a fantastic start to the season for the more experienced athlete. The facilities at the Osprey Centre are perfect for a pool based triathlon with secure racking for the bikes\, chip timing by FullOnSport\, a beautiful and scenic bike ride and a fantastic flat off-road coastal run. \nThe Legacy cafe will be open during the event for spectators and competitors alike. \nPlease make sure you input your estimated swim time as accurately as possible when going through the online entry system as this will decide your swim group start time. This race will be chip timed so there will be NO wave starts. Each competitor will start 10 seconds after each other in one continual wave in the pool. \nAll information will be emailed out to you\, everything you need will be given to you at registration. \nWhether this is your first triathlon or you are a seasoned athlete this will definitely be a fantastic start of season race. \nEach competitor will receive a custom race medal and one of our customs made buffs too.

DESCRIPTION:The World’s Highest Extreme Triathlon in Nepal began in the Himalayans. \nThe Roof Of The World\nHimalayanXtri is a new extreme long-distance triathlon to come to Nepal in South Asia and the first in the region as part of the XTRI World Tour. \nNepal embodies the very definition of the words extreme and diverse. Home to the great Himalayas and 8 of the world’s top 10 highest mountains\, giant glaciers\, subtropical forests\, and sweeping arid deserts. It is about the closeness of sharing the day with your support and crew. It is about community. But never forget. This race is seriously extreme. Nothing in Nepal is flat! \n  \n3.8km swim\, 175km bike\, 43km run \n4\,000m highest point\n 8\,800m overall elevation gain\nSwim \nThe 3.8km swim will start at 04.00 at Lake Phewa\, Pokhara. It will be a night swim and will require wetsuits. The water will be about 15 degrees Celsius. \nBike\nThe 175km road bike ride is all on asphalt but will  not be suitable for TT bikes. Overall course elevation gain is 5\,260m.  T1 is at 800m altitude.  Highest point is 1\,740m. \nRun\nThe 43km run is entirely off-road. T2 starts at 1\,740m. DESCRIPTION:What: \nThis is a team event. A team consists of three people only. You must enter your team into one of two disciplines. These are; \n– On Foot (running/walking)\n– Cycling \nYour team cannot mix disciplines (ie if you enter your team ‘On Foot’\, none of your team can cycle and vice versa). \nYou and your team must then see how many kilometers you can clock up between dawn and dusk. For the purposes of making this inclusive to all those around the world\, the start and finish times are set at 06:00 (6am) and 18:00 (6pm)\, wherever you are taking on the challenge. You have 12 hours to go as far as you can. Your total distance will be the sum of the distance covered by all three of your team members. \nExample: \nStefan\, Mary and Jan cover 22km\, 45km and 92km on foot. Their total distance and the one submitted to Ultra X will be 159km. \nWhen: \n #Dawn2Dusk will take place on Saturday 13th March 2021. \nAs this is a truly global challenge we want to ensure that as many people around the planet can take part. The challenge is from dawn to dusk! DESCRIPTION:The 2021 Dartford Bridge Triathlon will take place on the 27th June.\nAs things stand as of now the 2021 race will now be run safely under covid19 rules. This means a competitor will start every 10 seconds. The race is now limited to 200 entries. This is the only way the race can take place safely.\nWe have now run 7 events successfully following covid19 safety rules.\nThe early bird entry ends on the 1st January. Due to covid19 and we have had to reduce the size of the race the entry fee will be going up on January the 1st. \nThis will be our first price increase in 12 years. DESCRIPTION:Compete in the shadow of the Wales Millennium Centre with this Triathlon & Duathlon. Perfect for athletes of all stripes\, the swim takes you out into the Bay and the cycle along traffic-free roads before culminating with an epic run along the Bay Barrage. Come for the experience of a lifetime. \nCardiff Triathlon routes\n\n\n\nThe Cardiff Triathlon takes place in the city’s scenic bay and is one of the most hotly anticipated events of the year. \nEach swim section will take place in the Bay itself\, before a quick transition and out onto completely closed\, traffic-free roads. Finally\, the race will end with a stunning run along the Cardiff Bay Barrage. \nThere are five separate events: \nOlympic Triathlon: Swim 1500m\, Bike 37KM\, Run 9KM\nSprint Triathlon: Swim 750m\, Bike 18.5KM\, Run 4.7KM\nSuper Sprint Triathlon: Swim 400m\, Bike 9.3KM\, Run 2.5KM\nAge Group ITU Qualifier: Swim 750m\, Bike 20.5KM\, Run 5.2KM \nThis year’s event will also host the British Age Group Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships (Draft Legal) which doubles up as an Age Group ITU Qualifier. \nThis race allows elite athletes to qualify for the ITU Sprint Distance Triathlon World Championship’s in Bermuda\, 2022. All entrants must be British Triathlon Members to register. \nCut Off Times \nSwim immersion times \nOlympic – 50 mins \nSprint – 30 mins \nSuper Sprint – 20 mins \nITU Qualifier – 30 mins \nAll mass participation cyclists must be clear of the course by 10.00 am \nThis year’s event will also host the British Age Group Sprint Distance Triathlon Championships (Draft Legal) which doubles up as an Age Group ITU Qualifier. \nThis race allows elite athletes to qualify for the ITU Sprint Distance Triathlon World Championship’s in Bermuda\, 2022. DESCRIPTION:Event dates \nRace 1 : 27th June\, Horowhenua- 10 am\nRace 2 : 25th July\, Wellington – 10 am\nRace 3 : 21st Aug\, Kapiti\, in the dark – 6.30 pm \nThe Dirt Duathlon Series is run by the Big Bang Adventure Charitable Trust\nWe were established in November 2010 and are registered with the Charities Commission. Our registration number is: CC45878. \nOur trust is comprised of 4 trustees who wanted to share their enthusiasm for the outdoors and who recognised a need in the community for adventure-based activities. Our aim is to allow access to the outdoors in a relatively controlled and safe environment. \nTogether we have a combined experience of over 60 years in the outdoor industry\, from managing an outdoor company in Scotland\, to owning one in New Zealand. We have extensive event management experience and have worked the white waters of Venezuela\, Colorado\, New Zealand\, Scotland and lead multi-pitch rock climbing & ice climbing. We have participated in and instructed kayaking\, windsurfing\, sailing\, open boating\, SUP’s\, bugging\, abseiling\, bridge swinging\, mountain biking\, hiking\, canyoning\, cliff jumping\, team building activities and any other activity that keeps us away from the office! \nWe welcome you to join us in our next adventure in the Dirt Duathlon adventure racing series. \nCheers \nCarrie\, Marty\, Pete and Si \nCheck out our other event the Big Bang Adventure Race\, a 6-9 hr adventure race in November each year.

Come for the physical challenge or to experience the wonderful race day atmosphere. \n\nThe Fugitive routes\n\n\n\nDuathlon \nBike Course: \n\nThe course is fairly flat with only a couple of hills.
