DESCRIPTION:Trinity Germiston is part 1 of a 3 part race. Athletes can join any single one or all three.\nTrinity Sports triathlon and duathlon races offer athletes of all ages a chance to race: Young Juniors (8-11 years)\, Juniors (12-19) and Seniors (20+) are welcome and we encourage all skill levels\, from beginners to professionals. \nBefore you register to participate in any one of the Trinity races you have to become a member of CGT/TSA. Late entry fees are payable in cash only \nRace Types\n\n\nIndividual entry – 1 athlete completes all disciplines\nRelay entry – 2 or 3 athletes race as a relay team (1 athlete per discipline) \n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note the rules regarding time trial bicycles and drafting:\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStandard distance race: time trial bike legal\, drafting illegal\nAll other races: time trial bike illegal\, drafting legal\n\n\n\n\nWetsuits & Water Temperature\n\n\nThe race referee will make a ruling on the use of wetsuits on race morning. No decision will be made prior to race morning.\nThe referee makes use of a formula taking water temperature and ambient air temperature into account. \nThe ITU (International Triathlon Union) rules state the following regarding the use of wetsuits: \nAges 12-18 (Juniors)\n\nWater temperature below 14oC – wetsuit use compulsory\nWater temperature between 14oC and 19.9oC – wetsuit use optional\nWater temperature 20oC and above – wetsuit use forbidden\n \nAges 19+ (Seniors)\nWater temperature below 14oC – wetsuit use compulsory\nWater temperature between 14oC and 21.9oC – wetsuit use optional\nWater temperature 22oC and above – wetsuit use forbidden\n \n\n\n\n\n\nThe September and April races are usually wetsuit optional races and the January race wetsuit illegal.
