SUMMARY:HimalayanXtri
DESCRIPTION:The World’s Highest Extreme Triathlon in Nepal began in the Himalayans. \nThe Roof Of The World\nHimalayanXtri is a new extreme long-distance triathlon to come to Nepal in South Asia and the first in the region as part of the XTRI World Tour. \nNepal embodies the very definition of the words extreme and diverse. Home to the great Himalayas and 8 of the world’s top 10 highest mountains\, giant glaciers\, subtropical forests\, and sweeping arid deserts. It is about the closeness of sharing the day with your support and crew. It is about community. But never forget. This race is seriously extreme. Nothing in Nepal is flat! \n \n3.8km swim\, 175km bike\, 43km run \n4\,000m highest point\n 8\,800m overall elevation gain\nSwim \nThe 3.8km swim will start at 04.00 at Lake Phewa\, Pokhara. It will be a night swim and will require wetsuits. The water will be about 15 degrees Celsius. \nBike\nThe 175km road bike ride is all on asphalt but will not be suitable for TT bikes. Overall course elevation gain is 5\,260m. T1 is at 800m altitude. Highest point is 1\,740m. \nRun\nThe 43km run is entirely off-road. T2 starts at 1\,740m. Highest point is 4\,000m\, before a descent to the finish and overnight at a remote homestay village at 1\,400m. \n \nEntries will open on\nMonday 3rd February 09.00 (CET) for a limited number of 100 slots \n[fusion_button link=”https://himalxtri.com/” text_transform=”” title=”” target=”_self” link_attributes=”” alignment=”” modal=”” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility\,medium-visibility\,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” s2id_autogen16=”” s2id_autogen16_search=”” color=”default” button_gradient_top_color=”” button_gradient_bottom_color=”” button_gradient_top_color_hover=”” button_gradient_bottom_color_hover=”” accent_color=”” accent_hover_color=”” type=”” bevel_color=”” border_width=”” border_radius=”” border_color=”” border_hover_color=”” size=”” stretch=”default” icon=”” icon_position=”left” icon_divider=”no” s2id_autogen17=”” s2id_autogen17_search=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”left” animation_speed=”0.3″ s2id_autogen18=”” s2id_autogen18_search=”” animation_offset=””]Register Here[/fusion_button]

SUMMARY:BallBuster Duathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Winter BallBuster was one of the first events ever launched by Human Race in December of 1990. The notoriously tough event concept is now in its 28th year and remains one of the toughest endurance challenges in the UK; a ‘must-do’ race for every competitive multi-sport athlete in the country\, it will test your fitness and stamina to the max! \nSet in the picturesque setting of the Box Hill National Trust site\, the course takes you on five lap course of Box Hill and the undulating hills of the North Downs. \nEveryone who finishes the event is awarded with a free event hoodie that you can wear with pride after the event\, your badge of honour to show that you took on the infamous BallBuster… and won. \nDue to the extremely limited parking available at Box Hill\, we strongly recommend car-sharing\, particularly for relay teams
