SUMMARY:The Bridge Children's Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The 7th Bridge Children’s Triathlon will take place on the 13th July 2025. Entries are now open for the 2025 Dartford Bridge Children’s Triathlon. Every year we learn a bit more and we try and improve our events.\nNew swim course for this year’s children’s race. No lap’s just one loop for each race. 50m\, 150m\, 200\, 300\, this will make the swim easier for the children. \nDue to time restrictions we are limited to only 50 in each age race wave. Boys and girls may be racing in the same wave. The children’s race is a stand alone race now. It was to hard to run it after the adult race. We need to have reopened the road by 10am so all waves will need to start on time. \nWe will be fencing off all areas this year for safety reasons. We will also be moving the Transition area down to the trees to give us more room. The Finish will also be moved 20m again to give us more room (see site plan) \nRegistration will only open at 5.30am for the children’s race. All children must be at the start area 15 minutes before their wave is due to start. Start times will be sent out the week before the race date by e-mail. They will also be posted on the web site \nIf you have any questions please feel free to ask before the day of the race. Estimated start time for each age group. This will be confirmed on 10th July. \n\nTri-Star 4 15/16 6.30 am\nTri-Star 3 13/14 7.30 am\nTri-Star 2 11/12 8.15am\nTri-Star 1 9/10 9.00am\nTri-Start 8 9.30am\n\nPlease note this will be a wet suit swim for the children’s race. We also ask that you must have swum open water before the day of the race. \n\nTri-Start age 8 Swim: 50m\, Bike: 1.5k\, 1 lap -Run: 600m -1 lap\nTri-Star 1 – 9/10 Swim: 150m\, Bike: 3k 2 laps – Run -1k -2 laps\nTri-Star 2 – 11/12 Swim: 200m\, Bike: 6k 4 laps Run: 1.5k – 3 laps\nTri-Star 3 – 13/14 Swim: 300m\, Bike: 7.5k 5 laps Run: 2k – 4 laps\nYouth 15/16 Swim: 400m \, Bike: 13k – 3k- 6 laps\n\nIf you have any questions about The Bridge Triathlon\, please get in touch info@bridgetriathlon.co.uk \nPLEASE NOTE: Swimming is forbidden in the lakes on The Bridge at any time other than for events or during authorised Open Water Swim training sessions. Any person found swimming in the lakes on The Bridge is committing an act of Trespass\, will be asked to leave and will be barred from site and disqualified from all future events at The Bridge. \n

SUMMARY:Cardiff Pretty Muddy Kids
DESCRIPTION:About Pretty Muddy® Kids\n\nPretty Muddy® Kids is a fun-packed muddy obstacle course for children aged 6-12 (over 1.2m tall). The young fundraisers climb\, crawl and slide their way around the course at their own pace\, accompanied by an adult. The course is approximately 5k which is just over three miles\, and there’s no pressure to finish in a certain time. Get ready to get muddy on an unforgettable day out. \n\nHow does Pretty Muddy® Kids work?\nPretty Muddy Kids® events start times are staggered in ‘waves’\, each wave starts every 15 minutes to ensure you’re safe on the course. If you’re signed up as a group\, please make sure you sign up for the same wave time. \nAdults accompanying children will run alongside the course\, but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles. \nParents or guardians will guide their little adventurer through the 5km course\, cheering them on and offering support when needed. If they come across a challenge they can’t tackle on their own\, they will be there to help them move on to the next one. \nFind out more about Pretty Muddy® obstacles. \nThe parent or guardian will have a blank running number\, on which they can add the running numbers of up to three children they are looking after on the day. \nChildren up to the age of 12\, who are at least 1.2m tall will be able to take part. Children ages 13 and above can join our Pretty Muddy® events. \nTake part with friends and family\nYou can take part in any Race for Life event as an individual or a group to raise money for life-saving research. \nGet your friends and family involved and walk\, jog or run at your own pace! An adult will need to accompany the child around the course but adults will not be able to go on the obstacles. \nHowever you choose to get muddy\, you’re helping to beat cancer. \nAccessibility\n\nDue to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users. \nWe aim for maximum accessibility at our events.
