SUMMARY:Trifarm Double Header Sprint Triathlons

It is the largest annual running competition in Sweden\, and the largest half-marathon running competition in the world\, with more than 62 000 entries. \nThe race takes place in May\, and has been organised annually since 1980. It starts outside\, and finishes in\, the old athletics arena Slottsskogsvallen in the Slottsskogen park. DESCRIPTION:The Kirroughtree Hillbilly Duathlon\, Junior event\, is a Run and Mountain Bike Duathlon organised by local volunteers. \nThere are 2 categories: \n\n8 – 11 years who compete over a 500m run and a 3km bike section;\n12 – 15 years compete over a 3km run and an 8km bike section (All distances are approximate).\n\nCompetitors can enter individually and do both the run and the bike sections or in a team of one runner and one biker. \nThe Mountain Bike Stage of the Junior Hillbilly Duathlon will take place over Blue Graded Trails. Blue Grades are suitable for Intermediate cyclists or Mountain Bikers with basic off-road riding skills and for Mountain Bikes or Hybrid bikes. \nCompetitors must provide their own trail worthy bikes and must be wearing a helmet when competing. SUMMARY:Horwich Pool Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:Horwich Triathlon is known as ‘The Race To The Pike’. It’s one of the oldest triathlon events in the North West\, dating back over 25 years. It starts with a 500m pool swim and then a 40k undulating cycle ride\, but we save the best bit until the end. The 8.6k run climbs all the way to the summit of Rivington Pike\, before descending back to the finish at Horwich Leisure Centre. We have all ability levels taking part\, but it’s not for the faint hearted. It’s a tough challenge\, but that’s what makes the event so popular and whilst the run is brutal\, it’s what makes is iconic. \nThis event is also the EPIC Club Championships\, your club can score points by having more competitors in the event and finishing higher up the ranks. SUMMARY:Horwich Pool Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:Horwich Triathlon is known as ‘The Race To The Pike’. It’s one of the oldest triathlon events in the North West\, dating back over 25 years. It starts with a 500m pool swim and then a 40k undulating cycle ride\, but we save the best bit until the end. The 8.6k run climbs all the way to the summit of Rivington Pike\, before descending back to the finish at Horwich Leisure Centre. We have all ability levels taking part\, but it’s not for the faint hearted. It’s a tough challenge\, but that’s what makes the event so popular and whilst the run is brutal\, it’s what makes is iconic. \nThis event is also the EPIC Club Championships\, your club can score points by having more competitors in the event and finishing higher up the ranks. DESCRIPTION:Start your triathlon season in Tadcaster! \nTraditionally\, held on the first Bank Holiday Monday in May\, in 2020 the Tad Tri will be on Saturday 2nd May 2020 to accommodate the rescheduling of the May Day holiday. \nNow in its 13th year\, this popular triathlon raises funds for Tadcaster Community Pool and is a perfect introduction to triathlon for the novice racer as well as more experienced triathletes.
