We are investing our resources into our overall event experience for our participants and engagement with the local community\, from hosting engaging route entertainment and festival village activities to improve the event’s sustainability and carbon footprint. This is all whilst continuing to deliver seamless race operations as part of a safe and enjoyable day for all taking part. \n\n\n\nWhilst we’re all about celebrating every single participant in the ASICS London 10K\, we still want to acknowledge the speedy performance of our race winners. We will therefore be offering prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd places in female\, male and racing wheelchair categories. Prizes will be vouchers and/or products from our partners. \n\n\n\nRace Day Information\n\n\n\nAdditional race day information will become available to all participants in the weeks leading up to the event. But if you have any questions or concerns in the meantime\, please contact us at  hello@thelondon10k.com. \n\n\n\nCan I listen to a personal music player whilst racing?\n\n\n\nYou are more than welcome to run with headphones; however\, we recommend running without so you can listen for any instructions from route marshals and soak up the amazing route entertainment & atmosphere!

SUMMARY:Ultra X Wales 2023 - Ultra Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Ultra X Wales 2023 will now be 220km over five stages.\nUltra X was created to give people amazing adventures in incredible locations worldwide. From the start\, accessibility has been at our core. We truly believe that taking on a multistage ultra marathon is one of the best experiences someone can do\, and we want to share that experience with as many people as possible.\n\n\n\n\nFor the first time ever\, an Ultra X full-distance event will begin on Wednesday and finish on Sunday! \n\n\nCompetitors can arrive on Tuesday evening\, which means that there is no need for a full five days of holiday to be taken to join us for this event.\n\n\nProgramme\n\nWe have an exceptional week planned for you which showcases some of the very best of the UK’s trails.\n\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfFChMzG-og&t=66s\n\n\nThis unique and challenging course takes participants from the northern Cambrian mountains to southern Snowdonia\, following a number of famous trails – including the Glyndwr’s Way National Trail\, the Wales Coastal Path\, the Minffordd Path and the Cross Britain Path – as it weaves its way over the stunning lakes and mountains for which southern Snowdonia is famous\, including the Cadair Idris\, Rhinogydd and Aran Fawddwy ranges.\n\nRunners can expect beaches\, mountains and much\, much more!\n\n\n\n\nIn order to increase accessibility even further\, the distance of Ultra X Wales has been reduced slightly.\n\nStages now range between 33km and 60km and cut-off times have been increased to 3 hours per 10km. More information about the distances can be found here.\n\nWe are tremendously excited about this subtle change in format and hope that it will enable us to appeal to a wider group of people whilst still delivering an extreme endurance challenge.

SUMMARY:Adventure Championships 2023 Sprint Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:From the quarries of Llanberis to the spectacular Newborough Forest with a few little hills in between\, this series is something you won’t forget in a hurry! North Wales is the only place in the UK where towering mountains meet crystal clear waters on sandy beaches and freshwater lakes. The distance may be shorter\, but the experience is everything and more. \n\n\n\nSLATEMAN SPRINTWhat a start! The first part of the Adventure Championships\, The Slateman Triathlon\, is the most iconic adventure triathlon in Wales. Starting in Llanberis\, the heart of Snowdonia’s industrial heritage\, this is an unparalleled race which combines stunning scenery with epic challenges. 220 Tri Magazine has listed the Slateman run course as one of the best in the world! \n\n\n\nSNOWMAN SPRINT \n\n\n\nThe second instalment of the Adventure Championships\, the Snowman Triathlon\, is not only the toughest event of the Adventure Championships but also known as the toughest event in the UK. \n\n\n\nThe Snowman encompasses all that the adventure playground of North Wales offers and is infamous for a reason; when you think you’re done\, there is a different challenge you’re not expecting. Exciting\, adrenaline-fuelled and a truly epic and unforgettable experience. \n\n\n\nSANDMAN SPRINTThe final part of the Adventure Championships and a fitting close – the Sandman has been described as the most beautiful triathlon in the race calendar. \n\n\n\nThe race starts and ends in one of Anglesey’s most treasured spots\, the incredible Newborough Forest\, an exclusive 700-ha area of woodland adjacent to the world-famous Llanddwyn Beach. \n\n\n\nOne of the few Triathlons on the calendar with a beach start and sea swim\, your supporters can build sandcastles and eat ice cream whilst you race!

SUMMARY:Bacchus Wine Half Marathon &10KM
DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday 10th September 2023 \n\n\n\nSet in stunning surroundings of the North Downs\, Bacchus has rapidly become one of the must-do events on the UK running calendar.  Most of the field turns out in fancy dress\, and bands and other musical entertainment are around the course. Still\, the drinks stations on the route separate Bacchus from other running races and epitomizes the event’s spirit. \n\n\n\nYou will have the chance to sample six fabulous award-winning English wines at five drinks stations along the course (you visit one station twice\, going out and coming back) with food and soft drinks to accompany them. If you are running 10K\, you’ll visit two of the wine stations. More food\, drink\, and music are waiting for you at the finish at the post-race hog roast\, where the party carries on long into the evening. \n\n\n\nUnfortunately\, there will be no Marathon in 2023. As numbers in the full Marathon distance start to dwindle we felt we could no longer fully support the marathon runners without compromising the Half Marathon or 10K. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nSTART WAVES \n\n\n\nThere will be eleven start waves\, the first seven for the Half Marathon runners starting at 9:30 am. Subsequent waves will be set off in 10-minute intervals. There will be three 10K start waves starting at 10:40 am. You will need to pre-select your wave to be sure of starting with your friends. The children’s fun run has one start wave at 11:05 am.  \n\n\n\n09:30am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n09:40am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n09:50am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:00am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:10am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:20am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS  \n\n\n\n10:30am                400 HALF MARATHON RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:40am                10K RUNNERS \n\n\n\n10:50am                10K RUNNERS \n\n\n\n11:00am                10K RUNNERS \n\n\n\n11:05am                FUN RUN \n\n\n\nTOILETS \n\n\n\nFor 2023\, as well as ample toilets in the car park and behind the main building at the start/finish area\, we will have portable toilets on the route at two different locations. \n\n\n\nBAGGAGE \n\n\n\nA secure baggage area is behind the main marquee to the right of Denbies’ main building. You will be asked to approach the start by walking through the marquee and will therefore pass the baggage area on your way to the start. After finishing\, reverse your direction and pass the baggage again before entering the marquee\, which hosts the post-race hog roast.  \n\n\n\nMUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT \n\n\n\nThere will be bands or musical entertainment at each of the drinks stations and at other sections of the course. A DJ will also be playing at The Hog Roast in the finish area.  \n\n\n\nHEADPHONE POLICY \n\n\n\nAs we are not running on any public highways (although there is one road to cross in two places)\, we allow headphones to be used. Still\, it is your responsibility to make sure you listen to any instructions from marshals\, and you wear headphones entirely at your own risk.
