This will include all your necessary race numbers and your timing chip. \nAge Requirements\nCompetitors must be at least 17 years old to participate in the Olympic Triathlon and at least 15 to take part in the Super Sprint\, Sprint\, and Age Group Qualifier. \nCompulsory Kit\nYou must bring a wetsuit to the event\, and based on the water temperature; the wetsuit may be forbidden\, optional or mandatory. The water temperature will be measured on race day and communicated with everyone participating.\nForbidden above 22°C\nOptional between 22°C and 14°C\nMandatory below 14°C\nYou must bring your own bike and helmet; E-bikes and power-assisted bikes are not allowed\, but any other bike is\, including mountain bikes. \nCut-off Times\nOlympic: Swim cut-off: 50 minutes\, bike course must be clear by 10:00.\nSprint: Swim cut-off: 30 minutes\, bike course must be clear by 10:00.\nSuper Sprint: Swim cut-off: 20 minutes\, bike course must be clear by 10:00.\nWorld Triathlon Age Group Qualifier: Swim cut-off: 30 minutes\, bike course must be clear by 12:50. \nTransition\nTransition opens early on the morning of the event and closes no later than 45 minutes before the first wave starts.\nThe transition will only be open for racking on the day of the event. DESCRIPTION:The Summer Trail Series by Ultra X takes place on the hills and dales of “God’s Own County”\, Yorkshire. Located in West Yorkshire\, Calderdale is the southernmost of the Yorkshire Dales and covers part of the South Pennines\, an area of beautiful river valleys\, moorlands\, and hills. \nhttps://youtu.be/8vbGAedwDR8 \nThe Summer Trail Series offers three race distances: 100km\, 50km and half marathon. \nAs is always the case with Ultra X events\, these are far more than just races; they are fantastic experiences. At the start/finish\, there will be an expo selling merchandise\, hot drinks\, food and much more. You are actively encouraged to stay on after your race and enjoy the festivities\, BBQ and bar. \nThe address for the start/finish is the same for all three race distances: Mytholmroyd Community & Leisure Centre (HX7 5AF) or what3words location verse.greet.riches. \nThe start is a 5-minute walk from Mytholmroyd train station\, and there is also parking readily available at the Community & Leisure Centre\, which can be booked on registration. There is limited parking in Mytholmroyd town centre. \nAll races are held under a full UK Athletics Permit granted through the TRA.

Race 3 will test these skills to the max – in the dark! \nWe like to spread the love\, so the events are held between the Wellington\, Kapiti and Horowhenua regions. \n​\nWe know that’s how you like to roll to keep things easy. The day events will start at 10 am to have a lie-in. The night event will begin at 7 pm.

With a huge variety of remote terrain\, challenging climbs\, and stunning upland scenery on offer\, the Peak District is one of the best trail running locations in the country. \nUltra X 50 England (50km single-stage race) takes place on the second day (Sunday) of Ultra X 125 England. Both races are held under full UK Athletics permit granted through the TRA. \n \nMEDAL RIBBONS\nAll finishers will receive a race medal. Different medal ribbons will be awarded based upon the finishing times outlined below. \nAs part of our Sustainability Policy\, the Green Ribbon will be awarded to the competitor that displays the highest commitment to reducing their environmental impact both in preparation for and during the race (as determined by the organisers).

SUMMARY:The Original Grim Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Grim Challenge 2022\nThe GRIM is one of the original muddy/trail/obstacle races with a history that dates back to 2003. After a COVID absence in 2020\, it bounced back strongly in 2021 with more than 1000 runners taking part in the event. It returns in 2022 in much the same format: the route takes you over Army vehicle testing ground in Aldershot with two distance options\, a main race 8-miler and a lighter version over a shorter 4-mile course. \nAlthough the GRIM is a tough trail race in which you will certainly find yourself at times cold\, wet and dirty\, it is not an obstacle race\, it’s a running event. We don’t build any ramps\, walls or swings on the course. All the obstacles are natural\, formed by tanks driving over the route or by incessant rain in the weeks leading up to the event. Of course\, at this stage\, we can’t guarantee the rain but it’s never let us down before! In a few places\, you will be crawling under cargo nets or wading though waist-high water. The distance may not sound daunting but don’t take this lightly\, on a cold December morning\, the GRIM is a challenge and you will think it aptly named when you have run it. \nWe also have a new charity partner… Combat Stress. \nCombat Stress is the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health. For over a century\, it has helped former servicemen and women with mental health problems such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)\, anxiety and depression. Today it provides specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict\, focusing on those with complex mental health issues. \nThe work it does is life-changing and often life-saving. We are delighted to be working and supporting the work Combat Stress at the GRIM Challenge. DESCRIPTION:It’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas and slipping into that red and white suit for a little festive fun and exercise at the Denbies Santa Run 2022. This will be the fifth time we’ve organised the event at Denbies and it’s been popular since day one. \nWe are already looking forward to the spectacle of hundreds of red-suited\, bearded Santas weaving in and out of the vines. If you are worried that you might not have the right outfit for the event\, worry not because we provide the suits as part of the entry fee. It’s one size to fit all\, although there is also a children’s size suitable for kids under 10. If you have your own suit\, you are welcome to wear it and you can certainly add embellishment to the ones we provide. \nThe event is very much a Christmas Fun Run. It isn’t timed and while there are medals and numbers there are no prizes for being first across the line. The numbers are there to identify yourself in the post-race photos because strangely it’s hard to pick out one Santa from another behind the white beards. Free digital downloads of your post-race photos are included in the entry fee. What is also included in the entry fee is a post-run cup of mulled wine and a mince pie (with soft drink options for children). \nThe run is two laps of a 2.5K route which broadly follows a circular route out and around Denbies main building taking in parts of the North Downs Way on a mixed track of concrete\, dirt trails and grass. If you are worried your children won’t manage the full 5K you can do one lap and still earn the medal\, mulled wine and mince pie. The route may be a bit muddy under foot as parts of it are on the North Downs Way through a wooded seciton but is suitable for running buggies/ strollers. \nVenue: Denbies Wine Estate\, Dorking \nStart time: 10:30 am \nEntries close: Thursday 8th December or when the race reaches capacity. \nEntry Fee: Adults £27 / Children under 15 £15 \nEntry fee includes: \n– Santa suit\n– Finishers Medal\n– Mulled Wine or soft drink\n– Mince Pie\n– Free Parking\n– Free race photos \n   \n

DESCRIPTION:This is a tough event for Cederberg and Mountain lovers. For the discerning trail runner who enjoys adventure and wilderness. You need to be self-sufficient\, there is no pampering other than endless panoramic views. A skyline trail around the amphitheater of the Kromrivier Valley. \n\n\n\nThe highest point of the trail is Donkerkloof Peak is at 1750 meters. Looking north you can see Sneeuberg\, the highest summit in the Cederberg. The route traverses 6 Peaks\, and each must be reached within a Cut off time\, or you will be short-coursed down the Valley. \n\n\n\nBut\, we are generous and if you can hike fast\, maintaining a reasonable tempo\, you will enjoy a thrilling day out. DESCRIPTION:Eton Sprints Weekend| Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 May 2023\nThe Eton Sprints are the traditional start of the triathlon season\, welcoming competitors and supporters to Dorney Lake annually every May. The core distance options available are usually Sprint and SuperSprint. It’s the first of three events in the Dorney Lake series\, followed by Banana (1 July 2023) and Season Finale (17 September 2023). The series is organised by Human Race\, who have over 30 years of experience in putting on high-quality\, enjoyable\, and safe triathlon events. \nWhere is the event?\nDorney Lake in Eton\, just to the west of London\, is the ideal setting for a triathlon. The 2012 London Olympic venue attracts thousands of triathletes a year with it’s clear\, calm\, clean water to swim in and flat\, car-free bike and run course. \nWhen is the event?\nEton Sprints 2023 takes place on Saturday 13th\, and Sunday 14th May. \nDistances\n  \nEvent Registration\nREGISTRATION MARQUEE OPEN FROM 07:15 \nRegister and collect your race pack\, which has the following: \n\nRace numbers to be pinned to your front or on a race belt so you can easily switch it from rear for the bike course to the front for the run course\nNumbered wristband for transition entrance/exit. This will be removed by our crew when you leave transition with your bike and kit for the last time.\nSticky numbers for the front of your helmet and bike\nTiming Chip – Velcro strap needs to be collected before leaving the registration marquee\n\nTo collect your event pack\, you MUST show a photo ID and your registration QR code. Please ensure you have registered a minimum of 1 hour before your wave. Please attach all numbers before entering the transition. Bikes are racked by wave. \nElectronic Timing\nYour electronic timing chip should be securely fastened to your left ankle. To attach\, fasten the Velcro thread around your ankle. Once attached\, please DON’T remove it until you have completed your Triathlon. We will endeavour to provide all timing splits\, but this is not guaranteed. Lost chip charge is £35\, so secure it well. We will collect it at the finish line. \nPLEASE NOTE: Only competitors are allowed in the transition area. You will be given a security-numbered wristband attached at registration. This wristband allows access in/out of the transition area and may only be removed by crew checking your equipment on final departure from Transition. \nCOURSE INFO\n\nON COURSE HYDRATION: There will be one drinks station at the half-way point of the run course. All athletes should be self-sufficient and bring water / drinks with them for both your bike and run sections.\n\nFINISH LINE: The finish line will be self-service – please collect your Medal\, Water\, SIS product and Erdinger Alkoholfrei from the tables keeping your distance from others. Please collect your bike and equipment from transition promptly to enable crew to clean the racking prior to subsequent waves using it. \nEVENT RULES\n\nNo mobile phones\, personal stereos\, MP3 players or iPods to be used in Transition or during the event itself at any time.\nIt is forbidden to mark your position in Transition.\nYour cycle helmet is to be on and fastened before you touch your bike and remain on and done up until after your bike is racked.\nIt is forbidden to cycle in Transition.\nDisc brakes are allowed in triathlons and duathlons.\nDrafting* is forbidden on the bike.\n\nFor more information and the latest rules\, visit the BTF Website.\n*Drafting is cycling too closely behind another cyclist and gaining an advantage. The drafting zone is 10m\, so keep at least 10m behind the cyclist in front unless you are overtaking over a 20 second period.
