DESCRIPTION:If you’re looking for a traffic-free 10K in a stunning setting\, then look no further than the Longleat 10K; starting in front of the magnificence of Longleat House\, the race takes in the estates’ private and traffic-free roads\, with only a short excursion of 400m on public highways as you pass the Bath Arms Public House before the final mile downhill to the finish. \n\n\n\nThe route is undulating to hilly\, with a significant climb tackled twice: once soon after the start and the second towards the end. Your reward for that second climb though is the final downhill run along Lodge Drive towards Longleat House and the finish. \n\n\n\nFor children and family or friends\, we welcome you to enter the Longleat 2-Mile Fun Run. DESCRIPTION:A unique\, team endurance swimming challenge for all abilities. Gather a team of between 1 to 8 swimmers and swim for an hour each\, for 24 hours! \n\n\n\nOVERVIEWYou swim as much as you want\, as fast as you want.\n\n\n\nThis event is unique in being a personal/team endurance swimming challenge rather than about speed or distance. It’s also for everyone over the age of 14\, regardless of your ability. It’s not a race\, no one is being timed or tracked. \n\n\n\nHIGHLIGHTS\n\n\n\nTHE GLASTONBURY OF SWIMMINGIt felt like a swimming festival\, like a Glastonbury with open water rather than bands. The community spirit really made it something special. \n\n\n\nUNIQUE AND PERSONALThe event itself is unique in being a personal/team endurance challenge rather than about speed or distance\, and although a few teams clearly wanted to be competitive\, the team was fantastic in promoting the inclusive\, not a race\, message. \n\n\n\nTHE ATMOSPHEREThe atmosphere was brilliant. The nighttime swims really are so special but also getting to swim together as a team was brilliant. The event staff maintained their energy throughout\, which helped when we were flagging. \n\n\n\nSUCH A JOYThe weekend was such a joy to be a part of – seeing all these people come together to do something uplifting and for such an amazing cause creates the best buzz. It’s so relaxed and easygoing\, everyone knows where to be and when\, and it all just runs smoothly. \n\n\n\nCHEER THE NIGHTI loved the camaraderie\, with people cheering on everyone\, even at 2 am. The people were all so lovely\, and it’s such an incredible community to be part of – watching everyone going in for that last hour made me emotional! \n\n\n\nTOP ORGANISATION10 minutes before the hour\, you can start the changeover. It was nice and smooth. The uniqueness is the 24-hour part. I think it’s amazing.

This partially closed road course is a stunning showcase of some of North Wales’s most beautiful scenery. \n\n\n\n\n10K\n\n\n\n\nThe race starts by flowing downhill through Menai Bridge town centre and along the winding closed road that leads to Beaumaris\, where you find your turn-around point. DESCRIPTION:Continuing the ‘PHOENIX Fridays’ – a series of Friday running events with flexible ‘rock up and run’ start times to suit you\, here’s our ‘Pyjama Friday’ – Thank Phoenix\, it’s Friday!. \n\n\n\nThese events are a little smaller than our weekend events\, and the entry fee is a little less than our standard themed entry\, but with no compromise on our legendary medals. We’ll have a selection of our usual big\, bold\, bright and epic bling for you to choose from at each of the PHOENIX Fridays\, and if there’s a specific medal you’ve been after for a while or one you missed out on from one of our previous events then just drop us an email\, and we’ll see if we can bring that one along for you. \n\n\n\nThe PHOENIX Fridays are a series of our timed events where you choose – from 5km to 10k\, half to marathon to ultra. You can complete as many\, or as few\, laps as you like of a 5.3km\, 3.28 mile\, out and back\, course along the beautiful river Thames. We welcome all abilities of runners – complete one lap\, and you’re both a finisher and a winner in our eyes or keep going and see how far you can get in the full time limit and everyone gets a fabulous bespoke finishers’ medal from our awesome selection. \n\n\n\nNot sure? Well\, the beauty of this format is that you don’t even need to decide in advance � simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. \n\n\n\nPlaces will be strictly limited\, so don’t leave it too late to enter. \n\n\n\nMinimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off the road trail\, the terrain is a riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain/loss making this a flat and fast route. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe provide a physical running service and by entering our events\, you are purchasing an actual run\, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events\, both attended and virtual\, will receive a free giveaway medal/memento from your run.

We aim to have 1 water station halfway around the 10k route and by the start and finish area for all runners. Please can we encourage you to bring a suitable bottle to run with. At the finish line we will give you your medal and let you enjoy the festival in the stunning surroundings. We don’t advertise the route due to this being on private land\, we need to respect the landowners’ wishes.

DESCRIPTION:Our first outing to this beautiful venue in Hertfordshire. Come and join us at our exclusive venue at Hyde Hall Farm\, SG9 0RU \n\n\n\nAt our Moo-rathon\, Calf and Hen K\, you will join like-minded runners doing different distances. Options include 10k\, Half Marathon\, Full Marathon or Ultra Marathon. \n\n\n\nThere is a six-hour event cut-off\, (if you start at 9am\, and 4hour event cut off if you start at 11am) . The route starts in the base camp of Hyde Hall farm and encompasses the beautiful grounds around it. \n\n\n\nYou may be completing your first official 10k\, Half Marathon\, Full Marathon or even ultra-marathon\, or it may be your 100th or 1000th. The location is pretty self-contained\, making this an intimate event with us having exclusive use of the main area and plenty of open space. \n\n\n\nThere will be a water aid station located at the lap point\, so no stress of having to carry lots of food\, water or equipment. \n\n\n\nParking is also included and secure on-site. \n\n\n\nWe will have a parking attendant showing you how to park who will assist in directing you to the start point to collect your race number. \n\n\n\nUpon entry\, you will receive an email confirmation from your entry portal and Zig Zag Running. \n\n\n\nThere will be a Bespoke medal for the event\, which you will receive at the end of the race. SUMMARY:FROZEN LAKE RUN\, MARATHON AND HALF MARATHON
DESCRIPTION:The Frozen Lake Marathon and Half Marathon is a unique running event\, it’s the only one we know about that is run entirely on water. Fortunately\, the waters of the Tisela Fjord in Norway at the end of March are frozen\, so it’s less challenging than it could be. But it’s still a challenge. Running on snow and ice is a skill in itself but one that you can quickly master. \nIt’s one lap of the 21.1k course for the half-marathon or twice around if you are running the full marathon. The Icebug Frozen Lake Marathon is limited to 500 runners of all abilities. Once you’ve mastered ice running you should be able to cover the distance quickly because this is the flattest race you’ll ever run and an experience you’ll never forget. \nTisela Fjord Jorden is located 819 meters above sea level in the Norwegian municipalities of Gol and Hemsedal\, which is 200K north of Oslo. \nFor the most part\, the ice on the lake is about 80 cm thick – with a carrying capacity of up to 30 tons. The course is plotted by a support team of ice experts who monitor the lake closely in the days leading up to the event and throughout the race. For maximum safety\, the final course is laid out just days before the race starts. Among other things\, the lake is used for testing vehicle tires\, emergency vehicles\, and drivers who want to test their skills in icy conditions\, so it’s not going to struggle to support the weight of 500 runners! \nTransport from Oslo \nWe have a dedicated bus transfer that will take you from Oslo airport to the hotel Oset\, the race HQ and your base throughout your four-night stay in Norway

DESCRIPTION:Fast and flat route on fully closed roads that is almost all on tarmac. UK Athletics licensed\, run under England Athletics rules and results will appear on Power of 10. Start on the dam bridge itself. \n\n\n\nThe event will be run under UK athletics rules\, with results appearing on Power of 10. The race is on closed roads and starts right on the Dam bridge. \n\n\n\nThe stunning setting is also perfect for a PB. It starts about 1K southeast of the visitor centre and does one complete loop of the reservoir and then two-thirds of a second loop before finishing at exactly 10K about 400 metres north of HQ (the visitor centre). The start is now right on the Dam bridge. \n\n\n\nThere are just 90 metres of climbing on this course\, and a top runner in good conditions could break 30 minutes. However\, it’s also ideal for fun runners and beginners\, and many competitors notch up PBs here! \n\n\n\nThis event is part of Burrator 10K and Kids Races. \n\n\n\nRoute\n\n\n\n\n1.6 laps of the reservoir. SUMMARY:Reading Half Marathon – 14th April 2024
DESCRIPTION:The first ever Reading Half Marathon was organised and run in 1983 when the start and finish venue was Reading University at White Knights Park. There were 5\,000 runners and it was won by a 21-year-old local University student\, Mark Curzons in a time of 67.45. \n\n\n\nIn 2003 Sweatshop took over the organisation of the Reading Half Marathon. Sweatshop’s aim was to make the event all about the runner and ultimately create an experience that is worthy of this prestigious Half Marathon. Sweatshop made numerous changes to the course over the duration of their fifteenth-year organisational span which resulted in a fast route and an amazing finish in the magnificent Madejski Stadium. \n\n\n\n2018 marked a new chapter in the Reading Half Marathon as new organisers Goldline Events took to the helm that summer. With the aim of making the race even bigger and better\, we promised to not only continue the great work Sweatshop did but to enhance each and every runner’s experience. \n\n\n\nThe Reading Half Marathon not only takes in the highlights of the centre of Reading where you will experience huge crowd support but also still passes through the beautiful grounds of the University campus. We suggest you get there early so you will have the chance to ride on the track before the race to warm up.\n\n\n\nHelmets must be worn at all times on the track.\n\n\n\nAll 3 the race will start at 8.45 am and the last competitor should finish by about 11.30am. Don’t worry there is no cut-off time for the run.\n\n\n\nThe race starts with two laps of 9k (or one 5k lap) as shown on the course map.\n\n\n\nThere will be water stations at the start of the second lap.\n\n\n\nAt this point\, you turn left to start your 2nd lap. For the Sprint you head back to the cycle park.\n\n\n\nThe GOTri is a 2.5k run. You will turn just before the bridge and head back down a bridal path.\n\n\n\nIt’s then back onto the track for a 30bike (12 laps) or 20k bike (8 laps) GOTri is 6 laps.\n\n\n\n\nIt’s easy to keep count if you have a speedo. If you don’t have one\, just time your first lap\, then just keep adding that time each time you finish a lap. You will get a bit slower\, but you should still be able to work it out. \n\n\n\nIt’s then back out onto the second run for 1 lap again for the Sprint and long course. The GOTri will turn again at the same place as the first lap just before the bridge. I will be there for the first lap\, directing you. \n\n\n\n\nWhen you run in and out of the cyclopark keep to the side and not run in the middle of the road. There will be a point on the Sprint and Long course race when you will come out on to a road for 400m. Keep tight to the left. It’s a very quiet road\, but you may still get the odd car.\n\n\n\nThere will also be bottles of water to take with you for the second run if you need them.\n\n\n\nThere will be 2 race briefs one at 8.30 for everyone doing the GOTri and at 8.40 am to go over the whole race.\n\n\n\nThe Prize giving will be after the last person has crossed the line.\n\n\n\nDue to the size of each race at the moment\, there will only be 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place trophies for males and females for each distance.\n\n\n\n\nAll our events are covered by BTF and our own Public liability insurance. \n\n\n\nFor information and Maps of the Cyclopark\, go to http://www.cyclopark.com. \n\n\n\nThere is parking and toilets on site\, and the coffee shop is now fully open. There is also a play area for children if you are bringing along the family. DESCRIPTION:The Wrexham 10k  brings together an active community of people taking part in sporting events for reasons ranging from fitness\, competition\, charity\, health\, fun\, or to finish. The participants vary in all ages and abilities. \n\n\n\n\nRACE HQ START / FINISH- This will be on Queen Street in the centre of Wrexham\n\n\n\n\n\nRACE DAY SCHEDULE- (Sunday 21st April 2024) Arrive in Wrexham: 8 am/ Warm Up/ Race Start: 9 am\n\n\n\nPARKING- This will be a 5-minute walk from the start/finish area. The town centre has multiple car parks for runners and spectators to use.\n\n\n\n\nThe race offers a lovely route for all runners. It takes in the centre of Wrexham at the start and finishes with a nice countryside section in the middle of the course. \n\n\n\nOnce you complete the run\, you will receive your finisher’s medal and goodies! \n\n\n\n\nMinimum Ages\n\n\n\n\nMin age 15 years old \n\n\n\n\nRace Start / Finish\n\n\n\n\nThe Race start and finish will be a short walk to multiple car park parking\, allowing you to leave your valuables in your car. We will have music playing and a help desk for any last-minute questions. \n\n\n\n\nRace Experience\n\n\n\n\nWe are keen to ensure that everyone\, regardless of their ability\, enjoys the day. We aim to have one water station around halfway around the 10k route and by the start and finish area for all runners. Please can we encourage you to bring a suitable bottle to run with. SUMMARY:Eastnor Mud Bath 3km Mini\, 6km and 10km
DESCRIPTION:Why run the Eastnor Castle Mud Bath   \n\n\n\nEastnor Castle is the home of the Land Rover test centre; over 60 miles of trails wind through the deer park and woodland\, which put the vehicles and drivers through the toughest of paces. These man-made trenches and troughs exaggerate the natural terrain to give a year-round muddy experience\, maintained with additional water\, these mud pits will be just as lovely in the summer as they would be in the winter! \n\n\n\nWe will be making the most of the terrain as it lies\, picking the muddiest trails the estate has to offer. There will be a few natural obstacles\, fallen trees to navigate\, gullies to cross and of course\, lots of mud to roll in! There are some good hills between the mud\, but like all our events\, everyone is always most welcome to come and take part. \n\n\n\nEastnor Backyard and Eastnor Mud Bath – one running weekend\, two very different routes \n\n\n\nThe Eastnor Backyard and Relay Races\, held on Saturday\, are held on tarmac roads and solid farm tracks. These routes are mud-free! \n\n\n\nThe Eastnor Castle Mud Bath is a Mud Run held on Sunday\, seeking out the muddiest trails and water-filled troughs\, covered in mud. \n\n\n\nEssentials\n\n\n\nWhen:Sunday 28th April 2024. Start Times are from 10:00 for the 3km Mini\, and from 11:00 for the 10km and 6km; please see the Provisional Schedule for details. \n\n\n\nLocation: Eastnor Castle Deer Park\, Eastnor\, Ledbury\, HR8 1EN. What3Words /// indulgent.octopus.crunching \n\n\n\nDistances: We have a 3km Mini Mud Bath (min age 4\, 6 and under must be adult accompanied)\, mainly aimed for little runners\, alongside a 5km (min age 12\, or 10 & 11yr olds must be adult accompanied) and 10km (min age 14). There are no cut offs\, though please note the races are not open to pure walkers\, but we always welcome people who will do a mix of run\, jog and walk their way around our routes. \n\n\n\nAccompanying Adults: Accompanying adults can accompany free of charge and\, as such\, do not register as participants; they will not be on the start lists\, collect a race number\, finish time or medal. Max ratio of 1 adult to 2 children who must remain together at all times. Accompanying adults are\, of course\, welcome to register as formal participants. We suggest adults test the water for depth before children enter the water. There will be dry alternative routes. Children must cross the line with accompanied adults when this is their category or no result will be recorded. \n\n\n\nRegister: Register here for the 3km (£20)\, 6km (£30) and 10km (£35). The min age for the 10km is 14. The min age for the 6km to run solo is 12\, 10 and 11yr olds can run the 6km if accompanied by an adult. The min age for the 3km is 4\, all runners age 6 and under must be adult accompanied. Prices are £5 extra on the day. \n\n\n\nCamping: Camping is available as an optional extra and includes access to hot showers\, portaloos and drinking water. There are no electricity hook-up points. Camping is £10/person per night. Access to the campsite opens from 16:00 on Friday and is for Friday and Saturday nights only\, the campsite closes at 16:00 on Sunday afternoon. Camping can be purchased alongside your race booking or as an add-on here. \n\n\n\nGroup discounts: Find out more here. 10-19 runners save 15%\, 20-49 runners save 20%\, 50+ runners save 25%. The Backyard ticket must be booked first and you will be emailed a 20% discount code for the Mud Bath to use afterwards. \n\n\n\nThe Eastnor Backyard and Relay races are held on a 4.167-mile road loop\, which is dry and without mud! The Backyard races are 8-hour and 12hr races with a lap starting every hour. The Relay races run the same loop but have full control over their start intervals\, running as many laps as possible in 12 hours. Take a look here for more info. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy run with us\n\n\n\nWe take pride in providing very well-marked routes complete with distance markers so you can relax and enjoy your run. We also publish route maps and make GPX files available so you know what to expect when you are out on the route. Our wonderful marshal team will be out on the course to cheer you on at regular intervals\, provide a presence at key points and serve you drinks and food at our amazing feast stations. There is water on the course at all of our races\, electrolytes at our warmer and longer races and coke in the later stages of our marathon and ultra events. \n\n\n\nAt our frequent 5km feed stations on our half marathon or longer events\, and at all our finish lines\, you will find chocolate\, sweets\, fresh fruits\, crisps\, Haribo\, as well as GF and vegan snacks. Our medical team and supporting partners will look after you and bring you you home if you are injured. At the finish line you will be awarded one of our super colourful interlocking medals\, along with a feast of treats including a can of energy drink from our official energy drink partner\, Acti+\, as well as tribe bars and an amazing buffet of other snacks. They can cover any mix of distances on race day. 10-19 runners saves 15%\, 20-49 runners save 20%\, 50+ runners saves 25%. All bookings must be made in advance to be eligible for the group discount rate. Please can we have groups of 20+ runners at least 4 weeks of race day. \n\n\n\nPrizes\n\n\n\nAll our finishers receive a top-of-the-range custom medal as well as a buffet of fresh fruit and other tasty treats. We do not have any winner’s prizes for any of the children’s events as would like to keep this participation focused. \n\n\n\nThere is no on-the-day prize giving because of the multi-wave\, multi-start time format of the events. SUMMARY:Worthing Runfest 10k and Half Marathon 2024
DESCRIPTION:The 28th of April 2024 is a big day for the Worthing RUNFEST. The day will consist of three brilliant events the Worthing Half Marathon\, Worthing 10K\, and the Family Run. Each race will take place on fully closed roads as flat as a pancake\, making them the perfect place to go for a new PB. The races will start and finish right on the seafront of this well known seaside town. The 10k will be a one-lap course following the coastal road and providing wonderful views for the whole race\, while the half marathon will be a two-lap course that will take you through the town before heading out on the coastal road and joining the 10k. The 10k and half marathon courses will be accurately measured to IAAF standards\, and UKA will fully license the event. This event has been run since 2015 and is now organised by RUN FEST Ltd. Each finisher will receive the warm welcome that the RUN FEST brand is known for as well as one of our amazing male or female cut tech tees\, a bespoke medal\, and an accurate chip timed finish result. DESCRIPTION:Kids race for children aged 3-7 at the stunning Burrator Reservoir with medals for all finishers! \n\n\n\nThe event will be run under UK athletics rules with results appearing on Power of 10. The race is on closed roads and starts right on the Dam bridge. \n\n\n\nThe stunning setting is also perfect for a PB. It starts about 1K south east of the visitor centre and does one complete loop of the reservoir and then two thirds of a second loop before finishing at exactly 10K about 400 metres north of HQ (the visitor centre). The start is now right on the Dam bridge. \n\n\n\nThere are just 90 metres of climbing on this course and a top runner in good conditions could break 30 minutes.
