DESCRIPTION:Come along for Shropshire’s largest Santa Run and be part of the Santa invasion. With a closed-road\, flat run\, the Oswestry Santa 5k sees thousands of runners come out. So come to burn off those mince pies and run with family and friends this December. \nWhere and when\nLocation\nSmithfield St\, Oswestry SY11 2EG\, UK\nStart times\n5k:\n9:00 am \nRoute information\nThe Shropshire Santa Run takes place on Shropshire’s fully-closed roads. Starting and finishing on Church Street\, runners will be taken around the town and show their Santa costumes to the locals. \nWhat’s included\n– 5-piece Santa suit\n– Christmas themed Finisher’s Medal\n– Fully closed roads\n– Festive atmosphere\n– Winter Buff\n– Donation to Lingen Davies \nHow to get there\nSmithfield St\, Oswestry SY11 2EG\, UK \nParking\nThere are two car parks which are close to the event site:\nBailey Head car park SY11 1PZ\nSalop Rd Central Car Park SY11 2NR\nThe organisers advise entrants to park on the outskirts of town and walk to the event. \nEvent day logistics\n08:00 Arrive in Oswestry\n08:45 Warm-up starts\n09:00 Race start\n10:10 Cut-off time \nAge Requirements\nAll entrants must be 11 and older to enter the event. \nRace Packs\nRace packs will be posted to participants the week before the event. For those entering who live outside of the UK and those who enter close to the event date\, race packs will be collected on the day from Race HQ. \nCut-off Time\nThere will be a 70-minute cut-off in place at the event. Roads will reopen in line with this\, and runners falling behind this time will be asked to stop.\nToilets \nThere will be toilets available in the public park\, and extra toilets will be placed in the walkway next to the start.\nPara-Athletes\nParticipants with disabilities should contact the event organiser at hello@adrenalinesportingevents.co.uk to discuss their needs.\nThere is no dedicated wheelchair race at the event\, but accompanied wheelchairs\, visually impaired and learning disabled athletes are welcome.
