DESCRIPTION:Family Swim Holiday Mallorca\nAfter 14 years of successful Family Swim Holidays\, we are proud to announce our 2019 Holiday Programme. The Family Swim Holidays 2019 will take place at the fabulous world renowned BEST Centre\, in the beautiful town of Colònia Sant Jordi\, on the southern tip of Mallorca where you will stay just minutes from some of Europe’s most stunning beaches. \nThe swim holiday is designed for swimmers aged 6-18 years old\, who are used to training regularly with a swim team\, (please email us if you have any questions). The holiday will cater for all levels of swimmer from club swimmer to international standard. \nFACILITIES \nThe Pool\nThe centrepiece of The BEST Centre is our outdoor Olympic-sized training pool. The 10 lane\, 50m pool (50m x 25m x 2m) is a free-standing pool from Astra\, who supply the competition pools for the FINA world championships. \nThe Gym\nWe know that a well equipped gym is essential for a successful training camp\, so we have an on-site gym fully equipped and dedicated to swimming. We also have two large areas suitable for land work\, and plenty of space around the pool for stretching. Our state of the art facilities at The BEST Centre attract individuals and teams from across the world. More specifically\, we have welcomed 1000s of different swimming\, water polo\, triathlon and synchronised swimming teams from 38 countries worldwide. The combination of our facilities and the peacefulness of Colònia make for the perfect training camp – good enough for the very BEST! \nWHAT TO EXPECT\n“Our goal for each athlete is to have fun\, learn\, meet new friends\, and take a great attitude about their sport back to his or her home club.” \nWHAT’S INCLUDED\nThe swim holiday will be run by British Olympic swimmers and former British record holders as well as ASA qualified coaches. The holiday will comprise of 9 x 2 hour swimming sessions for 7 day holidays and 13 x 2 hour swim sessions for the 10 day holiday\, accompanied by dry land and stretching exercises. \nThe focus will be on:\n» Technique work.\n» Kicking.\n» Starts and turns.\n» Breakouts.\n» And having the most fun you can possibly have in a week of swimming. \nWhen the children are training\, parents are free to do their own thing and explore some of the beautiful sights of the island\, or sit in the sun and watch your children train. Parents will also have the opportunity to use the pool and the gym\, free of charge whilst the kids train! \nAlthough this is a swim holiday\, we offer so much more! As you can see on the itineraries\, outside of training we have a fun-filled schedule with lots of fun activities\, along with plenty of free time to relax as a family. \nWHAT TO BRING\nAll swimmers will need to bring fins and snorkel. Either bring your own if you have it\, or please order your kit from us and it will be waiting for you on your arrival. We recommend and sell Finis Zoomers or Z2\, and Finis snorkels. We have plenty of kick boards and pull buoys so there is no need to bring them. Bring your goggles (we have a range of mirrored and tinted goggles for sale at the pool)\, swimsuits\, caps and plenty of waterproof\, high protection sunscreen at FACTOR 50. \nDATES\n» May 25th – June 1st .. 7 days.\n» July 2nd – 9th .. 7 days.\n» July 9th – 19th .. 10 days.\n» July 19th – 26th .. 7 days.\n» July 26th – August 2nd .. 7 days.\n» August 3rd – 10th .. 7 days.\n» August 10th – 20th .. 10 days.\n» August 20th – 30th .. 10 days. \nADDITIONAL INFORMATION \nDISCOUNTS: If you are a family of 5 or more people\, the first four people pay the usual price\, and each person after that receives a 5% discount off the lowest priced person in the family\, i.e. a family of 5 will receive a 5 percent discount off a non swimming child or an adult. (Note: A non swimming child is aged 16 or under). \n1-2-1s: During the holiday we can organise 1-2-1 sessions of 30 or 60 minutes with individual swimmers. As time is very limited during the week\, it is best to book these in advance to avoid disappointment. Please note we do not offer 1:2:1 sessions on the arrival or departure days of our holiday dates. Cost for 30 minute session is 35 euros and 60 minutes is 50 euros. Exact times of 1-2-1s will be confirmed upon arrival. DESCRIPTION:Join us for one of the most scenic and forested races in the East West Destination Mountain Bike Race Series presented by Bloch & Chapleau Attorneys at Law and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. \nThis adults-only race will start at 5:30 p.m. on Red Sandstone Road in Vail and end at the Lost Lake trailhead (west side). \nThe series will continue through August\, with over 1\,750 riders of all ages and ability levels competing for a total of $5\,200 in cash and $30\,000 in prizes. \nIndividual race costs are $26 for preregistration or $37 on race day. DESCRIPTION:Swim for Kids Event 2019\nSaturday\, July 27\, 2019 marks the 3rd Annual Swim for Kids.  \nThis 1.5 km and 3 km open water swim in beautiful Lake Ontario will be held at Lake Ontario Park. The swim is open to swimmers aged 12+ of all abilities and provides a healthy way to enjoy some friendly competition while supporting two great causes: Easter Seals Ontario and YMCA of Kingston Y Penguins Aquatic Club. \nSwim for Kids Highlights\nHighlights of the event include the post-swim breakfast and awards ceremonies. Here\, swimmers celebrate their accomplishments\, receive awards\, prizes and recognition for their swimming and fundraising efforts\, as well as have the opportunity to meet YMCA of Kingston and Easter Seals local Ambassadors. SUMMARY:First Amravati Duathlon 2019
DESCRIPTION:Cycling is popular sports. More and more fitness loving persons adopting it\, as a way to fitness\, connect with group of cyclists\, have a fun and there are many such reasons to start cycling. In every sport\, to make it competitive\, to test your capacity and to enjoy the spirit of competitive event\, participation in such event is also necessary. Amravati Marathon Association\, after three successful Amravati Half Marathons\, has decided to venture into organization of Duathlon in Amravati. \nDuathlon : Duathlon is very popular and highly competitive sports event in western countries. In India recently this event is organized in Metro cities. A duathlon is a competition that is composed of running and biking. The usual format for a duathlon is run-bike-run\, meaning you start with a run\, then transition to the bike\, then transition back to running again. Your time starts when you start the race\, and finishes when you cross the finish line. Athletics can participate as solo and Team also. There are different events depending upon the distance of running and cycling. In Amravati we are organizing following events of Duathlon. \nOlympic Duathlon  :  10 Km Run followed by 40 Km Road Cycling and 5 Km final Run. \nSolo Olympic Duathlon: The same participant will be doing the running and cycling. \nTeam Olympic Duathlon – In a team\, running will be done by a runner and cycling part will be done by a cyclist. For example\, in a team\, Ashok is Runner and Bhaskar is cyclist. Ashok will start the event as all Duathlons start with running. Once Ashok finishes his first part of running of 10 Km and returns to finish line\, Bhaskar will start the cycling. After Bhaskar returns to finish line\, completing the 40 km cycling\, Ashok will again start the last part of 5 km running. \nSprints Duathlon : 5 Km Run followed by 20 Km cycling and 2.5 km final Run. \nSprint Duathlon is also for Solo participants and Teams. \nRoute : Event will start  and finish at  Government Girls High School ground. Running route for all event is within city. Cyclist will go on Mardi Road for 10 Km and return to finish point to complete 20 kms. For 40 kms\, cyclist will have to do two loops. Any changes in route and start/finish point will be communicated to participants. \nAge and Sex category: Participants above 18 years can participate in Olympic Duathlon and Sprints Duathlon.  This being a first year\, we are not keeping separate Age/Sex categories. Ladies can participate in solo as well as in team event. Team may consist of both ladies\, both gents or one lady and one gent. \nCash Prizes : \nOlympic Duathlon Solo : First three athletics. DESCRIPTION:The Isle of Man Marathon is a competitor friendly event taking place on the picturesque course in the North of the Island\, nestled between England and Ireland. The race is set every year in week 33. DESCRIPTION: It is an unique event and an opportunity to enjoy Swedish landscape with your running shoes on. The four distances: 42\,2 – 21\,1 – 10\,5 – 5\,5 km is great if you bring friends and family. You are able to change distance until last day. \n\nA lovely feature of the race is that you celebrate your achievement by taking a swim. The start and finish is at Fjällnora\, a beach located at an isthmus between two lakes\, surrounded by forests. \n\nThe event is small scale and friendly\, we expect no more than 200-300 people on each distance. Our aim is to focus on lovely run courses and less garbage. So we will provide runners with multi-use cups instead of plastic cups. Less merchandise\, but more run fun. You may actually meet a steam train along the course!\n\nOur race is open for runners with dogs\, last year there were just two dogs.
