While the inaugural edition introduced the exciting and challenging 64km ultra\, the second edition has been revamped to become a trail marathon event. Offering runner 4 different race categories. \nThe race will start and finish at Singapore’s favourite trail running haven\, MacRitchie Reservoir. The 4 race routes consists of 90 to 95% trails covering officially designated hiking trails\, both old and new\, at MacRitchie Reservoir and its surrounding vicinity. All 4 race routes do not involve any multi-looped courses! They are all single continuous runs. Say goodbye to those trail races that make you run loops after loops! Thus its a great route for those who are looking to get into regular trail running and explore trails outside of MacRitchie Reservoir.\n\n\n\nCut off time: 6hrs (7.05am to 1.05pm)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n10 KM\n\nThis is a simple out and back single continuous route which is almost entirely on trails. Its a course that has constant ups and downs all the way and hence its quite challenging but still lots of fun. Its a perfect course for traditional 10km runners of all abilities\, of any age.\n\n\n\nCut off time: 4hrs (7.15am to 11.15am)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n05 KM\n\nThe 5km category is a simple out and back route which is run almost entirely on trails\, and is flanked by gorgeous ancient trees on both sides of the trail route. Any assistance\, other than medical aid received during the swim will result in immediate disqualification.\n7.    No persons other than the participants and officials are permitted in the swimming area.\n8.    Participants in difficulty shall signal by raising an arm to the escorting kayaks for assistance.\n9.    Once assistance is rendered\, the participant must retire from the competition. \nCYCLING\n1.    Participants must ensure that their Bib Numbers are clearly visible on their adorned apparel at all times.\n2.    No bare torso is allowed at all times.\n3.    Participants are to ride in single file on the left side of the road except when passing another participant and are reminded to observe traffic rules at all times.\n4.    All participants will be required to perform their own repairs if their bicycles should break down.\n5.    Support vehicles and crews are not permitted.\n6.    All participants must wear helmets from the time they remove their bicycle from the rack.\n7.    The helmet must stay on the participant’s head until he/she has placed his/her bicycle at the allocated spot on the bicycle rack.\n8.    It is the participants’ responsibility to ensure that their bicycles and bicycle brakes are in good working condition.\n9.    Wearing headphones is not allowed at all times. Communication or entertainment devices of any type are strictly prohibited during competition.\n10.    Drafting is NOT allowed. SUMMARY:4 Peak Mountain Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Thule 4Peaks Mountain Challenge is a rugged 24 kilometres (15 mi) mountain skyline route for trail runners\, held every September since 2002 in the Witteberge 32 kilometres (20 mi) NNE of Ficksburg in South Africa’s Free State province near the Lesotho border.. \nA record field of 210 mountain runners tackled the route in 2010. The large number of entrants necessitated a start of 3 batches at 15 min intervals. Ryan Sandes\, the 2010 men’s winner\, set a new record time of 2h 41m 58s. Fit athletes complete the course in about 6hrs with the backmarkers finishing in about 9hrs. \nThis race exists to enlighten all those who think the Free State is that flat part on the N1 on your way to Cape Town.  Come and challenge yourself in with the unique and extreme 4Peaks mountain race.  The race’s home is in the picturesque Moolmanshoek Private Game Reserve.  This unique circle race runs along the tops of the Witteberg Mountain range that makes an unforgettable horse shoe that encloses the Moolmanshoek valley. \nThe race is hosted by the Nel family at Moolmanshoek.  Most athletes make the race a weekend affair with family and friends and added value like a breathtakingly beautiful mountain bike ride the day after the race.  Apart from these two races there are several hikes\, bird hides\, lots of game that can be viewed on horseback\, or from a horse cart or from a 4×4 game viewing vehicle \nThe route rates as extremely demanding\, but is made bearable by spectacular mountain scenery. Celebrate this historic milestone with other Batman fans in Singapore\, with runners also receiving exclusive Batman-themed giveaways and enjoying an exciting race at night. \nCollection of kit: \n \nDate: 14th Sept & 15th Sept 2019 \nTime: 11am to 7pm \nVenue: Velocity @ Novena\, Wing Atrium (beside New Balance) \nIt is mandatory for all Batman Run Singapore 2019 participants to collect their Race Entry Packs within the dates stated above. \nParticipants will need to bring along a photo ID (NRIC / FIN / Driver’s Licences / Passport) and your soft/hard copy of confirmation slip for verification purposes. The Organizer reserves the right to refuse participants without the required documents from collecting their entry packs. \nFor Participants Who Are Unable To Collect In Person: \nIf you are unable to collect your entitlements in person during the assigned collection days\, you may authorize someone to collect it for you. Your representative will need to produce the following documents in order to collect on your behalf: \n• A copy of the participant’s identification card and confirmation slip for verification. \nYour representative’s particulars will be noted down for record purposes. \nFor Foreign Participants: \nTravelling from overseas for the event?
