DESCRIPTION:The World’s Largest Junior Triathlon \nHever Castle Triathlon has established itself as an essential destination for British and international triathletes and the mainstream media\, for its picture postcard venue\, elite action\, age-group choice and festival atmosphere. Put simply\, instant classic doesn’t do the Hever Castle Triathlon justice. \nSibling bonding\, friendship and sporting camaraderie are the theme at the Hever Castle Triathlon. The World’s largest children’s triathlon continues the Brownlee spirit\, with a festival of sport at the historical Kentish and iconic venue. \nAs in previous years\, the children’s races are split over two days (8-10 year olds on Saturday afternoon and 11-15 year olds on Sunday afternoon). \nThe races will again commence with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden\, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent\, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\, and up to the stunning Ashdown forest for the longer distance races. DESCRIPTION:400m swim – 26km bike – 6.25 km run \nA partnership between local volunteer groups\, Ludlow Runners\, Ludlow Cycling Club and Teme Leisure\, the Ludlow Sprint Triathlon has been going since 1996 which makes this year its 22nd year.  Situated at the northern edge of town\, Ludlow Leisure Centre is just off the A49 and along side LudlowSecondary School. The swim will take place in the 25-metre pool in the Leisure Centre\, with Transition situated to the rear of the building\, access through reception and down the corridor. The cycle will be through part of the town\, out onto country roads before returning to the centre on the A49. DESCRIPTION:The Osprey Sprint “Spring Race” is set to put good use to those winter months of training before the first open water swim events. \nThis is a perfect event for newcomers to the sport of triathlon and a fantastic start to the season for the more experienced athlete. The facilities at the Osprey Centre are perfect for a pool based triathlon with secure racking for the bikes\, chip timing by FullOnSport\, a beautiful and scenic bike ride and a fantastic flat off-road coastal run. \nThe Legacy cafe will be open during the event for spectators and competitors alike. \nPlease make sure you input your estimated swim time as accurately as possible when going through the online entry system as this will decide your swim group start time. This race will be chip timed so there will be NO wave starts. Each competitor will start 10 seconds after each other in one continual wave in the pool. \nAll information will be emailed out to you\, everything you need will be given to you at registration. \nWhether this is your first triathlon or you are a seasoned athlete this will definitely be a fantastic start of season race. \nEach competitor will receive a custom race medal and one of our customs made buffs too.

DESCRIPTION:The Paluma Dam Trail Run on Sunday\, 28 October 2018 starts and finishes at the village green in the Paluma township\, north west of Townsville\, Queensland. \nThere is an array of trails around the village crossing creek\, passing waterfalls and lookouts. Paluma is cooler than the coastal region and it makes for great trail running in October. \nThere is a 6km short course\, 10km intermediate course\, and 20km long course. Trail running comes with some risk\, running in the rain forest and on remote takes a certain skill and fitness level. Please make sure you are up to the distance you wish to run.

A perfect way to be part of a live event (without any mass gathering!) \nBelow is a brief on how it works but sign up to our Richmond Upon Thames challenge. You choose what time you fancy starting your run (start can be any time between 8am and 10am) You decide which CheckPoint you want to start from! There typically is parking at each location. We will have event crew at each CheckPoint to support you\, check you in\, set you off!  \nThis is how it works – \n* On event day you can come to any of our set checkpoints and start at whichever one suits you.\n* You can start anytime between 8am and 10am\n* You can do the full circuit\, checkpoint A to B\, B to C\, C to A (remember you can start at any one and finish at any one) See race map visual for more info.\n* Or you could do for example\, B to C and C back to B\n* Typical distance for a full circuit will be around 10km and between each checkpoint about 3km or so\n* There’s no set route in between each checkpoint so you can either take our recommended route or choose your own\n* Live results will happen as you scan a QR code at each checkpoint and these results will go straight to our live leaderboard\n* Receive a stunning medal on completion
