The Big South East Swim returns to Dartford for the 6th year running.\nCome and swim in one of the cleanest lakes in the UK. You have 5 swim and 2 Aquathlons distances to choose from. This is the ideal swim venue for beginners and experienced swimmers. \nEvent details\n\nUpon arriving at the Bridge Site\, please make your way to the car park. Then follow the arrows to the swim start that’s about 400 meters away.\nTo find us by Sat Nav the postcode is DA15GA\, and that will take you to the car park\nPlease keep to the pavement as the fast-track bus route will be running all day.\nRegistration will be on the right-hand side on the grass and will open at 8am.\nThere will be changing tents and Toilets on site.\nPlease take care when you exit the lake as the ground will be wet and muddy.\nThe swim will take place in the South Lake at The Bridge. Sign up your family or friends in a team for one of our many events in the Festival and make it a day to remember. \nAll our adult events are chip timed**\, professionally photographed and you will receive a finisher’s medal and a technical t-shirt for your participation. \nTriathlon\nWe are hosting four open water Triathlon distances at the Festival of Sport Northwood: \n• Novice – 400M/10K/2.5K\n• Sprint – 750M/20K/5K\n• Standard – 1500M/40K/10K\n• Half Iron – 1.9K/100K/20K (8 hour maximum completion time) \nEach wave will start with an ‘in water’ start in the large and sheltered Merchant Taylors private lake. The swim courses will be well marked and there will substantial water safety staff on hand and in the lake for safety and reassurance. After the swim\, it’s just a short dash to the Transition Zone\, which situated in a fully fenced and secure area adjacent to the lake. The bike leg will take you out on the picturesque Hertfordshire roads on interesting\, fast and challenging routes. The run leg is predominately flat and is set within the confines of the stunning Merchant Taylor grounds. The finish\, as always\, is in our sports village where you will receive a hero’s welcome over the line. \nMinimum Age: Novice and Sprint 15+\, Standard 16+ and Half Iron 18+ \nRun\nThere will be 3 run distances at the Hercules Festival of sport Northwood: 1.5K Fun Run\, 5K and 10K. \nWe have created interesting routes through the picturesque private Merchant Taylors’ grounds. Please note the following age restrictions for our run events below: \n• 1.5K -Everyone welcome\n• 5K -11 years +\n• 10K -11 years + \n**1.5K Fun Run is not a chip timed event \nCycling\nWe have an excellent out and back 100KM Cyclo Sportive on offer at the Hercules Festival of Sport Northwood: \n• 100 Kilometres \nOur route takes you out in to the outstanding Hertfordshire countryside\, and into neighbouring counties. Our route will be well marshaled and a feed station will be available on route. We will also provide a free GPX file of the route along with your race day briefing. \nThe beauty of Sportives is that they are for everyone and every standard\, so challenge yourself and ‘go long!’ \nMinimum Age: 16+ \nOpen Water Swimming\nThere will be 2 open water swim races at the festival of Sport Northwood: 3K and 5K. \nOur swim races will take place in the large and sheltered Merchant Taylors private lake. Given this rural setting\, the run will be a rare treat and there are lots of opportunities for spectators to cheer you on to the finish line and a warm welcome in our Sports Village. \nMinimum Age: Sprint 15+\, Standard 17+ \nDuathlon\nBack by popular demand we have 3 Duathlon distances to offer this season: Novice\, Sprint and Standard. \n• Novice – 2.5k/10k/2.5k\n• Sprint – 5K/20k/2.5K\n• Standard –  10K/40K/5K \nWe have tailored our Duathlons to make sure that there really is a distance for every ability. Both of the Duathlon run legs will be contained within superb grounds of Merchant Taylors. The bike leg will take you out into the surrounding counties of Hertfordshire and Middlesex for a fast and enjoyable road race. \nRoad bikes are recommended for the Hercules Festival of Sport Northwood but by no means compulsory. Any person doing so will be held responsible in case of an accident arising from or provoked by the other person during the race. The Organisers reserve the right to exclude both parties from future events. \n– Changes to team relay members are permitted until registration closing date. An admin fee of S$15 applies per change of person. \n– The Organisers will not be responsible for any disputes arising from incomplete/wrong entry details given by the participants. \n– The race registration will only be confirmed when full payment of the race registration fee has been made. \n– Entries after the registration closing date will not be entertained. \n– The participant must ensure the provided race details are correct upon receipt of the Race Confirmation email and report any discrepancies within 48 hours of submission of the entry form to the Organisers. Any changes thereafter are subjected to an admin charge. \n– Upgrade of a race entry is permitted until the registration closing date. \n– Downgrade of race entry is permitted until registration closing date. There will be no refund of the fee difference. \n– All participants must collect their Race Kit. Participants who fail to do so will not be allowed to race on Race Day \n– Participants must return the Timing Chip & Band to the Organisers immediately after the race. A $100 payment applies for any loss or damage to the Timing Chip or Band. \n– Participants in both the Individual and Relay category must ensure that their Timing Band is securely strapped to the left ankle before beginning on any leg of the race. The Organisers are not responsible for any inaccuracy in participant’s race timings due to improper wearing of the Timing Band. \n– Participants must read the Race Briefing prior to the race to familiarise themselves with the venue\, course and rules of the Event. The Race Briefing will be available on the event website 10 days prior to the race. \n– Participants who wish to protest against another competitor or notify a violation must do so in writing to the Organisers within 30 minutes of his/her finish time. A deposit of SGD$50 must accompany the appropriate protest and will be refunded if the protest is successful.

DESCRIPTION:Putrajaya Perdana Aquathlon 2017\nThe Putrajaya Perdana Aquathlon 2017 is back! \nRegistration are still open. Be sure to reserve your spots while you still can. \nAbout the organizers \nThe TRI-AMateur Group was started in 2009 by Coach Peter Lau in Putrajaya. It has recently been registered as a No-Profit Club under Majlis Sukan Negara\, and now comprises some 50 athletes\, who train every Saturday and Sunday and also on Public Holidays. It is open to all ages\, and the youngest are children as young as 8.  \nThe main objectives of the group are  \n1) Promoting the sport of triathlon to all ages in Malaysia\, and improving\nthe overall standard in the sport;\n2) Providing guidance to future Elite triathletes; and\n3) Promoting a healthy lifestyle to one and all. \nThe group comprises mainly Malaysians\, but welcomes foreigners residing in Malaysia. It has been enjoying reasonable success in 2013 and 2014\, its athletes decorating most podiums in not only Malaysian but also South East Asian triathlons\, duathlons and aquathlons. It currently has five main coaches\, who work tirelessly with the athletes on a voluntary basis
