DESCRIPTION:Are you a hardcore cyclist\, or more of a weekend pedal pusher? Do you push yourself to your limits\, or every so often push your bike up a hill? \nEither way – we get you\, and this year\, Discovery and 947 want to make moving on a bike fun\, easy and feel-good for everyone! Whatever your move\, there’s a race you can join to be a part of Joburg’s most iconic cycle event: \n947 Vitality Short Ride (approx. 40km) \nTaking place on Sunday\, 17 November and around 40km long\, it offers more people the chance to own the closed roads of Joburg and see their city from a new perspective – on their bikes.\nThe 947 Vitality Short Ride will start at Melrose Arch from 09h30 and will be fed onto the 94.7km route from the Athol Oaklands offramp (M1S)\, so even though you are doing the shorter ride\, you’ll experience the camaraderie from other riders\, as well as the support from the Joburgers who line the street make this an unmissable event! \nJoin the King Edward Old Boys Association for the Discovery 947 Ride Joburg on Sunday 17 November at Riversands Commercial Park.
