The course leads from the Jungfernstieg jetty through the Binnenalster and the Außenalter lakes. \nThe new two-loop 180.2 km (112 mile) Ventum bike course is fast and flat with a short climb at the Köhlbrandbrücke bridge. It leads athletes out of the city and towards the idyllic Vier- und Marschlande region. Crazy crowds await you at the Zollenspieker Fährhaus! \nThe four-loop 42.2 km (26.2 mile) HOKA One One run course was made for fast run times as it takes athletes through the city of Hamburg and into the heart of the harbour. SUMMARY:IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa
DESCRIPTION:IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa will be taking place in the beautiful Buffalo City. The city known as East London is a gateway to the popular Eastern Cape tourist routes\, the Sunshine Coast and Wild Coast.  As one of the longest running middle distance races in the country\, the IRONMAN 70.3 South Africa is the official African TriClub Championship and a “badge of honour” race for any true IRONMAN 70.3 athlete. \nThis race offers 65 qualifying slots for the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Taupō\, New Zealand\, comprising of 40 age group slots plus 25 qualifying slots for the Women for Tri initiative. \n \nThe one-loop 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim course will begin with an ocean swim in East London’s Orient Beach. Protected by the breakwaters of East London’s harbor\, athletes can expect generally calm and warm waters. The one-loop 90 km (56 mile) bike course with rolling hills will be a challenge. Road closures will allow athletes to safely navigate the course while enjoying the inherent beauty of the landscape. The two-loop 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course is a flat run with spectacular ocean views. DESCRIPTION:Langkawi Island\, the Jewel of Kedah\, is set to host the new IRONMAN 70.3 Langkawi in 2019.\nRace along the pristine coast of Langkawi – the paradise tropical island of Malaysia. \nThe Event Experience\nThe ocean swim starts from the picturesque white sandy beach of Pantai Kok with a triangle out and back course. A one-loop bike course heads out of Pantai Kok on to a clockwise loop from towards the rolling hills of Datai and the fringes of Kuah Town. Athletes will return from the bike into an unique indoor air conditioned transition at the Mahsuri International Exhibition Center (next to the airport) .
