DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 2019 ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series Finals weekend. It is of course open for everyone with and with Various formats:\nExperience – team & solo – Saturday\nSprint – team & solo – Saturday\nWorld Series – team only – Sunday \nWarm water\, historical remains\, rugged coastline. A Swimrun paradise! Malta has been a central part of many cultures. Now it is time for the Swimrun culture to get a foothold too. This race course has everything you can dream of for an ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Series Final. It is hard\, it is long\, it is stunning. \nThe World Series course is almost flat; starting in the old town of Valletta\, within the ramparts with all the magnificent buildings around\, then swimming and running across bays out of the city into nature. Where crystal-clear swims dominate\, barren trails\, small fishing villages with a breath-taking swim to the finish line. Along the way you will find some surprises. This is for sure a swimrunners course with lots of transitions\, tricky water entries and exits\, big runs\, open water swims and no place to rest. \nA total of 39 km with 8 swims of which the longest is 1 500 metres.
