Run past history\, test your limits\, and celebrate the incredible spirit of Northampton.\nWhether you’re an experienced runner or taking on your first race\, you’ll feel the community cheering you on every step of the way. \nRace Categories\nThe Half Marathon \nStarting in the historic Market Square\, a half-marathon loop around England’s largest town\, running downhill over South Bridge and following the line of the river past Northampton’s three main sporting grounds: Sixfields stadium (football)\, Franklin’s Gardens (rugby) and The County Ground (cricket)\, through three beautiful parks\, passing through the modern University campus. Then up into the historic town centre to finish back at the Market Square. All finishers receive a t-shirt and a medal.\nFind out more about the Half Marathon. \nThe Half Marathon Relay\nShare the Challenge. Celebrate the Finish. \nTake on The Amazing Northampton Run as a team with our Half Marathon Relay. Perfect for friends\, families\, or colleagues looking to conquer the course together\, the relay divides the 13.1 miles into three exciting legs. All finishers receive a t-shirt and a medal.\nFind out more about the Half Marathon Relay. \nThe 3 Mile Fun Run\nBig Atmosphere. Shorter Distance. Same Celebration. \nLooking for a fun\, accessible way to be part of the race day buzz? The 3-Mile Fun Run is the perfect choice for families\, casual runners\, or first-timers wanting to soak up the energy without running a half-marathon. All finishers receive a medal.\nFind out more about the 3-Mile Fun Run. \nSchedule\nRegistration \nIf you have chosen to have your race number posted to you\, it will arrive at least one week before race day. If you have your race number\, there is no need to attend registration. \nRegistration for Relay runner team captains only will take place on Saturday\, 12th September\, from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at The Mercure Hotel\, Northampton\, NN1 2TA.\nIf you are unable to attend on Saturday\, we will offer limited registration on Sunday\, 13th September\, from 7:15 AM to 8:30 AM. \n  \nOn The Day \nThere will be a pre-race warm-up at approximately 09:15 with the team from Step Forward and Lewis/Virgin Active. The Half-Marathon individual and relay starts at 09:30. The 3 Mile Fun Run starts at 09:45. Please note that the race has a cut-off time of 3 hours. \n  \nAid Stations \nThere will be four aid stations positioned at approximately 3-mile intervals along the course \n  \nPacers \nThe pacers\, sponsored by Franklins Solicitors\, are available to help you achieve your race goals. They will support participants aiming for finish times of 1:30\, 1:45\, 2:00\, 2:15\, 2:30\, 2:45\, and 3:00 hours. \n  \nMile Markers \nMile markers will be displayed throughout the course\, counting up to the finish line. \n  \nSecure Bag Drop \nThere will be a secure bag drop area at the start/finish. DESCRIPTION:Sister event of the Jones o Gymru Anglesey Half Marathon\, the Anglesey Trail Half Marathon & 10km is set in the beautiful surroundings of Newborough Forest & Traeth Llanddwyn\, Anglesey.\nThe course takes you through the trees onto the stunning Llanddwyn Island and onwards to beautiful winding woodland trails\, which once hosted the Commonwealth Mountain and Ultra Distance Running Championships. You’ll catch glimpses of the Llyn Peninsula and the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) amongst other incredible views.
