DESCRIPTION:Next Race: 02/11/2024\n\n\n\nWodson Park Sports Centre\, Ware\, Herts\, SG12 0UQ\n\n\n\n\nBACK FOR ITS THIRD YEAR \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nRocket Around the Running Track12-hour challenge \n\n\n\nAs part of the Fireworks Festival of Running\, why not come along and see how far you can go in a 12-hour period. \n\n\n\n\ngreat for anyone who wants to get a Track Marathon under their belt without the stresses of time.\n\n\n\ngreat for those in training for an Ultra\n\n\n\ngreat fun to see simply how far you can go\n\n\n\n\nA chance to get your PB\, or even tick this off your bucket list of things that you would like to do. \n\n\n\n\nBespoke Medal\n\n\n\nTraffic-free athletics track made for running\n\n\n\nFree Parking\n\n\n\nRace photos\n\n\n\nTea\, Coffee & cake free for runners\n\n\n\nLimited to 50 runners\n\n\n\nARC Licence\n\n\n\nChip Timed event\n\n\n\nMusic all-day\n\n\n\nSee your supporters on each lap\n\n\n\n12 hour cut off time\n\n\n\nToilets & Changing facilities on-site close to race track\n\n\n\nNo chance of getting lost\n\n\n\nAid Stations all around the course\n\n\n\n\nRegistration: You will need to be at the venue around 30 minutes before your start time\, which will give you enough time to collect your race number\, receive the relevant race briefing and get ready to run. Please note the venue does not open until 8am\, so do not arrive early. \n\n\n\nRace EtiquetteAll runners will be running at different speeds\, so overtaking will be on the right\, if you are looking to walk some of the distance\, or Jeff\, for example\, we would ask that you take to the outer lanes\, it is important that everyone enjoys the event and as we would expect everyone to respect each other accordingly. \n\n\n\nAs we head into dusk\, you will be required to wear a head torch.  As it is bonfire night\, we expect the locals to be putting on Fireworks\, so potentially a unique experience whilst running the track. \n\n\n\nDistanceThe distance you run by your watch may vary due to the lap that you run in. The daring route undulates over paved tracks and off-road trails and meanders in and out of the vineyards. All manner of ghouls and creatures will scare you in the right direction with the route markers left from the last runners who dared to tackle the course. Now\, this wouldn’t be a proper Halloween run without a few tricks and treats along the way! So keep your eyes peeled as you never know what may be around the next corner.
