SUMMARY:Dawn2Dusk - Virtual Event - Running or Cycling - 3 Person Team Event
DESCRIPTION:What: \nThis is a team event. A team consists of three people only. You must enter your team into one of two disciplines. These are; \n– On Foot (running/walking)\n– Cycling \nYour team cannot mix disciplines (ie if you enter your team ‘On Foot’\, none of your team can cycle and vice versa). \nYou and your team must then see how many kilometers you can clock up between dawn and dusk. For the purposes of making this inclusive to all those around the world\, the start and finish times are set at 06:00 (6am) and 18:00 (6pm)\, wherever you are taking on the challenge. You have 12 hours to go as far as you can. Your total distance will be the sum of the distance covered by all three of your team members. \nExample: \nStefan\, Mary and Jan cover 22km\, 45km and 92km on foot. Their total distance and the one submitted to Ultra X will be 159km. \nWhen: \n #Dawn2Dusk will take place on Saturday 13th March 2021. \nAs this is a truly global challenge we want to ensure that as many people around the planet can take part. The challenge is from dawn to dusk! You have 12 hours commencing at 06:00 and finishing at 18:00\, wherever you are in the world. \nPrice:  \nThe cost for entering this challenge is £21.50 per person (£64.50 per team). \nFor this you will receive: \n\nAn exclusive #Dawn2Dusk medal\nA branded wristband (colour dependant on distance covered – see below)\nIndividual and team rankings\nPrizes for the winner of each category\nSpot prizes for best posts/photos/interactions via social media/email and a random team grand prize!\n£1 per person will also go to a charity of your choosing (Mind 219830\, Sporting Equals 1119365 or NHS Charities Together 1186569)\n\nFinishers can select whether they would like one of our beautiful natural wooden eco medals made from sustainable wood stocks and of course designed with the Ultra X logo in the centre\, or to make a donation to our sustainability partners Mossy Earth\, who will plant a tree in your name in the Southern Carpathians. \nTeam categories: \nThere will be three team categories and you must enter your team into one of the below. \n\nFemale teams (all members female)\nMale teams (all members male)\nMixed teams (a combination of genders in any split)\n\nAll competitors will be contacted via email in the week before the challenge with details on exactly how you can upload results. A leaderboard will be published on 15th March. \nTargets: \nIn order to give you and your team something to aim for we have released the below targets. Depending on which figure your team passes\, you will be sent a different colour wristband along with your medal. There will also be some big prizes for the teams that podium in each category\, those that cover the furthest individually and spot prizes prizes for best posts/photos/interactions via social media/email. \nOn foot: (as a team in km) \n\nLess than 50km – white wristband\n50km – blue wristband\n125km – purple wristband\n250km – black wristband (this band is known affectionately within the Ultra X community as the Black Mamba!)\n\nCycling: (as a team in km) \n\nLess than 150km – white wristband\n150km – blue wristband\n250km – purple wristband\n500km – black wristband (this band is known affectionately within the Ultra X community as the Black Mamba!)\n\nNow\, there will probably be stronger and weaker people in your team but that’s part of the fun\, you’ll have to cover\, or be covered by your team mate(s).

SUMMARY:Lisbon Eco Marathon
DESCRIPTION:Lisbon Eco Marathon is the only Marathon with its entire course within the city of Lisbon.\nIt positions the Portuguese capital in the calendar of this type of renown races around the world. \nEcology\, Competition and Social Solidarity are the main assumptions of this event. \nIn addition to the “mythical” distance of 42\,195 km\, you may choose running two additional distances\, the Half Marathon and a 12 km race\, thus opening the challenge to all kind of athletes. \nConviviality and good disposition are our main slogans. \nMost of the course is held in the “lungs of the city” – Parque Florestal de Monsanto (Monsanto Forest Park)\, in a way that minimizes the annoyances for the resident population\, due to the reduced need for roadblocks\, and at the same time makes it an event with one of the most iconic courses for the practitioners of this sport. \nIn order to make this event a unique experience\, we gathered the practice of this sport in a party atmosphere in the center of the city. \nThe start line coincides with the departure and arrival of the three distances\, to welcome athletes and their families in a comfortable and fun way. \nAnd it takes place in an iconic boulevard of our charming city – the top of Parque Eduardo VII\, next to the National flag\, which has a privileged view of Lisbon’s main arteries\, river and castle.

SUMMARY:LONGLEAT 10K\, WILTS 2024
DESCRIPTION:If you’re looking for a traffic-free 10K in a stunning setting\, then look no further than the Longleat 10K; starting in front of the magnificence of Longleat House\, the race takes in the estates’ private and traffic-free roads\, with only a short excursion of 400m on public highways as you pass the Bath Arms Public House before the final mile downhill to the finish. \n\n\n\nThe route is undulating to hilly\, with a significant climb tackled twice: once soon after the start and the second towards the end. Your reward for that second climb though is the final downhill run along Lodge Drive towards Longleat House and the finish. \n\n\n\nFor children and family or friends\, we welcome you to enter the Longleat 2-Mile Fun Run. This popular support event covers the first lap of the 10K up the hill through to the Bath Arms finishing with the magnificent run down Lodge Drive before crossing the line. \n\n\n\nEntries will close when we reach the entry limit of 1600 runners in the 10K (the 2-mile race is limited to 100 runners) \n\n\n\nStart time 10 am (for both 10K and 2 miles – 2-mile runners finish after the first lap) \n\n\n\nEarly Bird Entry fee 10K up to midnight November 30\, 2023 \n\n\n\nAffiliated club runners £24 \n\n\n\nUnaffiliated runners £26 \n\n\n\nEntry fee 10K from December 1\, 2023 \n\n\n\nAffiliated club runners £26 \n\n\n\nUnaffiliated runners £28 \n\n\n\n2-Mile Fun Run £10 \n\n\n\nT-shirt £10 (if purchased in advance\, £15 on the day if stocks are available) \n\n\n\n(T-shirts are unisex sizing) \n\n\n\nXS – Chest = 45cm Length = 66cm\n\n\n\nS – Chest = 48cm Length = 68cm\n\n\n\nM – Chest = 51cm Length 70cm\n\n\n\nL – Chest = 54cm Length 72cm\n\n\n\nXL – Chest = 57cm Length 74cm\n\n\n\n2XL – Chest = 60cm Length = 76cm\n\n\n\n(Chest measurements are for one side of the t-shirt measured whilst it is lying flat).\n\n\n\nNo entry on the day available

SUMMARY:PHOENIX Fridays – Pyjama Friday
DESCRIPTION:Continuing the ‘PHOENIX Fridays’ – a series of Friday running events with flexible ‘rock up and run’ start times to suit you\, here’s our ‘Pyjama Friday’ – Thank Phoenix\, it’s Friday!. \n\n\n\nThese events are a little smaller than our weekend events\, and the entry fee is a little less than our standard themed entry\, but with no compromise on our legendary medals. We’ll have a selection of our usual big\, bold\, bright and epic bling for you to choose from at each of the PHOENIX Fridays\, and if there’s a specific medal you’ve been after for a while or one you missed out on from one of our previous events then just drop us an email\, and we’ll see if we can bring that one along for you. \n\n\n\nThe PHOENIX Fridays are a series of our timed events where you choose – from 5km to 10k\, half to marathon to ultra. You can complete as many\, or as few\, laps as you like of a 5.3km\, 3.28 mile\, out and back\, course along the beautiful river Thames. We welcome all abilities of runners – complete one lap\, and you’re both a finisher and a winner in our eyes or keep going and see how far you can get in the full time limit and everyone gets a fabulous bespoke finishers’ medal from our awesome selection. \n\n\n\nNot sure? Well\, the beauty of this format is that you don’t even need to decide in advance simply come and run a lap and see how you feel on the day and keep on going if it feels right. \n\n\n\nPlaces will be strictly limited\, so don’t leave it too late to enter. \n\n\n\nMinimum distance is 3.28 miles or as far as you can go in 7 hours. Off the road trail\, the terrain is a riverside towpath. The overall course has no elevation gain/loss making this a flat and fast route. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe provide a physical running service and by entering our events\, you are purchasing an actual run\, either by attending our events or by running the event virtually yourself. All participants in our events\, both attended and virtual\, will receive a free giveaway medal/memento from your run.
