DESCRIPTION:Carthage Race International Marathon 2018\nThe Race\nThe Carthage Race event will take place in Carthage with departure from the Carthage theater gate to Sidi Bousaid – La Marsa and back near Carthage parc on an accurately measured\, fast and flat looped course . Full marathoners would need to run the half marathon plus 2 laps. \nRACE KIT PICKUP\nFull Marathon:  Friday\, February 23 th 2018  from 11 am till 6pm & Saturday\, February 24th 2018 from 10am till 6pm. \nSTART TIMES\nFull Marathon  « The Carthage Race  »  –  Sunday \, February 25th 2018 TOP DEPARTURE  09:00 am. \nThis is 5 hours race. from 9:00 till 2 pm \nROUTE MAP \nRULES & REGULATIONS\nYour registration for The Carthage Race Marathon\, Half-Marathon\, The 10 is non-refundable and non-transferable. However\, if you have registered but find you are unable to participate you may choose to defer your entry to 2018. The option to defer will remain open until January 31\, 2018. \nAID STATIONS\n5 Km mark + start/finish – Please plan your race responsibly – REFUEL regularly.  February can be medium cold.  Carry extra water & electrolytes. \nWe take our aid stations seriously – we will be stocked with juice drink\, water\, bananas\, dates… etc. \nOne Note: If you know that you rely on one specific food item each loop\, e.g. bananas\, then you should plan on bringing your own supply. The aid stations are to serve ALL runners with ALL foods. Sports Med Event’s offers with the assistance of the Municipality of Carthage\, Kram and Goulette a new circuit for a better discovery of the wealth of Tunisia.  \n42km – The Carthage Race Marathon 2019 wants to be more fit with a more fluid racing setup. However the perimeter of the race area is very restrictive but we managed to make it easier in terms of loop. We hope it will meet all your expectations. \nThe 4 races are of course AIMS-IAAF certified and a chrono timing by Chronosports Race Result. 5th The Carthage Race Marathon 4 distances: Marathon – Half Marathon – 10 & 5 K \nThis year 2019 will also see the renewal of the “Challenge Team” Clubs & Companies registration with the relay marathon. \nRemoving bibs \nPlaces: Village Marathon – Roman Theater of Carthage \nThursday 21st of February from 16hrs to 20hrs\nFriday\, February 22 from 7 am to 8 pm\nSaturday\, February 23 from 7hrs to 20hrs\nNO bib distribution on the day of the race \nStarting signal\nSunday\, February 24\, 2019 – Top start 9:00 in the heart of the legacy of Carthage at the foot of the Roman Amphitheater \nRules & regulations\nYour participation in the Carthage Race Marathon can not be refunded or transferred to a third party.\nGeneral Regulations \nAid Stations & Refreshments\nEvery 2.5 km and according to IAAF standards you will find refueling points as well as sponges. Water – Fruit juice – dates & raisins will be available as well as a final refueling. \nRescue & Kine\nA doctor of the organization will be present during all the competition in the zone finisher as well as a team Kiné in addition to the SAMU and the Tunisian Red Crescent present on the race \nWinners’ bonuses\nT-shirt offered during the withdrawal of the bib – a finisher medal specially designated for the race awaits you on your arrival. The first 3 winners will receive a gold medal – Silver-Bronze and a bonus in Tunisian Dinars (link to bonuses)
