SUMMARY:The Bridge Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The race takes place in one of the cleanest lakes in the south of England. The bike course is all on closed roads\, and it is ideal for anyone new to the sport of Triathlon. \n\n\n\nNew for 2019 – we are adding a Go Tri race to this year’s event. \n\n\n\nIn the event of us losing any part of the course we will turn the Triathlon into an alternative event. If we lose the road it will become an Aquabike. If we lose the lake it will become a Duathlon. Sorry no refund will be given as this will be out of our control. In the past 10 years\, this has not been a problem. \n\n\n\nThere are three different distances plus a team relay to choose from: a super sprint\, sprint and standard\, plus a relay option for the standard distance triathlon. \n\n\n\nWe are also running an Aqua Bike race. \n\n\n\nThe first wave goes off at 6.30 am and then every 15 minutes \n\n\n\nEstimated start times. \n\n\n\nStranded distance\, Relay and Aqua bike 6.30 am\,6\,45am\, 7.00 am \n\n\n\nSprint distance\, Relay and Aqua bike 7.00 am\, 7.15 am\, 7.30 am\, 7.45 am. \n\n\n\nGO TRI 8.00 am \n\n\n\n\nStandard Distance swim 1500m – bike 42km – run 10km\n\n\n\nRelay swim 1500m – bike 42km – run 10km\n\n\n\nSprint Distance swim 750m – bike 24km – run 5km\n\n\n\nGO TRI Distance swim 400m – bike 14km – run 3.3km\n\n\n\nAqua Bike swim 1500 – 42k bike.\n\n\n\nAqua Bike swim 750 – 22k bike

Looking over the battlements from the North Terrace\, you can see for miles over the counties of Nottinghamshire\, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire. The name Belvoir – meaning ‘beautiful view’ in French\, is pronounced today as ‘beaver’. \n\n\n\nFan’s of TV series The Crown will recognise several scenes filmed at Belvoir Castle.
