SUMMARY:The Bridge Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The race takes place in one of the cleanest lakes in the south off England. The bike course is all on closed roads and it ideal for anyone new to the sport of Triathlon. \n\n\n\nIn the event of us losing any part of the course we will turn the Triathlon into an alternative event. If we lose the road it will become an Aquabike. If we lose the lake it will become a Duathlon. Sorry no refund will be given as this will be out of our control. In the 10 years this has not been a problem. \n\n\n\nThere are three different distances plus a team relay to choose from: a super sprint\, sprint and standard plus a relay option for the standard distance triathlon. \n\n\n\nWe are also running an Aqua Bike race. If you need a day license you will now be directed to the British Triathlon website to buy one. This is because they need you name and address for the day license. \n\n\n\nEnter 2024 \n\n\n\nWe are pleased to say that there is no price increase at the moment. Sorry but this may change after Christmas. We try our hardest to keep our entry fees the lowest in the UK\, but every part of our race is going up in price. \n\n\n\nSo whatever happens\, we will still be the best Value full and half-distance race in the UK. \n\n\n\nTo keep the price of the race so low we need almost to fill the race to cover the cost of running the event. If you can help us promote the race in any way that would be great \n\n\n\nWhen I came up with this crazy idea 12 years ago I never thought we would make it to our 12th Year. It not been easy but its been fun and I have had the opportunity to meet some great people over this time. \n\n\n\nAll races will start at 6.00 pm and most competitors should be finished before the swimmers are out of the lake for the Midnight Man. \n\n\n\nWe now also have real toilets and showers on site. \n\n\n\nWe also have a tea wagon all night as well. \n\n\n\nTo enter any click below. \n\n\n\nEnter online 2024 \n\n\n\nClick here to go on our mail out list for updates and special discounts on races. I would sooner everyone wear one but we can’t make you. If it goes over 22 degrees for the sprint and Standard.\n\n\n\nFor the half and and full if it goes over 24.6 degrees it becomes a no wet suit swim.\n\n\n\nWe do also now a tea wagon coming along. Not sure how long they will stay for as its a long night.\n\n\n\n\nRemember to bring the following to make the race easer for you\n\n\n\n1  Lights on your bike for the Full and half. \n\n\n\n2  Speedo so you can keep an eye on how far you cycled. There will be a lap counter on the  bike and run \n\n\n\n3 There will be a large TV screen by the finish area so you can double check if you lose count. \n\n\n\n4  You will be given a Aid bag at registration to put anything you need during the bike or run. This will by the feed station in number order. It gets very cold at night as we are close to 2 lakes and the river. \n\n\n\n5 We will be giving out HIGH5 on the bike in 750m water bottles and water. \n\n\n\nThe cut-off times are as follows for the full distance.\n\n\n\n\nSwim 8.15pm (2.15)\, Bike 4.30am ( 10.30 hours)\, Finish 11am (17.00)\n\n\n\nThere are no real cut-off times for the other distances as we are there all night.

DESCRIPTION:The race takes place in one of the cleanest lakes in the south of England. The bike course is all on closed roads\, and it is ideal for anyone new to the sport of Triathlon. \n\n\n\nNew for 2019 – we are adding a Go Tri race to this year’s event. \n\n\n\nIn the event of us losing any part of the course we will turn the Triathlon into an alternative event. DESCRIPTION:Eton Sprints Weekend| Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 May 2023\nThe Eton Sprints are the traditional start of the triathlon season\, welcoming competitors and supporters to Dorney Lake annually every May. The core distance options available are usually Sprint and SuperSprint. It’s the first of three events in the Dorney Lake series\, followed by Banana (1 July 2023) and Season Finale (17 September 2023). The series is organised by Human Race\, who have over 30 years of experience in putting on high-quality\, enjoyable\, and safe triathlon events. \nWhere is the event?\nDorney Lake in Eton\, just to the west of London\, is the ideal setting for a triathlon. The 2012 London Olympic venue attracts thousands of triathletes a year with it’s clear\, calm\, clean water to swim in and flat\, car-free bike and run course. \nWhen is the event?\nEton Sprints 2023 takes place on Saturday 13th\, and Sunday 14th May. \nDistances\n  \nEvent Registration\nREGISTRATION MARQUEE OPEN FROM 07:15 \nRegister and collect your race pack\, which has the following: \n\nRace numbers to be pinned to your front or on a race belt so you can easily switch it from rear for the bike course to the front for the run course\nNumbered wristband for transition entrance/exit. This will be removed by our crew when you leave transition with your bike and kit for the last time.\nSticky numbers for the front of your helmet and bike\nTiming Chip – Velcro strap needs to be collected before leaving the registration marquee\n\nTo collect your event pack\, you MUST show a photo ID and your registration QR code. Please ensure you have registered a minimum of 1 hour before your wave. Please attach all numbers before entering the transition. Bikes are racked by wave. \nElectronic Timing\nYour electronic timing chip should be securely fastened to your left ankle. To attach\, fasten the Velcro thread around your ankle. Once attached\, please DON’T remove it until you have completed your Triathlon. We will endeavour to provide all timing splits\, but this is not guaranteed. Lost chip charge is £35\, so secure it well. We will collect it at the finish line. \nPLEASE NOTE: Only competitors are allowed in the transition area. You will be given a security-numbered wristband attached at registration. This wristband allows access in/out of the transition area and may only be removed by crew checking your equipment on final departure from Transition. \nCOURSE INFO\n\nON COURSE HYDRATION: There will be one drinks station at the half-way point of the run course. DESCRIPTION:Launched as a celebration of 10 years of Outlaw\, Outlaw X takes competitors in and around the stunning grounds of Thoresby Park. So whether this is your first or fiftieth triathlon\, the atmosphere and picturesque views are something not to be missed\, so come and have fun and break records at the Outlaw X 2021. \nRoute description\nSwim \nStart the event right with a swim in the unspoilt\, private lake within Thoresby Park grounds. Swimmers will start in a waved format with a deep water start as they swim 1.2 miles in a single loop. \nBike \nThe single-loop bike ride takes entrants through stunning Nottinghamshire countryside\, including Walesby Forest and Clumber Park. The highest point of the course comes at mile 51\, with approximately 2000ft of climbing. The rest of the route is host to a few climbs followed by plenty of long\, fast sections. \nRun \nFinally\, it’s onto the run section of the event\, with 2 loops of the off-road course. Undulating in a few sections but with plenty of stunning views of Thoresby Hall\, the course meanders into some private woodlands before heading to the finish line for that photo finish. \nLogistics and schedule\nSaturday \n10:00 – 16:00 Registration opens \nSunday \n07:10 Outlaw X starts \nAll timings are subject to change. \nRace Packs \nRace packs will be posted to entrants before the event. If your race pack does not arrive by the Wednesday before the event\, please contact the event organiser. \nKit List \nWetsuits are compulsory for the event. Sleeveless wetsuits are accepted\, but one must be worn\, or entrants will not be permitted to participate. \nCompetitors can wear standard running or racing shoes. \nCut-off Times \nThere are cut-off times for each section of the event\, which are as follows: \nSwim – 1 hour 10 mins after your wave start\nBike – 5 hours 20 mins after your wave start\nRun – 9 hours after your wave start\nRunners falling too far behind will be asked to stop\, and all entrants must be ahead of the cut-off time at all times during the race. \nElite Entry \nYou need to have evidence of being capable of sub 5 hours if you’re a woman or sub 4:30 if you’re male. \nIf the event isn’t sold out\, you can enter via the event entry system and select ‘elite wave’ during the process. The organisers will review the names in this entry list to ensure that athletes meet the minimum criteria. DESCRIPTION:Push your limits with one of the toughest physical challenges in the UK. Great for those looking for that little something extra\, the course takes athletes from the waters of Llyn Mymbyr to the summit of Moel Siabod. \n\nThe Snowman Triathlon & Duathlon routes\n\n\nThe races will start from the ground of the scenic Plas y Brenin\, The National Mountain Centre. \nCompetitors will complete the swim in the waters of Llyn Mymbyr in the shadows of the awe-inspiring Snowdon. From here\, competitors will complete a series of hill climbs over Snowdonia’s mountain passes as they tackle the bike section. DESCRIPTION:The 2021 Dartford Bridge Triathlon will take place on the 27th June.\nAs things stand as of now the 2021 race will now be run safely under covid19 rules. This means a competitor will start every 10 seconds. The race is now limited to 200 entries. This is the only way the race can take place safely.\nWe have now run 7 events successfully following covid19 safety rules.\nThe early bird entry ends on the 1st January. Due to covid19 and we have had to reduce the size of the race the entry fee will be going up on January the 1st. \nThis will be our first price increase in 12 years. SUMMARY:Osprey Sprint Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Osprey Sprint “Spring Race” is set to put good use to those winter months of training before the first open water swim events. \nThis is a perfect event for newcomers to the sport of triathlon and a fantastic start to the season for the more experienced athlete. The facilities at the Osprey Centre are perfect for a pool based triathlon with secure racking for the bikes\, chip timing by FullOnSport\, a beautiful and scenic bike ride and a fantastic flat off-road coastal run. \nThe Legacy cafe will be open during the event for spectators and competitors alike. \nPlease make sure you input your estimated swim time as accurately as possible when going through the online entry system as this will decide your swim group start time. This race will be chip timed so there will be NO wave starts. Each competitor will start 10 seconds after each other in one continual wave in the pool. \nAll information will be emailed out to you\, everything you need will be given to you at registration. \nWhether this is your first triathlon or you are a seasoned athlete this will definitely be a fantastic start of season race. \nEach competitor will receive a custom race medal and one of our customs made buffs too.

DESCRIPTION:The World’s Largest Junior Triathlon \nHever Castle Triathlon has established itself as an essential destination for British and international triathletes and the mainstream media\, for its picture postcard venue\, elite action\, age-group choice and festival atmosphere. Put simply\, instant classic doesn’t do the Hever Castle Triathlon justice. \nSibling bonding\, friendship and sporting camaraderie are the theme at the Hever Castle Triathlon. The World’s largest children’s triathlon continues the Brownlee spirit\, with a festival of sport at the historical Kentish and iconic venue. \nAs in previous years\, the children’s races are split over two days (8-10 year olds on Saturday afternoon and 11-15 year olds on Sunday afternoon). \nThe races will again commence with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden\, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent\, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\, and up to the stunning Ashdown forest for the longer distance races. You’ll swim in the cool waters of Loch Morlich\, bike on superb trails in Glenmore Forest and run through stunning woodland and open hillsides. \nLong Hard Durty: 1000m Open Water Swim\, 18km Technical Mountain Bike\, 9km Trail Run\nIncorporates Triathlon Scotland National Cross Triathlon Championships 2020. \nShort Fast Durty: 500m Open Water Swim\, 12km Mountain Bike\, 5km Trail Run \nShort Fast Durty (Non Competitive): 500m Open Water Swim\, 12km Mountain Bike\, 5km Trail Run \nWhat is Non Competitive? \nIn 2020\, we’re trialling a a non-competitive (untimed) opt-in wave at the Short Fast Durty Tri in 2020 alongside the regular competitive/timed waves. This is in response to feedback that some participants are interested in the challenge\, but not so interested in being timed\, or being listed in results. You will still be issued with a dibber (for safety purposes)\, but we won’t publish your result\, we will just list you as finishing. Just select the Non-Competitive option on Entry Central to sign up to this wave. \nFinally\, A Greener Aviemore Triathlon!\nFeed station cups are our biggest source of waste. So we’re stopping using them. Completely. There will be no cups at feed stations. You need to bring your own or\, if you don’t have one\, we’ll provide you with a re-usable soft folding cup with your race entry in 2020. You will need to carry this with you and use it on the course if you wish to use feed stations. \nT-shirts: some of you love them and some of you don’t.
